John and Dan recap the Collingwood vs Brisbane clash which was up for grabs deep into the last quarter. There's also a grand final preview. Who do the boys favour to take out the big one?
Stage is set, and we're gunna go right over the top..with Cliches, claims and predictions that are gunna be hard to cop.Don't despair, don't lose hope there'll be smatterings of intelligent chatBut its the Grapple Baby and its finals…and that is mutha fuckin that This week our heroes wax lyrical about the Rugby League Worlds very own T1000…Penrith can't be bargained with, they can't be reasoned with. they don't feel pity, remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop... ever, until you are dead! Can they get past the Prodigal Ponies on Sunday in a triumphant return to arvo finals footy? Most likely not as Madge will no doubt make some eyebrow raising, boneheaded, flummoxing selection changes when he should simply abide by the age old Rugby League adage-“too many hamstrings spoil the broth”.Melbourne with the likely return of the Diver and little Papi seem certain to book a spot at the dance for 47th time under Bellyaches rein of terror, but standing in their way are a bunch of teeth bearing Selachimorpha, playing at a level and with a patience seldom seen in the genus since 2016. Two GF replays from the last decade. Prelim weekend never gets any better.Speaking of species specific encounters, the felines take centre stage at the G on Saturday. One mob hoping to slink through, scratch a post or two, piss on someone's jacket and settle down to a plate of Whiskas whilst paying no one any attention. Another looking to tear their way through a jungle, rip to shreds anything that dares to make contact and create a dynasty of the early 2000's variety. Our heroes never doubted them.Wallabies to bury the AB's at Eden Park, Europe to go B2B in the Ryder Cup and as we've known for at least 3 weeks now, The Colts are gunna win the Super Bowl.No Broader problem but definitely plenty of Grappling to be done, just like Buzz Grappling with who his next faux feud needs to be with.Hey Liver Lips.... Come Get some. Grapple out.

Damian Barrett is in studio for the final time this year to look back at the Prelim Finals, and look ahead to the Brownlow, the Granny, Zach Merrett's future, and how Collingwood reacts to its Prelim loss. Brooke McIntosh joins us for a very special Monday Brag Artist - having just completed running her lap around Australia, then Bill takes a look at the best moments from Triple M Footy this weekend. We've got a massive prize that you can win this week, we've got love for Anaconda, and St Kilda's Jack Sinclair is in studio to talk Brownlow, Nas, and Billy's cowboy hat. When we walked out of the MCG on Grand Final Day in 2023 with broken hearts, we all feared that might have been our one chance with this group. Who would've thought back then the last week of September was about to become a semi-permanent fixture! There are storylines everywhere out of the prelim. Hugh's bounce back, Motty's ascendency to elite status, Harris toying with the Magpies, Will Ashcroft making a statement about just who the real father-son gun is, and that's before we even mention Ty Gallop. And now, our premiership defence now moves to its final stage: one more win, and this team writes themselves into the history books as one of the all-time greats. This week on the podcast:-The unbelievable form of Ty Gallop -Our plans for Roar Deal Grand Final week events -Dom's starting to get worried about the marathonAnd much more!

After a strong end to the home & away season, the whiplash that has defined 2025 has returned - and this one hurts more than all the others combined. Following the most disappointing finals effort the Lions have turned in since 2022's Prelim, our hopes of another September to remember have suddenly nosedived. The news of Lachie Neale & Eric Hipwood's season ending injuries only sours things further, with the growing optimism of the last few weeks suddenly feeling a long way away. And now, in a scenario that has felt unthinkable for much of the last fifteen years, we find ourselves preparing for a knockout semi-final… against the Suns. We're the first reigning premier to make the finals since Melbourne in 2022, who found themselves up against a young, ambitious QLD side who knocked them out in straight sets away from home. Will history repeat itself this weekend, or will the good side of the whiplash work its magic again, resigning Damien Hardwick to the same fate he faced the last time he coached a knockout final at the Gabba in 2022? Also this week:-Mike recaps a wild 48 hours in Perth covering the first Suns final-Is it finally time to return to two tall forwards?-The AFLW Lions are following the same script as the men And much more!
