When those around have let you down... Jesus said he will be there. When the enemy tries to attack he said, he will be there. Lean not to your own understanding, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord. May this song bless your soul. Amen

Vinyl LP Records - - - The history - - A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), often simply called a record, was an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. The groove usually starts near the periphery and ends near the center of the disc. Because the records were made of polyvinyl chloride they took on the name “VINYL”. In the mid-2000s, gradually, records made of any material began to be called vinyl records, or simply vinyl. The phonograph disc record was the primary medium used for music reproduction throughout the 20th century. - - - The details - - The LP record (from "long playing" or "long play") is a phonograph record format characterized by a speed of 33 1⁄3 rpm, having a 12- or 10-inch (30- or 25-cm) diameter, and uses the "microgroove" groove specification. Introduced by Columbia in 1948, it was soon adopted as a new standard by the entire record industry. The new product was a 12- or 10-inch (30 or 25 cm) fine-grooved disc made of PVC ("vinyl") and played with a smaller-tipped "microgroove" stylus at a speed of 33 1⁄3 rpm. Each side of a 12-inch LP could play for about 22 minutes. The average LP has about 1,500 feet (460 m; 0.28 mi) of groove on each side. The average tangential needle speed relative to the disc surface is approximately 1 mile per hour (1.6 km/h; 0.45 m/s). It travels fastest on the outside edge. - - - It is one, long, groove - filled with music. But, in reality, it is “Just A Groove”, an album oriented groove. Enjoy. - - - Join the conversation on Facebook at - - - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008232395712 or by email at - - - dannymemorylane@gmail.com - - - You’ll hear: 1) South of I-10 by Sonny Landreth [From Landreth's 4th studio album, South of I-10 (1995)] 2) Angels by Peter Holsapple & Chris Stamey [From their 2008 album, Mavericks] 3) Rosie by Peter Wolf [lead vocalist of the J. Josh and Sandy discuss what 40 episodes feels like, the rant of Dave Portnoy from BarStool Sports, why Josh is as neutral as Switzerland, the stats associated with COVID-19, what will airplanes and public transportation look like in the future, what mask breath smells like, the middle of the road stance, what will a vaccine look like and what to do with the anti-vaxxers, how does Chuck Norris combat COVID-19, why Sandy is constantly exposing herself, the timeline for the rest of the year and into 2021, should teachers be declared heroes, and why doesn't "What's His Name?" listen to My Mom Sandy???
Free Agency is happening and it's wild already. Keiper and Corey lay out their full predictions and we discuss the surprising moves. As a reaction to the coronavirus pandemic we are practicing recording from home. We apologize for the sometimes strange audio, we'll get it right soon.

Reflection of the identity of Jesus in relation to Exodus 3:14-15.
Raymond Bokhour is the lyric writer of "The Glorious Death of Comrade What's-His-Name" (comradewhatshisname.com)and performer onstage, tv, and in film. We have an excellent conversation regarding his life, career path, and ways-of-being. This conversation takes many twists and turns that I think make for a wonderful chat! I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did having it! Enjoy!
In His own words, Jesus tells us in John 10:11 that he is “the goodshepherd.” And the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. And in John 10:14-15: “I am the good shepherd. I know my own sheep, and they know me just as my Father knows me and I know my Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep.”
Jesus Christ is the perfect Lamb of God, and he alone takes away the sin of the world on the Cross. It was not nails that held him to that wretched cross; it was his unqualified resolution, it was his love for the Father; and it was his love for sinners like you and me. Behold the Lamb!
Today we begin a brand new sermon series on our favorite topic: Jesus! The Bible says His name is higher than any other name! His name is above every name! He is the Advocate, Bread of Life, Chosen of God, Door of the Sheep, Emmanuel…. His name is Jesus. And in John 15, Jesus tells us he is also called The True Vine, and his father is the gardener…

This week by request, we're looking at some old-school carols that are new to the list! We're back! On this week's episode of the Defining Marriage podcast, we pick right back up with a rousing game of What's His Name, and I probe the depths of the animal kingdom for Bruce something, you know, the football guy. James has been having cuddle dreams, and Germany has been sobbing quietly and winning the freedom to marry. Plus: the latest from the sewers of Paris, the actual sewers, not the podcast.
Donning a leotard, cape and skirt, Dan flies into this episode with his initial thoughts on Supergirl, then solves a crime, kills a bad guy and throws away some content. We go back to 1999, enter the Matrix and leave Iron Fist inside it, come home to find spiders everywhere and conclude that maybe colour-blind people shouldn’t read comics and then make movies or TV shows. Chris floats his idea for Disney’s next big investment, we take a much needed breath of wild air and determine that low movie ratings probably aren’t the best platform to build a TV series on. Finally, Chris’ potty mouth leaves Pete feeling isolated while Chris goes on to drop a gold nugget, closing us out with bats fighting turtles – it’s a nutty episode indeed! The VP debates turned out to be an event despite the major pundit predictions of a snooze-fest. Who won is determined by your criteria preference being either style (Pence) or substance (Kaine). As hurricane Matthew surges towards the U.S. no one seems to want to mention the climate change elephant in the room. Lastly, after having written off Clinton in Ohio, she's back leading in some polls mostly because Trump can't keep his cake-hole shut and is making some blue collar voters think twice. Thanks for listening!

Oh no! Once again, Andrew and Sarah take on Tennant! Can they refrain from endless commentary on his era and the tenure of Russel T Davies? And with another dip into the Gap Year, will they continue the more-positive trend? Or return to the dismal bashing of episode 4? Plus female forms and the return of the crickets! (Note: When Andrew says 'The Tenth Doctor' repeatedly around the 3 minute mark, he means 'The Next Doctor')
You may have never heard their name before, but they are great men in the Bible. They are hardly talked about and little is known of them. Spend your summer with us traveling around the ancient world walking in the steps of the Biblical prophets rarely heard from. And their adventures are bigger than the Big screen - but true. A time of two Kingdoms - one God - and a hand full of minor prophets with major lessons.
