Slam the Gavel podcast welcomes back Theo Chino, MBA, DCBA to the podcast. Theo was last on Season 5, Episodes 128, 143 and 164. The last time we spoke we talked about "Voir Dire Your Judge and Family Court Bills." We discussed Judge M. Perry's behavior in Nevada. We showed a brief clip from July 24, 2024 on the YouTube, "Family Court Judge Facing Discipline for Pattern of Misconduct," on KTNV Channel 13 Las Vegas, @KTNV. Berating parents, terrorizing them in the courtrooms and when confronted, the judge blamed it on her medications she has been taking. https://youtu.be/IwC0wAFk8kg?si=dacTyA1aGNdH_Vdf Her disciplinary action was discussed and we wondered where are the random drug tests, lie detector tests and psychological evaluations for these judges who handle families lives. #disbarjudgemaryperryTo Reach Theo Chino: theo@alliedra.com******** Supportshow(https://www.buymeacoffee.com/maryannpetri)Maryann Petri: dismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.comhttps://www.tiktok.com/@maryannpetriFacebook: https://www.youtube.com/@slamthegavelpodcasthostmar5536Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/guitarpeace/Pinterest: Slam The Gavel Podcast/@guitarpeaceLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/maryann-petri-62a46b1ab/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@slamthegavelpodcasthostmar5536 Twitter https://x.com/PetriMaryann*DISCLAIMER* The use of this information is at the viewer/user's own risk. In an unfolding story of crime and justice, the Michigan Attorney General's Office announced on June 30 that a man wanted for murder charges, who had managed to escape from custody, had been apprehended in Lincoln County, Montana. The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Chadwick Shane Mobley, was being transported back to Michigan, facing charges linked to a decade-old murder case. The case was re-ignited in 2022 after new DNA evidence allegedly linked Mobley to the fatal shooting of Andrea Eilber in 2011. The murder of Andrea Eilber, who was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head at a relative's residence in Lapeer, Michigan, has been a long-standing case on the books. Despite the initial discovery of DNA evidence at the scene, the case went cold as the testing did not produce any results. However, investigators revisited the evidence in 2022, leading them to Mobley. The charges brought against him include first-degree murder, felony murder, and felony firearm. The saga took an unexpected turn on July 9. As Mobley was being transported back to Michigan by U.S. Marshals, a stop at the Plains Town Pump gas station in Montana resulted in an audacious escape attempt. In a shocking lapse of security, Mobley somehow managed to free himself from his handcuffs and ankle shackles and disappeared from the area. The escape prompted an immediate alert from the Sanders County Sheriff's Office, warning local residents to secure their homes and vehicles and to keep a vigilant eye out for Mobley. The alert marked the beginning of a nearly 32-hour manhunt. Relief arrived on July 10, when at 6:08 p.m., Mobley was finally located and apprehended by the Sanders County Sheriff's Office and the Plains Police Department. Following the security lapse, officials in Sanders County announced that they would not be using a third-party service for Mobley's transport back to Michigan. However, the capture of Mobley is only one facet of an ongoing drama. Officials are also engaged in an extensive search for Michael Burham, another inmate who made a daring escape from the Warren County Prison in Pennsylvania. Burham, who was in custody on charges of arson and burglary, is also a person of interest in a separate homicide case. Further escalating the seriousness of his escape, Burham is accused of carjacking and kidnapping a couple in a desperate bid to evade capture. According to the Erie Times-News, Burham managed his escape by scaling the prison roof using a pull-up machine in the prison yard, and then employing sheets tied together to descend the prison walls. Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens added to the chilling narrative, describing Burham as a "self-taught survivalist with military training" and "very dangerous." As the search for Burham continues, officials believe that he may be receiving outside assistance. Authorities have reportedly discovered small stockpiles or campsites in the surrounding wooded areas, containing supplies that would assist him with a prolonged stay in the wilderness. The separate yet interconnected stories of Mobley and Burham present a sobering view of the ongoing battles in the fight for justice. As authorities continue to close in on Burham, they hope justice will soon be served in the cold case of Andrea Eilber. Want to listen to ALL our Podcasts Ad-Free? Jeffrey Westhoff has served as a film critic, feature writer, reporter, and copy editor in his career as a journalist. He wrote his first novel, The Boy Who Knew Too Much, while working as a freelance writer. He has finished his second novel, a spy thriller aimed at a younger audience, which he hopes to sell this year. He is working on his third novel, a sequel to his second book. Jeffrey grew up in Erie, Pa. As a teenager, he spent his Saturday mornings at the library and his Saturday nights at the movies. That love of reading and film prepared his future as a movie critic. Seeing Star Wars on its opening day in 1977 made him a movie lover, but it was a viewing of The Spy Who Loved Me that sealed Jeffrey's fate as a James Bond fan. His first published movie review appeared in the Erie Times-News while he was senior in high school. Jeffrey attended college at Marquette University in Milwaukee. He has worked in newspapers in Indiana and the Chicago suburbs. He took up ballroom dancing two years ago and last summer took first place in a national competition. He now lives with a grouchy cat in Chicago's northwest suburbs and works for a nonprofit. We talk about his work, writing, love of reading, James Bond and of course Spider-Man and Spider-Girl.
