Le parfum est partout : dans notre mémoire, dans la séduction, dans l'identité que l'on projette aux autres. Pourtant, son industrie reste largement méconnue, entourée de fantasmes, de storytelling… et parfois de grandes illusions. Pour en parler, j'ai reçu Francis Kurkdjian : parfumeur, directeur artistique de sa propre maison mais aussi directeur de la création des parfums Dior. Il est l'un des créateurs de parfum les plus influents au monde. À 25 ans, il crée Le Mâle de Jean Paul Gaultier, l'un des plus grands succès de l'histoire de la parfumerie. Un triomphe qu'il raconte avoir… très mal géré. Avec beaucoup de lucidité, il revient sur cette peur de devenir “l'homme d'un seul parfum”, sur la réalité parfois peu glamour de l'industrie, où les matières synthétiques dominent largement malgré les imaginaires de champs de fleurs entretenus par les marques, et sur son choix audacieux : créer sa propre maison alors qu'aucun parfumeur, à l'époque, ne signait véritablement en son nom. Toutes ces métaphores en font émerger une très claire : les lois n'ont pas de voix en elles-mêmes, s'il n'existe pas un système judiciaire capable de les faire parler.

This week we attended the most incredible party thrown for @onthescentmedia byGlorious Brands and Muse Communications - a room filled with friends: movers andshakers of the scent scene, from press, PR and brands alike. Comme chaque premier jeudi du mois, nous consacrons notre émission à la sexualité. Ce mois-ci, la sexologue de l'émission aborde la question de la sexualité dans le couple après l'arrivée d'un enfant. Comment reprendre les rapports sexuels après un accouchement ? Comment être parents tout en préservant son couple ? Quel peut être l'impact de la parentalité sur le désir ? Quels sont les craintes des préjugés au sujet de la sexualité pendant la grossesse ?  Les relations intimes peuvent connaître de nombreuses modifications au cours de la vie, et certains changements vont constituer pour certains couples de véritables étapes dans la vie à deux et dans la sexualité. C'est le cas lorsqu'on est partenaires dans l'intimité. On partage un jour plusieurs rôles : celui d'amants et de parents !  Un bouleversement pour tous et toutes, que l'enfant soit désiré ou que la conception du bébé ne soit pas vraiment prévue.
