Marko's come in with a schmick new haircut and is frustrated that Ox's business idea of 'Shut Up Cut' doesn't exist. Ox brings up the news that Turkish Airways are flying to Australia now, and given you can get cheap hair transplants in Turkey - he suggests a special fight branded 'Turkish Hairways' to handle the demand.Speaking of planes, Marko had a great experience this week. It's an insight into how the other half live. This may involve private jets and exclusive golf courses around the world. Marko has stars in his eyes. Ox and Third Man are extremely jealous. Marko tells us about what he thinks might be a good itinerary, Ox offers tips and tries to invite himself along. Bear in mind at the moment it's all hypothetical, the honchos at the travel company are yet to sign off on it. Will it happen? Marko reckons it's a monty. We think it's a long shot.Ox gives us an update on the Canberra story and how he was whacked with excess baggage. He talked about it last week, and again this week. It's clearly a sore point given he much he's banging on about it. Speaking of not shutting up about stuff. Marko goes back to this potential trip, and he wants to know Ox's and Third Man's dream trip. We find out that Marko has been to Paris 3 times, and spent a month in China, but did not visit the Eiffel Tower, or the Great Wall of China. Seems a pretty major oversight. Marko gives an update on his Ponting investigation. He suspects that Punter may be annoyed with him because he hasn't pumped up his golfing ability.Ox has seen a bloke jogging today, in nippy, early morning weather, and he reckons this bloke is a wanker. He explains why. Marko wants to know if there are any shirtless pics of the Ox from his playing days floating around?Lots of feedback this week. Keep it coming, we love it. Family member Sam has a business idea suggestion for Ox and Marko. Family member Michael has a 'Can We Still Be Friends' question for Marko - Michael is clearly a Talk Birdie To Me podcast listener because this exact scenario occurred a fortnight ago when Nick O'Hern returned from Tara Iti in New Zealand but did not bring Marko a cap. Hear that here in Ep55 of Talk Birdie.Ox mentions that David Neitz has opened a brewery at Bells Beach for his Brewmanity beer, which raises money for MND - and Marko is keen to do a podcast from the brewery. Then, Marko starts getting political and gives GST advice to the government. Could a run for political office be on the cards for Marko ? You heard it here first. And family member Dean has sent some audio in that he has requested we play on the podcast. We oblige. Then, after last weeks joke debacle where neither Ox or Marko could find a possum joke, this week we get back on track. We're here thanks to Paul & Kurt at the E&S Trading Clearance Centre in Clayton, Melbourne on Dandenong Road - right opposite Ikea. After an incredible deal on amazing gear? You won't believe the prices! We'd love you to follow a Couple of Blokes, and get involved with the show on social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. If you've got a comment or feedback, feel free to send a voicemail to Ox and Marko here. And don't forget to subscribe, rate and review the podcast wherever you listen! Hosted on Acast.
