The team is assembled ahead of Freo and the Cats, but Isaac and K-Mac are squaring off over last night's State of Origin result. Luckily, Isaac has come ready with several guernseys of winning teams. With Toyota about to make another Legendary Moment commercial, our team nominated their own highlights, then Fremantle assistant coach Jaymie Graham joins the show pre-game. After an astonishing story out of Geelong today, Cats legend Garry Hocking calls in to explain what he happened as he attempted to make a citizen's arrest, then Luke Beveridge had some jabs for Jordan Lewis. As Isaac continues to swap into winning guernseys, Jay Z rolls his Chief's Agenda out, and K-Mac's Royal Commission looks at people who might've gone off too soon. More footy news around Melbourne and Essendon is followed by Geelong GM of Footy Andrew Mackie. Then we hear Isaac's Penthouse or Outhouse, and a round of Unpopular Opinions. Finally, Andrew Embley joins the crew from the West, but we're interested in a little moment he had on air a few weeks ago.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Corbin and Bob feast on the Monday footy shows and debate why Tim English would want to leave the Bulldogs, where the Zak Butters needle is leaning and why Carlton are getting in their own way again. The guys also time stamp their three head coach picks for Carlton, Essendon and Tasmania - even though the Tassie licence is still not granted. Plus, why mature age recruits are a "gift" to footy clubs and are we okay with the current climate of head coaches meeting potential trade targets? There really is no need to turn on the TV on a Monday night when Corbin & Bob break it down this well.ABC AFL commentators Corbin Middlemas and Ben Cameron are joined by a rolling squad of former AFL players and legends of the game to analyse matches, deep dive the stories dominating the footy landscape, recap game highlights and talk through the latest AFL ladder standings. Our squad of Aussie Rules legends runs deep with champion ex-players like Brett Deledio, Marc Murphy and Luke Ball, record-holding coach Mick Malthouse and many more. The team discuss everything from AFL games and fixtures, to the AFL draft and key players' performance, and of course our highlights of the year; AFL Grand Final and AFL State of Origin. For more Australian Rules Football podcast content, catch every episode of ‘The ABC AFL Daily Podcast', hosted by Corbin Middlemas and Ben Cameron on ABC listen or wherever you get your podcasts, and get in touch with them on social media via @abc_sport

Greg Cosell breaks down C.J. Stroud, Cam Ward, Drake Maye and Fernando Mendoza from the Combine. Plus JP Shadrick on the Jags rivalry and AFC South outlook. John Harris goes solo from Radio Row in Indianapolis for Combine Day 2, delivering two must-hear interviews. NFL Films' Greg Cosell provides his signature film-room analysis on C.J. Stroud, calling him a potential top-five ball thrower in the NFL but noting that "everything seems to be fast" mentally and he appears to be "inventing pressure" in the pocket over the last two seasons. Cosell raves about the Texans defense — declaring Calen Bullock the best post safety in the NFL and comparing his impact to what Earl Thomas meant to the Legion of Boom — while emphasizing that the interior defensive tackles (Tommy Togiai, Sheldon Rankins, Mario Edwards) were "overlooked all season long" despite dominating on film every week. He also breaks down Cam Ward's mechanical issues in Tennessee, Trevor Lawrence's rhythmic transformation under Liam Coen in Jacksonville, Drake Maye's playoff regression in New England, Fernando Mendoza's Jared Goff comparison as the projected number one pick, and why the Clint Kubiak system is the perfect marriage for Mendoza's skill set. The second half features JP Shadrick, the voice of the Jacksonville Jaguars' media universe, who provides an insider's account of how the Jaguars' season turned after the 19-point collapse in Houston — specifically Tony Boselli's weekly refrain that "this is the most important game in the history of the franchise," which became both a meme and a genuine rallying cry. Shadrick details why Jacksonville was confident they could reach the Super Bowl before the Buffalo playoff loss, the impact of losing corners Jordan Lewis and Travis Hunter in the postseason, Travis Etienne's likely departure as a free agent, and the Jaguars' stadium renovation timeline (38,000-seat lower-bowl-only setup in 2026, relocation to Orlando in 2027, full reopening in 2028). The show closes with Combine workout previews, the announcement that Jacksonville will play two London games (Tottenham and Wembley), and Kirk Cousins' impending release from Atlanta.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

There are so many folks who want to age in place but live far away from the care they need, and that can present challenges for their health, happiness and the social fabric of their communities. Dr. Jordan Lewis is the director for the Center on Aging at the University of Hawaii at Manoa with the Thompson School of Social Work and Public Health. He's Alaska Native on his mother's side and got his PhD in Community Psychology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Over the course of his career, Jordan has been drawn to the study of elder care— especially in rural and American Indian/Alaska Native communities.
