Biblical confidence is rooted not in self, but in God's Spirit within us.Greene emphasizes reading people well. Scripture agrees—but frames it as wisdom and love:“The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.” (Proverbs 20:5).True insight comes from compassion and discernment, not manipulation. Confidence grows when we choose to serve others rather than impress them (Mark 10:45).Greene says confidence comes through repeated action. The Bible calls this walking by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).Confidence is not the absence of fear, but taking steps forward because we trust God's promises:“Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God goes with you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6).Greene highlights trial-and-error. Then, send him a simple message or invite him for coffee. Don't wait for him to reach out — you be the one to step in.Closing Prayer & Challenge:"Lord, You set the lonely in families. Forgive us for ignoring those who feel unseen. Open our eyes to the men in our lives who need connection. Give us the courage to reach out and be the friend we wish we had.
