Welcome to "Thriving in Midlife Redefining Aging with Wellness" the podcast where we discuss how to live an extraordinary life in every aspect. I'm your host, Kellie Lupsha, a high-performance health coach, who is delighted to be your guide to vitality. In this episode, I'm talking about something that's been simmering in my soul for a long time: the quiet pressure to conform, and how easy it is to slip into a life that looks “fine” … but doesn't feel like yours. I'm sharing why I've always chosen to march to my own beat, even when it didn't make sense to anyone else, and how that mindset became the key to living with energy, purpose, and joy well into my 40s, 50s, and beyond. If you've ever felt like you're playing small or waiting for the “right time” to step into your greatness… this one's for you.Key Highlights:“Fine” might feel safe, but it's not where your best life lives.Your kids don't need you to be perfect; they need you to be bold. The people around you shape your energy more than you realize. You don't need January 1st to begin your transformation.True health includes vitality, purpose, and joy, not just diet and exercise. Most people live at a “5”, but you were made for a 10.Being in a “league of your own” isn't weird; it's wisdom.Key Takeaways:“There is no magic and pixie dust that falls upon us on January 1st… You have the decision right now, today.”-Kellie Lupsha“Don't let fear hold you back. Over the years of being a fellow podcast listener myself, I've received immense benefit from listening to coaches and practitioners I've been inspired by offering anonymous coaching sessions to their listeners. Every time I tuned in, I found these sessions to be an incredible opportunity to get to know myself on a deeper level. And while the content of what might be occurring for someone is unique to them, the themes that are addressed are, in my eyes, universal. Themes that we all need to face and work through...Whether it's moving through self-sabotage, overcoming anxiety, finding forgiveness, accepting ourselves for who we are, or learning to lead ourselves better. To offer you deeper context of my world outside of being a podcaster, and to give you a glimpse into my work as a coach and somatic practitioner, I decided to periodically release these experiences, where I guide someone through a process of the work I offer in-person, which includes a 1-hour coaching session and a 1-hour breathwork journey. In this session, you'll have the opportunity to listen to the challenges Artur is navigating as we explore themes of self-sabotage, self-trust, and self-leadership. Like many men I work with, Artur wanted to address the blocks holding him back from doing the work he deeply wants to step into, moving past patterns of self-sabotage.After a few minutes of investigation, and directing my curiosity toward his experience, we oriented our session around his internal world, something I commonly do within these sessions. What Artur ended up finding was a surprise to him, as he was completely oblivious to the blind spots right in front of him. If you listen closely, I would argue that this is going to be a session many of you might be able to relate to...It highlights that self-leadership isn't just about the execution of our task lists or the actions we want to take, but rather, it often begins by being there for ourselves in the moments that are silently demanding it. This one was for sure a relatable one for me, and I know for many high performers I work with as well. If you enjoyed this style of podcast and found value in it, my encouragement is to let me know: reach out, leave a comment or give the podcast a 5-star rating to show it some extra love. If you've been a listener of this show for a while, you'll know that I truly do my best to offer a platform that brings genuine value, consistently demanding excellence of myself in the process. And the reason why is because I genuinely care and I want men to succeed. My aspiration is to create the kind of roadmap I wish I had when I was walking through the thick of it on my own journey.I hope you enjoy this one.—Connect with Alex Lehmann:

With AI tools like ChatGPT and endless health podcasts at our fingertips, it's easier than ever to gather advice, but is it the right advice for you? We explore what gets lost when we trade human connection for algorithmic answers and why your relationship with your practitioner might be your most powerful health tool.Key Highlights:The rise of “AI self-diagnosis” and why it's not as smart as it sounds. Why your practitioner knows more than your prompt even if the AI sounds convincing. Why “what worked for them” might not work for you, even if it came from a trusted podcast or influencer. The danger of “mish-mashed” protocols, especially when supplements aren't designed to work together. How critical thinking is your superpower, and how AI can help sharpen it if used wisely. Why interviewing your practitioner is essential, especially before a health crisis hits. The power of community as part of your wellness web.Key Takeaways:“What we're realizing is people are relying on something that doesn't know them as a personal human… And that humaneness in it is something that we cannot afford to lose in our wellness practice.”-Kellie Lupsha“The practitioner knows you, they know your lifestyle, they know your history, where you've come from. “You can have a grudge or you can have freedom—but you can't have both.” — Lora Cheadle   When betrayal detonates your life, “It's not fair” becomes the drumbeat in your head. In this intimate coaching session with “Jane,” we walk the real path from righteous anger and blame to sovereignty: naming what's actually happening (mental/physical exhaustion), discerning what you can control (boundaries, micro-choices), and choosing peace over the power of the grudge. If you've been holding the story together for your kids, your home, and everyone else—while seething at the unequal load—this conversation will meet you exactly where you are and offer a way through. Top 3 Takeaways Grudge vs. Freedom: You can have a grudge or you can have freedom—but not both. The shift begins by noticing when you're in blame and choosing peace on purpose. Name the Real Problem: Trade the story (“This is all his fault”) for the truth in your body (“This is mentally and physically exhausting”). Naming what is puts your power where your feet are. Micro-Choices Restore Agency: One firm “no” a week and one nourishing “yes” a week for six weeks changes your nervous system, your schedule, and your sense of self. Episode Highlights Why anger is sometimes a functional fuel—and how to thank it without letting it drive. The fairness myth: differentiating external unfairness from creating internal justice. “Give him the victim seat.” If someone must occupy it, let it be him—so you can choose the seat of peace. Language swap that changes everything: from “I have to” → “I am choosing to.” A simple boundary: “Please stop texting me.” Why this one sentence matters for your nervous system and your future.

Think of this as an empowering conversation where we strip away the fear and confusion and get back to what truly matters: taking ownership of your health and longevity.Key Highlights:Why “well-being is wealth” and how mindset shapes your health. The hidden lock most people ignore when it comes to vibrant living.Clearing up confusion: Is GLP-1 good, bad or something in between. Why “cheating” is the wrong mindset and how framing changes everything when it comes to supporting your biology. The surprising connection between GLP-1 and more than just weight loss. How our bodies naturally make GLP-1 (and why it slows with age). The difference between full, low, and micro dosing and why “less” might actually be more for long-term vitality. How to naturally support GLP-1 activation through diet, lifestyle, and microbiome health.A real-life success story from someone who embraced the natural route. Why education (not fear) is your best tool for making health decisions.Key Takeaways:“Wealth is well-being. And we need to like embrace this well-being, and it's a choice.”-Kellie Lupsha“The dose is the poison. It's not the item, it's not the GLP-1, but it's the dose that makes it a poison or not.”-Dr. HeidiCome to the Virtual Women's LIFE Summit Nov 5th & 6th, 2025! Welcome to "Thriving in Midlife Redefining Aging with Wellness" the podcast where we discuss how to live an extraordinary life in every aspect. I'm your host, Kellie Lupsha, a high-performance health coach, who is delighted to be your guide to vitality. In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on what really needs attention before jumping straight into hormone replacement therapy during perimenopause and menopause. I'm fully supportive of HRT when it's right for you, but if your body's core systems, like gut health, mitochondrial function, detox, and methylation, aren't in good shape, HRT might only offer a temporary fix. Hormones work best when your foundation is strong.Key Highlights:The surprising shift happening in your gut, and why foods you once loved might now betray you.How your mitochondria (your cellular energy makers) start slowing down, and what to do about it.The truth about detox: it's not a one-time cleanse, but a daily process your body needs support with. Why methylation matters more than ever as you age, and how it quietly affects everything. The danger of skipping foundational health while chasing shiny hormonal solutions. How your sleep habits may still be stuck in “mom mode”, and why it's time to retrain them. The type of movement your midlife body actually craves (hint: it's not endless cardio). Why “activating” your body, through food, lifestyle, and smart supplementation, turns on your best genes.Key Takeaways:“When we're in this perimenopause and into menopause, a cascade of events starts to happen… your gut microbiome goes crazy and foods you could tolerate before you're not tolerating.”-Kellie Lupsha“You need to activate your body… You need to turn your good genes on and your bad genes off.”-Kellie LupshaCome to the Virtual Women's LIFE Summit Nov 5th & 6th, 2025! We're diving into why “just eat healthy” isn't always enough anymore… and what to do about it without turning your kitchen counter into a pharmacy.Key Highlights:Why “food as medicine” still holds true but looks different today than it did 50 years agoThe surprising reason your vibrant salad might not be as nutrient-rich as you thinkHow your DNA actually listens to what you eat and turns health switches on or offWhy processed food isn't just “less healthy” but is often missing the very signals your body needs to functionThe surprising truth about “perfect-looking” produce. (hint: beauty isn't always nutritious)Why organic isn't just about avoiding pesticides but is about nutrient density through natural plant stressHow modern farming and long transport times quietly drain the goodness from even the best foodsA mindset shift: thinking of supplements as “concentrated food” not pillsFour foundational nutrients most of us are low on even when we're doing our bestSimple, practical ways to support your immune system, hormones, and long-term resilience from the inside outKey Takeaways:"The food can look beautiful. This segment dives deep into the essence of alignment—the moment when your inner world finally matches the life you're trying to build on the outside. Adam Ksix unpacks what it truly means to live from a place of alignment rather than control, showing that real transformation doesn't come from striving harder, but from returning to who you already are.Through this reflective conversation, he explores how our thoughts, emotions, and actions often pull in different directions, creating internal conflict and disconnection. Yet, when we slow down and tune in, we begin to notice that alignment is not something to chase—it's something to remember. It's the peace that appears when we stop forcing outcomes and start allowing truth to guide us.This clip invites you to rethink how you approach growth and purpose. Instead of seeing alignment as a final destination, Adam re frames it as a living state of awareness—one that flows, shifts, and evolves as you do. It's about learning to move with life, not against it.If you've ever felt out of sync or questioned whether you're on the right path, this conversation will help you recognize the subtle moments when everything within you clicks into place—and how to stay anchored there, no matter what's happening around you.Support the showAdam Kasix works with intelligent, purpose-driven professionals who have achieved some success but are seeking refined clarity, emotional mastery and the cool confidence that comes with progressing in your purpose. Through his inspired frameworks–paired with radical awareness training–Adam helps them see the patterns they've been conditioned with. These highly capable producers eliminate hesitancy, stop living for expectations and gain life-altering insights for their next move–opening new doors of opportunity and potential, in just days and weeks. FREE Master Class: 5 costly mistakes that are keeping your farm broke Sign Up HERE I just had to share this with you because I know you'll see yourself in this story. A lamb farmer came to our coaching call practically whispering, "Charlotte, I raised my prices to $19/lb... but I feel so greedy. What if no one buys?" She'd done her cost worksheets. She KNEW $19 was what she needed to be profitable. But she was ready to slash prices anyway because guilt was eating her alive. Sound familiar? In today's episode, I'm taking you inside our coaching session where we destroyed her "greedy trap" using what I call "belief archeology." Key discoveries you'll hear: The exact compassionate script for when customers push back on price (not defensive!) How we shifted from "I'm being greedy" to "I have a purpose and I'm proud" Why her parents' snide comments about pricing are none of her business (hello, Brené Brown's arena principle) The moment her voice completely shifted when she remembered WHY she raises lamb Here's what changed everything: When she connected to her deeper purpose – regenerating depleted land, touching hearts through food, helping customers taste lamb like they remembered from Europe – she wasn't greedy anymore. She was someone with a mission worth sustaining. Friend, your customers don't want cheap food. They want YOU to survive and thrive so you can keep feeding them. When you undercharge, you'll burn out and quit, leaving them wondering why you didn't charge enough to stick around. It's not greedy to charge what you need to be profitable. It's responsible. It's how you ensure you can keep doing this work you love. Click HERE and Let's Meet! Chat with us to see if Farm Marketing Mastery can break you out of marketing misery.
