Remember when we used punch cards, microfiche, and spent months developing business plans? That world is gone. Today's business landscape demands speed and innovation—and AI is the game-changer making it possible.John Munsell, CEO of Bazooka and LSU's go-to AI instructor, unpacks how businesses can implement artificial intelligence without creating organizational chaos. Unlike consultants who merely explain why AI matters, John focuses on practical execution that delivers measurable results—helping companies generate $15 million in revenue over just two years through strategic AI adoption. The conversation demolishes common AI misconceptions, revealing that everyday tools costing just $20 monthly can transform business operations. John walks through real examples: generating comprehensive business plans in hours instead of months, creating custom legal documents without expensive attorney fees, deploying AI note-takers that allow for fully present conversations, and building specialized GPTs that become invaluable knowledge repositories for your organization. One student slashed patent costs from $3,500 to just $300 per filing—demonstrating the immediate ROI that intelligent implementation delivers.Perhaps most compelling is John's approach to workforce transformation. Rather than replacing employees, he advocates training existing team members who already understand your culture and processes. "It costs seven times more to replace an employee than to train them," he explains, outlining how his 2-6 week training programs help companies retain talent while dramatically increasing productivity.Don't be the last business to adopt this technology. As John warns, "The company that learns to get everybody thinking AI-first, the fastest, is the one that wins." Visit Bazooka.com to discover training options through LSU Continuing Education or explore John's book "In-Grain AI" about creating an AI-first culture in your organization.Join the What if it Did Work movement on FacebookGet the Book!www.omarmedrano.comwww.calendly.com/omarmedrano/15min

One of my favorite aspects of the G.I. Joe franchise were the Marvel comic book series. G.I. Joe had other comic book runs dating as far back as the Golden Age of comics, but it was the 1980s G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic book series that really tied everything together. From fan favorites like Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, to deeper dives like Bazooka and Grand Slam, G.I. Joe is a fantastic franchise that is still going strong today. Support When It Was Cool on Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/posts/129037758

In fact, over the course of the interview, Eric often came back to the importance of finding your inspiration. His two most well-received games were both conceived when an inspiration "lit a fire inside (of him)." He also very candidly tells us about losing that inspiration while in the process of playtesting The Dome, and how he needed to step away to regain a fresh perspective. This worked, because David tells us that there was a marked difference in players' reception to the game in the very early days of the game's launch compared to after Eric returned from his break, reinspired. Creating anything requires not only a huge investment of time and money, but it also requires a strong belief in your concept. I certainly found inspiration from hearing Eric tell us about his escape room journey, and I hope you will as well.

The US president's "Liberation Day" tariffs have hit Asian nations particularly hard, including America's closest partners like Japan and South Korea. Six Southeast Asian economies were slapped with much higher tariffs than they had expected, of up to 49 percent. Yuka Royer asks the Asia Centre's Jean-François Di Meglio about their implications and what Donald Trump is trying to achieve in his attempt to reshape the global trading order.
With US President Donald Trump poised to unveil his "Liberation Day" tariff plan, Yuka Royer takes a look at what world leaders have been saying and how the trade war in Trump's previous term impacted the US economy and exports. Also, with another major tariff hike – a 25% duty on car imports to the US – taking effect on Thursday, we look at how the global auto industry has been reacting. Plus, Tesla's Q1 sales drop 13 percent year-on-year amid a growing backlash against Elon Musk.
In this week's episode of FX Talk, Matt and Roman are joined by our Sao Paulo analyst, Eduardo Moutinho, to discuss the latest headlines in the currency market. The dollar has sold-off sharply against most currencies in recent weeks as investors fear a slowdown in US growth. Yet, with the Federal Reserve sticking to its cautious approach to cuts, is this move lower in the greenback perhaps overdone?Meanwhile, the euro has surged above the $1.09 level this month, buoyed by the news of a massive fiscal stimulus package in Germany. Is this a game changing moment for the Euro Area economy and the common currency? We'd like to hear from you! This week: Big trouble in not-so-little China as the second-largest economy tries to get out of its post-COVID funk. Emily Peck, Elizabeth Spiers, and Rueters' Anna Szymanski (filling in for Felix Salmon) discuss China's new economic stimulus measures, which might be too-little, too late. They also discuss the secretive family behind Boar's Head and a Sherwood piece about a mysterious $7 billion estate tax. Finally, Josh Levine joins to discuss the new season of Slow Burn, which explores how Fox News hijacked American politics. In the Plus bonus mini-episode: Starbucks wanted to be a classy Italian espresso house, but it became a modern milkshake shop for teens to loiter and flirt. Are its sugar and caffeine-packed drinks bad for otherwise upstanding youths? Or is it good they're hanging at the ‘Bucks rather than seedier haunts?
