Growing, Biblical, Dynamic, Sincere, Soul-Satisfying, God-Glorifying Prayer Life.Growing, as in spiritual growth, all the writers of Scripture, John 15, Jesus calling the disciples His friends, is an example of their relationship growth, 1 Peter 2, he says grow, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 growth, is what the scriptures bring, the Hebrews talks of maturity, James 1, 1 John, children, young men, Fathers. We have grown in our conversation. Biblical, the family language, we'll talk about that soon. But we grow in vocabulary and content in our communication with God. Dynamic, real conversation is dynamic. The “Ultimate Lexicon” defines dynamic this way (anything that) “pertaining to processes, forces, or properties characterized by constant change, activity, or progress,” it added energetic.Jesus says, "Each day has enough trouble of its own; that alone will make our prayers dynamic."Sincere, God wants truth from us. Psalm 51:6 “Behold, Thou dost desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part Thou wilt make me know wisdom.” He wants us - not necessarily a script - unless it reveals our innermost being. Soul-satisfying, when I started the podcast, this was the one I spoke of least, thinking it too selfish or self-centered to be valid, but: Luther, Calvin, Knox, Perkins, a guy named Anthony Burgess, stuffy, exacting theologians one and all. Yet all raise the question of the validity of our affections or emotions fostered in prayer. How we are satisfied as we grow in intimacy with our God, through prayer, just remember, you, yes, you are called to pour out your heart to Him, and that is satisfying to our souls.Lastly, our communion: a growing, Biblical, dynamic, sincere, supernaturally soul-satisfying prayer life will be:God-glorifying, he is our adoptive dad who resides in heaven, the creation of which we are a part. 'Top loop romp' i went out for a relaxed Top Loop run and covered about 5 km in roughly 50 minutes. My pace was around 9 minutes per kilometre, keeping things mostly comfortable. My heart rate averaged about 135 bpm and briefly climbed to around 180 bpm during the harder efforts. I spent most of the time in the easier zones with a few stronger bursts mixed in. I finished the run feeling great, like it was a solid but playful outing.

It is cool to me only because It stars the Grandma mechanic from (I love you to death),3 (Legend of Boggy Creek 1972) Tagline, Rated G Hick, Bigfoot movie, barely.4 (Man who fell to Earth 1976) Rip Torn, Buck Henry, and Candy Clark star in this sci if classic, that we should all see in the theater once. Almost forgot about the guy who wants the baby in Labyrinth, he's here too. JK fam Bowie's cool (rest in space).5 (Sammy 1977) These Jesus films crack me up as a recovering Catholic it always amuses me, among other things. This one got a theatrical release. please listen to hear how much money it made opening weekend, I believe it will put a smile on yer face. 6 (Soldier of Orange 1977) Our first Paul Verhoeven film. I remember this being very good, but not much else. the guy who wants “more life, fucker.” In Blade Runner is young and joins the Dutch resistance.7 (Yesterdays Child 1977) This made for tv movie is deliciously bizarre. Starring the mom of the Partridge family and the General from Planet of the Apes 5.8 (Dummy 1979) Worf's human brother, Geordie La'Forge, and the dip shit cop who goes after John Jay Rambo and doesn't bring a bunch O body bags, star in this rad film about tryin to fight Ableism in the halls of justice. A Mindset Shift That Changed Everything One of the biggest turning points in Colette's journey was shifting her mindset from “What can you do for me?” to “What can I do for you?” That simple, powerful change—focusing on serving her audience—transformed how she created content. Rather than selling or pushing products, she focused on making people smile, giving them a pause in their day, and building confidence through crafting. And it worked. The Power of a Tagline and a Smile If you've seen Colette's videos, you already know her signature signoff: “Now it's your turn. Go make something pretty.” It's more than a phrase—it's a mission. It invites creativity, encourages action, and reminds her audience they're capable of creating beauty, too. How She Gets It All Done Colette is a mom of six and a homeschooler, but she still manages to create consistent content across multiple platforms. Her secret? Batching. Mondays are for planning and prepping content Tuesdays are for shopping for DIY supplies Wednesdays are for filming all of her crafts The rest of the week is spent editing, homeschooling, and managing her home She also repurposes her long-form YouTube videos into short videos for Facebook, allowing her to multiply her content without recreating it. And her best tip? Record voiceovers in the car—it's quiet, soundproof, and distraction-free! The Platform She Loves the Most While she started on Facebook, Colette says YouTube is her favorite platform. Why? It's easier to manage and schedule The monetization is stronger and more consistent You don't have to feed the algorithm as often She compares it to feeding someone a good meal once a week vs. feeding them fast food all day every day (hello, Facebook). The Secret to Staying Consistent It's not always easy, but Colette says obedience keeps her going. She feels a calling to do this work—not just for her family or her audience, but because she believes God asked her to. That motivation helps her keep showing up, especially when things get hard. She also mentioned that people are watching—her kids, her followers—and she wants to lead by example. Faith at the Core Colette's faith weaves through everything she does. At first, she wasn't sure how to bring it into her business. But after a powerful moment of prayer in her car, she knew it was time to share more openly. Now, she shares morning devotionals in her Instagram Stories and plans to launch a podcast called Created to Create that will blend faith, business, and creativity. One Post Away Colette reminded us that growth often comes from one post that resonates deeply. A Dollar Tree plunger project and a single YouTube video both went viral and changed everything. There are a couple of simple tricks that will help you do that. This is The Copywriter Club Podcast. The ability to help your clients get noticed and remembered is one of the main things they pay you for. And to find clients in the first place, you need to be able to get prospects to notice and remember you. If you can't do this one thing… you really can't help them with anything else because they never engage with you. There are lots of psychological techniques that help people notice you… or help people remember you… or make people want to engage with you. So what are they? I asked communication specialist Sam Horn to walk through some of these techniques. Sam is the author of the book Pop: Create the Perfect Pitch, Title, and Tagline for Anything. She walked me through a bunch of the tricks she uses to coin new phrases so her readers raise their eyebrows. One of the things you'll notice as you listen is that Sam uses these techniques as she talks with me… you'll hear rhymes, juxtapositions, cliches, and patterns that demonstrate exactly what she is sharing as we talk. The ideas and insights we discuss go well beyond typical persuasion techniques like urgency and scarcity to create a more fun, human, and interesting connection between the ideas you write about and your audience. This is a different sort of interview… because Sam actually workshops an idea for a presentation I am planning on offering to listeners of this podcast. As she goes through the ideas I share with her, you'll notice she starts throwing out ideas and insights I might use when I'm ready to share my presentation. It demonstrates the insights she shares—especially her advice to show the shift as we communicate what we sell.
