We get a quiet storm sing-a-long, the unfolding of the Diddy drama, & Dana's manifestation journey- is she a satanist now? Have you seen the portrayal of a silent jazz movie? Ever seen a widow's peak enter a room before its owner? Dana can't get over Boris' lisp and thought the “fight scene” was caca. And news flash- Kypria still hates dogs.

The girls celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Month with reviewing a Japanese Horror: The Vampire Doll 1970. From the Director Michio Yamamoto, this haunted tale is the first from a Blood Thirsty Trilogy. Questions raised: Was there animal cruelty involved in this film? Can you bury a loved one back yard?

Dana and Kypria scour the internet for the public's take on Immaculate and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The new leading lady Sydney Sweeney's performance is loved while Jennifer Love Hewitts not so much. Based on an actual crime in LA, this film reveals the horrors in a landlord's home while touching on the struggles in the black community resulting from gentrification. Kypria talks about Ludacris & outrageous venue alcohol prices. Dana talks weird garden compost rules & is terrified of Goo Goo Dolls frontman's face John Rzeznik. Questions raised: Dear Hollywood, why is horror not Oscar worthy for nomination? Did you own music in the 90s with that famous black & white parental advisory sticker? BONUS EPISODE! It was a night filled with first every things at the Inaugural Anthology Film Festival in Atlanta on January 13th. For a had to be there experience, the girls perform their first live episode: screening shorts from Rod Serling's anthology series The Night Gallery. They invite you to use your imagination as they fittingly discuss the pilot episode “Eyes” starring Joan Crawford about a rich blind woman from Steven Spielberg's directorial debut. Rod's other short: “You Can't Get Help Like That Anymore” invokes an audience discussion about AI girlfriends to sex doll brothels, & of course Dana, the lab expert, questions the sanitation involved. After the holidays, Kyp getting a nasty, long case of the flu, & our 1st live recording at a film festival… we are back with Tobe Hooper's Poltergeist (1982). Dana schools Kyp on the difference between a ghost & a poltergeist & there is much admiration for Tangina's aviator glasses & voluptuous ass.

Dana and Kypria scour the internet for the publics take on the OG Saw & Exorcist. After decades of having these 2 iconic films available to original and new discovering audiences through screenings, cable, bootleg, DVDs, and streaming platforms: The verdict is in.

With several titles: Dracula vs Frankenstein being one, the girls dive into this Hispanic/Italian/German horror sci-fi by Tulio Demicheli. Even a star-studded international cast could not save this movie plagued with production, script, directing and financial issues. Dana grills Kypria on her dog disappearing methods. Kypria condones zoo culture...not, dont worry just joking. Questions raised: Do your pets watch you make whoopee? Pre 9/11, did you hang out at airport bars to people watch? Waving at boats- what is that about?

In typical late Hispanic fashion we present our 1st pick of Hispanic Heritage Month: Huesera- The Bone Woman (2022)! Legend has it that La Huesera is a ghosty Mexican bitch that likes to collect bones in the desert- which never happens in this film. Dana explains why Hispanic history month  starts on the 15th of September & no, it's not b/c we are late for everything. We dive into a Spanish woman's supposed role in Hispanic society, personal family experiences, gay acceptance in a Spanish household & a Missy Elliot black magic spell. Oh, and Cyndi Lauper makes a surprise cameo.

The Hussies review this fun Irish comedy horror Stitches by Conor McMahon in which a clown killed at a birthday party comes back from the dead to seek revenge. A short history of the fear of clowns in movies & real life is shared. Kypria tries her best Irish accent but its giving Lucky Charms cereal. Dana talks about her a$$hole cat Lola. The girls talk Holy Land dream destinations. Questions raised:  What does it feel like to have a di@k? Were you a bully or bullied in high school? Can you do a split? Enough Star Wars, can we get a Planet of the Apes spin-off?  P.S. The girls promised a short and sweet episode but in the end the ADHD always wins. Also, remember ladies you feel better when you smile, unless a man is telling you to do it.

After another unfortunate & unplanned hiatus, the Hussies are back covering a listener request: Stephen King's The Mist! Kypria talks about her hibachi guy crush. Both of them gave up trying to finish the Walking Dead. You did, too…right?? Aliens were FINALLY confirmed by the US government, do you believe? Kyp is skeptical, per usual. A non-related PSA: stop probing your ass with lightbulbs. And as far as an apocalypse goes, what would you do: Be brave & tough it out? Give up & kill yourself like Dana?

The Hussies bring you a late but great episode meant for Pride Month with Kypria's pick of Cruising 1980. Director of the Exorcist, William Friedkin takes a stab (get it) at this controversial subject of targeted homosexuals in the S&M clubs of NYC. Al Pacino gives an uncomfortable performance as an undercover cop. The girls discuss favorite States, double-headed dildos and Kypria keeps questioning the validity of black belt distribution. One burning question remains: What does the missing 40minutes of hot movie footage look like? Maybe James Franco has the answer.

This week for Pride Month, Dana & Kyp review the Bruce LaBruce film: Otto; or, Up with Dead People. Fair warning, don't watch this with your kids, you will see plenty of dingdongs & dingdong activities. Dana wasn't expecting all the dingdong action when she picked this. An argument about shelled pistachios ensues. Do you remember reading Wuthering Heights? Have you visited a clown or tiny chair museum before? A European sex museum, perhaps? What were we talking about again?

Hussies bring you a late but great episode meant for AAPI month with Kypria's pick of Tetsuo: The Iron Man. Accompanied with a great industrial music soundtrack this movie delivers. The girls discuss d!cks: elephant d!cks, drill d!cks, octopus d!cks, Hentai d!cks, d!icks all around! They also chat about Japanese technology of AI f%ck dolls, AI pregnancy and the future AI apocalypse. Dana and Kypria also discuss panic attacks and trauma therapy. Question raised: Do Kypria and Dana need professional help?

Mia Goth reprises her role as Pearl with the carnage continuing on this Texas farm decades later. Brittany Snow plays a porn star. The Hussies find out Jenna Ortega is a fellow non-spanish speaking sister and plays a prude. Dana finally gets her backstory! Kypria gives a warning, with testimony from her Jehovah Witness upbringing that being raised on a tight leash yields opposite results. Also the ladies recall the catchy 70s tunes about men wanting to diddle minors. Questions raised: Why is a motorcycle a hog? How does a genital guard work in sex scenes? How do you become a fluffer for porn? Remember missing persons on your school milk?

The girls close out Women's History Month with back to back episodes this week starting with Mark Young's 2017 film Feral starring Scout Taylor- Compton. Which pandemic & virus films made the cut for all time best? Dana fears bears & serial killers in the woods & thinks guns are a must while Kypria has a 0 tolerance rule. Dana says Matthew McConaughey's “charm” is annoyingly manipulating while Kypria thinks he's alright alright alright. Also, don't say you're a doctor if you're not a doctor. PSA: Take care of your teeth, don't be like Kypria and become Feral.

The girls are fashionably late with their review to close out Black History Month with Death Spa! With a questionable release date, this unassuming film in Black Horror History features a fresh-faced Karyn Parsons before her Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fame. In this movie a party is going to happen no matter what, not even murder will stop it. Kypria is joined by her sister Karmen Santiago who shares her first horror movie experience. Speaking on equipment crazes: Dana goes on a Tony Little spiral and did you own the Suzanne Somers ThighMaster?

Kyp & Dana are back with the 2nd installment celebrating Black History Month. Dana picked this 1974 blaxploitation film Sugar Hill (aka the Zombies of Sugar Hill) because of their big, googly, shiny eyes. More ASMR brought to you by Jarritos & Stacy's pita chips. Our new mascot, Ellie- Dana's new foster fail, makes her 1st appearance. Dana talks about the passing of her 16 yr old 1st born pup Mala & how she unexpectedly became a new mom 3 days later. Kyp teaches Dana how to not pay ridiculous medical bills (DISCLAIMER: this is Kypria's opinion, follow at your own risk), that The Academy Awards are the same as the Oscars & Kyp finally excels in this movie's accents. Copious cringy amounts of the N word ensue but the zombie slaves get their revenge!

This Zach Cregger film starring Georgina Campbell has the ladies questioning themselves when it comes to the do's and don'ts of a woman's safety. Dana would throw all caution aside when it comes to Bill Skarsgard's bedroom eyes and calls Kypria's disbelief in the supernatural woowoo. questions raised: do you lie about your weight on your license? do you bring books on your travels only to not read them? and to the mass murders, where are bodies buried? PSA: never be to lazy to toast your pop tart, you won't regret it.

Happy 2023!! The hussies kick off the new year with 2022's PEARL. A discussion ensues about the Pearl Star Wars-esque trilogy. Dana reveals her down home kuntry childhood & Kypria finally nails an accent. Get ready for some couch casting, Disney princesses and a pandemic parallel. RIP MALA

Have you been naughty or nice this year? Closing out this Holiday Season with the movie John Waters called the best Christmas movie of all time; Lewis Jackson's 1980 film Christmas Evil. Kypria shares what it was like growing up as Jehovah Witness without holidays. Dana again shares her hate for magic with the exception of her crush David Copperfield. Questions pondered: Ever got loose at an office Xmas party? Is New Jersey or Alabama the armpit of America? Is Dana more black than Kypria with her grape Kool-Aid childhood?

Just call this the ADHD episode. Kyp & Dana provide some ASMR treats while they discuss the Xmas movie Weredeer (2021) in their lovely southern accents. Learn about hand written plane tickets, racist haircuts & when Dana made a child with cancer cry. They cover a real life raccoon invasion, a natty ice trail and build a bear hooves.

This week is Dana's pick: Hereditary (2018). We all know she loves a good creepy possession film. Kyp still needs a sippy cup for her wine. The girls share their own familial grief experiences & how they dealt. Aunt Lydia is a bad person in this movie, too. This episode we experience chocoholics around dead people & things. A king named Paimon. Unnecessary naked smiling people. After a Costco sized bottle of wine Dana starts to pass out again. What happens in the alphabet after Gen Z?

The girls close out Hispanic Heritage Month with this pick (late pick) of a classic Twilight Zone episode starring Peter Falk as a Central American fighter of a revolution who becomes convinced that his comrades are out to assassinate him. On October, 20 1961 creator Rod Serling aired this episode in response to The Bay of Pigs Invasion. They are joined by Rafael Ruiz who freely expresses his opinion (unlike like in his native Cuba) about experiencing Castro's Communist Regime first hand. Also who would make a good Castro? Liam Neeson? James Franco? Anyone with a beard and a beret?

As the gals continue through Spanish Heritage Month they cover a Guillermo Del Toro classic: The Devil's Backbone 2001. Get ready for the worst of the worst Spanish pronunciations in the history of the podcast! An apocalyptic Adult Happy Meal dream is explored and wtf is a Cactus Buddy? A stupid long tangent of their woes on looking Spanish in middle school. Clucking and bucking, Spanish war viagra and the ladies' sincerest apologies for the extreme rambling due to a brand new box of wine. Cheers!

The girls kick off Hispanic History Month with Juan Piquer Simon's 1982 slasher Pieces. All about a boy obsessed with a naked jigsaw puzzle who hacks his mother to death and continues the carnage 40 yrs later on a Boston college campus. This film delivers with poor dubbing, unnecessary gratuitous nudity, and a cameo by Bruce Lee… well sort of. As promised they butcher all the Spanish names, talk about the difference between Hispanic and Latino and the new Latin X term. A debate over waterbeds is had. Lastly, Dana also makes clear that she does not fall for the southern charm of Matthew McConaughey.

This week the Queen is officially dead & the gals review Allegoria 2022. This fresh new movie was written & directed by Spider One, the frontman of Powerman 5000. It's a Shudder original that got not only mixed reviews from Kyp & Dana but also got them all mixed up & out of sorts. Kyp gets triggered by Dana calling out all the narcissists. Lots of artsy fartsy talk. A regrettable Costco wine purchase & why did Van Gogh really cut his ear off?

Dana and Kypria review this 2009 cult-classic splatter horror film by director and writer Tom Six. They recall the joy of tv personalities: Donna and the Wolfman and Star Search's Ed McMahon. They are extremely annoyed with all the victims' wrong moves in this film. More Shit tales are shared.  Questions pondered: Does reverse psychology work on a killer? What would Michael Jackson look like old? Will Kypria's fatness save her from being captured? Do they dare try the luxury of silk pajamas? 

The gals are back reviewing Panos Cosmatos' psychedelic thriller: Mandy. Nicolas Cage puts on a dramatic madman performance on his trippy journey to avenge his girlfriend Mandy's death. Before the recording Kyp almost dies from the tiniest sip of Dana's peanut butter whiskey. Kyp also gets roasted for her raisin food choices. They discuss whether or not there is a blade dick in the movie & if Jared Leto is actually a cult leader now.

Dana and Kypria discuss  Michael Reich's 2016 video house art style film based on his own life in She's Allergic To Cats. We watch as a struggling pet groomer has dreams of making his own horror movie Carrie… but with cats. Dana gives proper etiquette advice on when you hire a maid. Kypria speaks passionately about domesticated pets and learns that putting coconut oil on your taint will prevent tearing during pregnancy.  They both agree that proper hygiene when owning pets is a must and that bestiality seems to be an okay message in movies?

In Celebration of LGBTQ+ month: Dana & Kypria review Stewart Thorndike's 2014 Directorial film “Lyle” in which a lesbian couple's grief over their toddler's accidental death turns into paranoia. Kypria wants Dana to sell her feet on Only Fans and proclaims her love for Destiny Child's and not Beyonce. Dana shares her toddler beauty pageant experience and the time someone stole her identity. PSA: don't expect a pity invite to a party. 

This week wraps up Asian American Pacific Islander month! The hussies go out with a bang covering the 1977 comedy horror HOUSE.

In continuation of celebrating AAPI month it's Kip's pick with her favorite horror writer of all time: television writer Rod Serling, the creator of the Twilight Zone, who is from her birthplace of Binghamton, New York. Season 5 features Japanese American actor George Takei in this controversial, banned for TV episode entitled The Encounter. This deals with 2 people from the opposite side who are faced with their individual American guilt. This TV episode stirs deep feelings from Kip & Dana with the sentence that many 3rd generation American children know well: “My parents speak it, but I can't”. Dana recalls racist talk from her white grandpa & Kip recounts remarks from her racist black grandma. Questions raised: What were you rushing home to watch on TGIF: Martin, Family Matters, Full House, Boy Meets World? Why are people constantly sweating on TV back then? Asking those in the Asian community: What is the main reason for the changing of traditional names to Western names?

This episode we kick off Asian & Pacific Islander History month! Kyp & Dana cover one of the top rated Korean films: The Wailing (2016). They drudge through the very long plot, argue plenty over misinterpretations and touch on Dana's acupuncture experience. We learn that Kyp's mom thought she was bringing evil into her house as a horror fan. Many bad Korean pronunciations are heard & the ladies are so sorry about it. Kyp gets real mad about children not being tried as adults for murder & Dana's racist grandpa would've fit in well in this movie. Was Amber Heard responsible for the village murders? Can Kyp & Dana salvage their friendship after watching this movie? Did you fall asleep watching this?

SPOILER ALERT: the end of film is discussed This week's review is a sci-fi comedy/horror by Frank Henenlotter: Frankenhooker. A jersey boy tries to bring back his dearly departed with collected parts from street hookers. Bill Murray in 1990 raves "If you only see one movie this year it should be Frankenhooker!" One lesson learned from this film is that crack is whack. Dana and Kyp give a quick take on the Johnny Depp case. They share their dive bar day's aesthetic, Spanish dad verbal abuse, and compare how the standard for fat for woman has changed over the years. Dana talks about the smell diet while Kyp shares 20+ nicknames for crack cocaine. Question's raised: Do white people put raisins in their potato salad? Would you like a review of The Human Centipede?

This week is a listener request! From the director of many of the Saw movies comes Death of Me! Dana loved it, Kypria was bored. The ladies almost end their friendship over animals, discuss their prickliness of religions, why you should test drive the car before you buy it and Kyp tries real hard to convince Dana that Thailand won't kill her one day.
