This Day in Legal History: Ronald Reagan Fires Air Traffic ControllersOn August 5, 1981, President Ronald Reagan made a landmark decision to fire over 11,000 striking air traffic controllers. These federal employees, members of the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO), had initiated a strike on August 3, demanding better pay, shorter working hours, and improved working conditions. The strike posed significant risks to national air travel safety and disrupted the aviation system.President Reagan responded with a firm stance, citing the controllers' sworn oath not to strike against the government. In a nationally televised address on August 3, Reagan warned that if the controllers did not return to work within 48 hours, they would face termination. When the deadline passed without compliance, Reagan followed through on his ultimatum, effectively dismantling PATCO.The mass firings had profound implications for labor relations and federal employment policies in the United States. It underscored the government's commitment to maintaining uninterrupted air traffic services and demonstrated a strict enforcement of federal labor laws. This event marked a pivotal moment in the Reagan administration, showcasing its determination to curb union influence and assert governmental authority. The firings also led to long-term changes in air traffic control, with the federal government embarking on extensive recruitment and training programs to replace the dismissed controllers.A political action committee (PAC) supported by Elon Musk is under investigation in Michigan for potential legal violations. The Michigan Secretary of State's office confirmed the inquiry on Sunday. The Musk-backed America PAC has been collecting detailed voter information through its website, prompting scrutiny from state authorities. Although America PAC is a federal entity, Michigan officials are reviewing its actions to determine if state laws have been breached. If violations are found, the case may be referred to the Michigan Attorney General. The investigation is in its early stages, and specific focuses have not been disclosed.Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has previously stated he created a PAC to support candidates but denied making specific pledges. He has publicly supported Donald Trump and criticized various Democratic policies and initiatives.Neither the Michigan Attorney General's office nor America PAC has commented on the investigation. Musk also has not responded to requests for comment. The situation underscores concerns about how PACs use personal information collected from citizens, particularly in voter registration efforts.Musk-backed PAC under investigation for potential violations of Michigan laws | ReutersThomas V. Girardi, the famed attorney behind the landmark $333 million Pacific Gas & Electric settlement featured in the film "Erin Brockovich," faces a criminal trial for wire fraud in Los Angeles federal court. At 85, Girardi has been disbarred and bankrupt, charged with misappropriating $15 million in settlement funds intended for his clients over the past decade. This trial could mark the end of his distinguished legal career, tainted by allegations of unethical conduct and questionable ties to the state's lawyer disciplinary agency.Plaintiff's attorney Jay Edelson emphasizes the broader implications for the legal community, suggesting it could either prompt reform or be dismissed as an isolated incident. Girardi also faces additional fraud charges in Illinois, and numerous civil lawsuits. His once-celebrated career has become a cautionary tale of legal misconduct.Prosecutors allege that since 2010, Girardi diverted millions from his firm, Girardi Keese, for personal luxuries and to fund EJ Global, an entertainment company of his estranged wife, Erika Jayne. Girardi's defense argues that he was not responsible for financial mismanagement, attributing it to the firm's CFO, Christopher Kamon, whose trial has been separated. They also claim Girardi's cognitive decline impairs his ability to have intentionally defrauded clients.Girardi's case stands out not just for the legal drama but also for its celebrity connections, given his marriage to a reality TV star, influencing public and juror perception. The trial will focus on whether Girardi's cognitive state affects his culpability for the alleged crimes committed during his competent years. The court's ruling on his competency to stand trial, despite cognitive impairments, adds a layer of complexity to this high-profile case.Thomas Girardi's Legal Drama Approaches Its Hollywood EndingFormer Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. has sued GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen and his company, RC Ventures LLC, seeking to recover $47 million from alleged insider trading in 2022. Cohen, also the founder of Chewy Inc., allegedly used nonpublic information to trade Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) stock profitably between January and August 2022 while serving as a statutory director. The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, claims Cohen and RC Ventures made numerous profitable trades of BBBY securities, which were executed within a six-month period. Under Section 16(b) of the 1934 Securities Exchange Act, the company seeks to reclaim these short-swing profits because Cohen and RC Ventures owned more than 10% of BBBY's common stock and had access to inside information through their board appointees. This legal action is part of a broader effort by the bankrupt company and its plan administrator, Michael Goldberg, to recover funds for creditors. Goldberg has also filed a separate suit to reclaim $19 million in tax credits from a New Jersey agency and is pursuing over $300 million from Hudson Bay Capital Management for trading profits related to a failed financing plan.RC Ventures is GameStop's largest shareholder with an 8.7% stake. Bed Bath & Beyond, now operating as 20230930-DK-BUTTERFLY-1 Inc., is demanding monetary damages and legal costs. Cohen and RC Ventures have not commented on the lawsuit. The case is titled 20230930-DK-BUTTERFLY-I Inc. v. Cohen.GameStop CEO Sued by Bed Bath & Beyond for Insider Trading (1)The demand for transactional legal work is recovering after nearly three years of decline, according to the Thomson Reuters Institute's Law Firm Financial Index. The report shows a 2.2% increase in corporate transactional work, including contract drafting, real estate deals, and bank financing, in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the previous year. This rise contributed to a 2.4% overall increase in law firm demand.Additionally, U.S. law firms have seen a 6.6% increase in billing rates and a 5.3% rise in direct expenses, putting them in one of their strongest financial positions in the last decade. Profits per equity partner have increased by 8.8% over the past year. While transactional practices are rebounding, counter-cyclical practices like litigation and bankruptcy continue to drive significant demand. Litigation demand rose by 3.4% and bankruptcy by 2.4% in the same period. These trends provide law firms with greater stability by diversifying their revenue streams. However, the gains are not uniform across the industry. The Am Law 50 firms have not seen the same increase in litigation demand as other firms, and midsize firms have not experienced the same growth in transactional demand as Am Law 100 firms.Overall, the second quarter of 2024 has been positive for the legal sector, with significant improvements in demand and profitability.Law firm transactional work rebounds after 3-year slump, report says | Reuters This is a public episode. Green Oak Township Police says around 11 o'clock yesterday morning, the man came to a 7-Eleven store south of Brighton to meet up with who he thought was a 14-year-old girl. But it was actually a person dedicated to catching predators across Michigan. The man was arrested in the parking lot. He's now in jail as the case is reviewed. Convicted felon and Trump's self proclaimed “election law expert” likely just lied to a Nevada grand jury about his “advise” to the Trump Campaign, which could lead to new perjury charges against him, as the Michigan Attorney General also investigates whether they have been lied to also. Michael Popok analyzes Ken Chesebro's allergy to the truth, and why it could lead to him going to jail for a long time in various states as well as losing his plea deal in Georgia for a reduced sentence. The models shared that they've seen staff use racial slurs in front of them, and hairdressers are not shy when it comes to making derogatory and degrading comments about their hair. Two models said they discovered they were grossly underpaid compared to their white counterparts. (7:47) - It's the Amanda Seales Show, I'm Amanda Seales… And now it's time for a segment, we're calling “Voting and Venting." Voter apathy is a serious issue in the Black community for numerous reasons, like, ya know, voter disenfranchisement! But I personally believe that with more historical knowledge and current information, our belief in the political system can be restored. In this segment, we're gonna vent a little, but also weigh in on some important voting matters with experts. (21:57) - That's not my ministry with Rita Brent. (26:00) - Big Up - Goes to Lauryn Hill's fans for sticking beside her! Recently announced she is postponing her Fort Worth Tour Date To “Rest The Voice” due to vocal strain. She's had a history of showing up late to shows and performing for a brief time. Fans continue to buy tickets, support, and root her on. Side note: Beyonce did 50-11 shows domestically and internationally, while being a mom, dancing hard AF, dropping a perfume line, and didn't complain about vocal or body strain. Maybe Lauryn needs to be on her diet OR let the crowd sing the lyrics. Let Down - To Joe Smith and his wife for doing a live advertisement on Twitter, thinking we wouldn't figure it out! His longtime partner posted a video of him reacting in real time to her saying she has an Only Fans account. I'm your host, Sean Diller, and I want to thank you for joining me today. Here we go! DETROIT NEWS:16 false Trump electors face felony charges in MichiganCraig MaugerBeth LeBlancThe Detroit NewsLansing — Attorney General Dana Nessel has filed felony charges against 16 Republicans who signed a certificate falsely stating that Donald Trump won Michigan's 2020 presidential election, launching criminal cases against top political figures inside the state GOP.Each of the 16 electors have been charged with eight felony counts, including forgery and conspiracy to commit election law forgery, according to Nessel's office. The revelation capped six months of investigation and produced the most serious allegations yet in Michigan over the campaign to overturn Trump's loss to Democrat Joe Biden in 2020. Biden won Michigan by 154,000 votes or 3 percentage points, but Trump and his supporters maintained false claims that fraud swung the result. As part of the push to undermine Biden's victory, Trump supporters gathered inside the Michigan Republican Party headquarters on Dec. 14, 2020, and signed a certificate, claiming to cast the state's 16 electoral votes for Trump.Eventually the false certificate was sent to the National Archives and Congress. The document falsely claimed the Trump electors had met inside the Michigan State Capitol on Dec. 14. But that's not what happened. In fact Dec. 14 at the real state capitol is where the real electors met to cast their real electoral votes for the real winner, Joe Biden. The Michigan Attorney General said "The false electors' actions undermined the public's faith in the integrity of our elections and, we believe, also plainly violated the laws by which we administer our elections in Michigan.""My department has prosecuted numerous cases of election law violations throughout my tenure, and it would be malfeasance of the greatest magnitude if my department failed to act here in the face of overwhelming evidence of an organized effort to circumvent the lawfully cast ballots of millions of Michigan voters in a presidential election."Ryan Goodman, a law professor New York University School of Law, called the charges "a strong case" and noted the fake electors signed a sworn statement attesting "we convened and organized in the State Capitol.""In truth, they met (secretly) in GOP headquarters basement," Goodman wrote on Twitter. The felony complaints indicate the warrants for each of the electors were signed Thursday and Friday of last week, according to copies of the documents. The names and positions of the electors are available in news articles, and include several current and former state GOP committee chairs and local elected officials. Each of the 16 electors is charged with eight felonies: two counts of election law forgery; two counts of forgery; and one count each of uttering and publishing, conspiracy to commit forgery, conspiracy to commit election law forgery and conspiracy to commit forgery. Conspiracy to commit forgery carries one of the steepest penalties, punishable by up to 14 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The conspiracy charges allege the defendants worked with specific named others to falsely make a public record: which was the false certificate of votes of the 2020 fake electors from Michigan. The 16 fake electors convened in the basement of Michigan GOP headquarters on Dec. 14, 2020, and produced a certificate that claimed Trump had won the state's 16 electoral votes. An affidavit prepared by Michigan AG Nessel's office in support of the complaint indicated Republican staffers in interviews with investigators said that non-electors were blocked from entering the building and the electors themselves were required to surrender their cellphones to prevent any recording of the event. GOP elector Mayra Rodriguez would later tell the Jan. 6 Select Committee that Trump campaign aide Shawn Flynn was present and spoke to the fake electors at the site.Attorney Ian Northon attempted to deliver a manila envelope similar to the size of the false electoral vote certificate to the Michigan Senate, claiming it contained the Republican electoral votes, the filing said. The U.S. National Archives and U.S. Senate Archives reported receiving a copy of the false certificate as well. Michigan election law bans someone from knowingly making or publishing a false document "with the intent to defraud."Each defendant, or their attorneys, has been notified of the charges, and the court will provide each with a date to appear in Ingham County district court for an arraignment. In a statement, AG Nessel's office also said "This remains an ongoing investigation, and the Michigan Department of Attorney General has not ruled out charges against additional defendants," Nessel's office said.YIKES: 14 years for conspiracy to commit forgery. And I'm not a practicing attorney, but I would bet anyone connected to Rudy Giuoini, Sydney Powell, Lindsey Graham, and some of these other goofballs could be looking at conspiracy charges as well. Because the tough thing about conspiracy crimes - so here it's conspiracy to commit election forgery and conspiracy to commit forgery - so the tough part if you're a defendant, is that once you talk with another person about the plan, and anyone involved takes even the smallest step toward moving on it, the crime of conspiracy is complete. You'll be found guilty if the prosecutor can prove it. MISSOURI INDEPENDENT: Something in the water.BY: ALLISON KITE - JULY 17, 2023 4:40 PM A joint investigation by The Independent and MuckRock. In 2021, Missouri environmental regulators warned the federal government that radioactive contamination of groundwater from a uranium processing site near St. Louis was not improving despite cleanup efforts, according to documents reviewed by The Missouri Independent and MuckRock.Officials with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources wrote a letter to the U.S. Department of Energy in May 2021, responding to the agency's five-year review of its cleanup efforts at a Weldon Spring site where uranium was refined during the Cold War.While the radioactive waste and contaminated debris from the uranium processing site have been contained, Missouri regulators said contamination in the surrounding groundwater wasn't getting better. The letter, which has not been reported publicly, is the latest example of Missouri officials pushing the federal government to do more to protect the health of St. Louis-area residents near the litany of World War II and Cold War-era nuclear sites in the region. A six-month investigation by The Independent, MuckRock and The Associated Press found that federal agencies and private companies, for decades, downplayed concerns about radiological contamination or failed to investigate it fully at sites in St. Louis and St. Charles counties.St. Louis and surrounding areas played a key role in the development of the first atomic bomb during World War II. Uranium processed in downtown St. Louis was used in the first sustained nuclear reaction in Chicago. After the war, Mallinckrodt, which operated the downtown plant, started similar operations at a new facility on Missouri Highway 94 just north of the Missouri River. The more than 200-acre site has been contaminated for decades by radium, thorium and uranium as well as dangerous non-radioactive chemicals from its use to manufacture explosives and process uranium ore. The Weldon Spring plant was demolished and the debris buried, along with residue leftover from uranium processing, in a 41-acre containment cell covered with rock. The containment cell, the highest point in St. Charles County, is accessible to the public and has a monument to the communities displaced by the war effort and information on the cleanup effort at the top.Closer to the Missouri River, a quarry the federal government used to store radioactive waste was also contaminated. It's separated from the main site but part of the same cleanup and monitoring effort.Remediation of the plant is complete, but monitoring has shown uranium contamination is not decreasing. The Environmental Protection Agency shared some of the state's concerns that the groundwater monitoring network was insufficient and the groundwater is not projected to be restored in a reasonable timeframe. Beyond that, the state says, the extent of the contamination hasn't been sufficiently defined, meaning it could be more widespread than the Department of Energy knows based on its sampling. The federal sampling program, the state argues, is inadequate.Missouri regulators, in their letter, repeatedly corrected the Department of Energy when the federal agency said uranium levels were falling in groundwater wells at the site.In a response to the state, the federal government said it would revise its conclusion that the remedy was working. MISSOURI INDEPENDENT: Pulled out of retirementNew law tackles Missouri teacher shortage by encouraging retirees to return to classroomGov. Mike Parson signed legislation last week that allows educators to return to work without losing retirement benefitsBY: ANNELISE HANSHAW - JULY 13, 2023 9:00 AMMissouri's school districts are struggling - not just with a teacher shortage but a scarcity of bus drivers, custodians and other essential personnel. In the most recent school year, teachers with inadequate teaching certification taught over 8% of Missouri public school classes, according to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The crisis has led larger school districts to consider adopting four-day school weeks to address teacher retention and recruitment problems.Sen. Rusty Black, R-Chillicothe, has been working on one way to address the problem for four years. And last week, the governor signed a bill into law, set to take effect Aug. 28, that will allow retired public-school staff to work full-time for a district for up to four years without losing retirement benefits.Prior to Black's legislation, teachers and non-certificated staff could work full-time for only two years post-retirement without losing benefits. The law also addresses other positions, like bus drivers and janitors. Retired school employees can work in positions that don't require a teaching certificate for more hours. CAPITOL NEWS ILLINOIS:UPDATED: Cash bail will end in Illinois as state supreme court rules the SAFE-T Act is constitutionalTuesday, July 18, 2023By JERRY NOWICKICapitol News Illinoisjnowicki@capitolnewsillinois.comSPRINGFIELD – A landmark criminal justice reform that eliminates cash bail in Illinois is constitutional, the state's Supreme Court ruled Tuesday, paving the way for the change to take effect Sept. 18. The 5-2 decision – handed down on partisan lines – means that an individual's wealth will no longer play a role in whether they are incarcerated while awaiting trial. Judges can still order someone to be detained as they await trial, but the new system will instead be based on an offender's level of risk of reoffending or fleeing prosecution. With the new law's implementation, Illinois will become the first state in the U.S. to fully eliminate cash bail – and all provisions of the SAFE-T Act criminal justice reform will have taken full effect.Short for Safety, Accountability, Fairness and Equity-Today, the wide-ranging measure was an initiative of the Illinois Legislative Black Caucus that passed in the wake of a nationwide reckoning with racism in the criminal justice system following the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer. The act reformed police training, certification and use-of-force standards, expanded detainee rights, and gave the attorney general's office authority to investigate alleged civil rights violations by law enforcement. It also requires body cameras at all police departments by 2025. Some larger departments are already required to use body cameras under the law.State Rep. Justin Slaughter, a Chicago Democrat who sponsored the measure in the House, said the pretrial detention overhaul addresses an “overly punitive criminal justice system” for impoverished Illinoisans – especially those in Black and brown communities. It's a system that often forces innocent individuals to take plea deals – and to accept a criminal record – to obtain their freedom when they don't have money to post bail.“So this is not about being tough on crime or soft on crime,” he said. “This is about being smart on crime, reworking our system, streamlining our system to address those higher-level, more violent, dangerous alleged offenses. It's not about having someone unnecessarily sit in jail.”While opponents of the new law have argued it will strain smaller court systems and hinder judicial discretion, the lawsuit centered on the meaning of two mentions of the word “bail” in the Illinois Constitution, and the interplay between branches of government. The Supreme Court ruled on a set of consolidated cases filed against Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul, Gov. JB Pritzker and the state's Democratic legislative leaders by state's attorneys and sheriffs from over 60 counties. The lawsuit specifically cited Article VIII of the state constitution, which states, “all persons” accused of crimes “shall be bailable by sufficient sureties.” Any changes to the language, the lawsuit argued, would require a constitutional amendment to be approved by voters. While a Kankakee County judge ruled with the state's attorneys and sheriffs late last year, Chief Justice Mary Jane Theis, writing for the majority, said the lower court misinterpreted the state constitution.. She wrote, “The Illinois Constitution does not mandate that monetary bail is the only means to ensure criminal defendants appear for trials or the only means to protect the public,”Theis' majority opinion also said that the pretrial release provisions “expressly take crime victims into account.”“As we have already mentioned, those provisions require a court to consider the ‘nature and seriousness of the real and present threat to the safety of any person or persons that would be posed by the defendant's release,' including crime victims and their family members,” she wrote. The pretrial detention changes – often referred to as the Pretrial Fairness Act, or PFA – will create a “presumption” in favor of pretrial release, meaning “the state bears the burden of establishing a defendant's eligibility for pretrial detention,” Theis wrote.Advocates say the intent of that provision is to divert lower-level nonviolent offenders from pretrial incarceration while giving judges authority to detain individuals accused of more serious crimes if they are deemed dangerous or at risk of fleeing prosecution.Another facet of the reform entitles defendants to a more intensive first appearance in court. During that appearance, defendants will now have a right to legal representation and prosecutors can detail their reasons for continued detention. The new hearings replace standard bail hearings, which often last less than five minutes and end with a judge deciding the conditions of release, including how much money the defendant must post to be released.Advocates for the bail reform have noted that it gives judges greater authority to detain individuals accused of crimes such as domestic battery and violations of orders of protection prior to trial than does prior law.Kaethe Morris Hoffer, the executive director of the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation, spoke in favor of the reform at a virtual news conference Tuesday. “I want to be clear – safety and interests and voices of people who have endured rape and violence in the sex trade have never been prioritized when the criminal legal system is asked to make decisions about the liberty of people who are accused of serious crimes of violence. This changes that.”While the new law directs law enforcement officers to cite and release anyone accused of a crime below a Class A misdemeanor, they would maintain discretion to make an arrest if the person is a threat or if making the arrest is necessary to prevent further lawbreaking.Lake County State's Attorney Eric Rinehart was one of two state's attorneys in Illinois who backed the SAFE-T Act alongside Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx. He noted that many smaller jurisdictions will lose revenue from cash bail payments when the system is eliminated – a point that reform advocates have repeatedly noted shows a flaw in the system.Capitol News Illinois is a nonprofit, nonpartisan news service covering state government. It is distributed to hundreds of print and broadcast outlets statewide. It is funded primarily by the Illinois Press Foundation and the Robert R. You heard that right. BY: ARIANA FIGUEROA - JULY 14, 2023 10:41 AM WASHINGTON — The $39 billion in debt relief will come through fixes to mismanagement of the agency's income-driven repayment plans. Many long-time borrowers, including those who had been making payments for 20 years or more, were denied relief they were eligible for under the repayment plans. This happens when qualified payments were made but aren't being counted accurately. U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said in a statement.“For far too long, borrowers fell through the cracks of a broken system that failed to keep accurate track of their progress towards forgiveness,” The Department of Education has already begun to notify those 804,000 borrowers of their forgiveness, and within 30 days their debts will be wiped out.The plan includes borrowers with Direct Loans or Federal Family Education Loans held by the department who have reached a forgiveness threshold specified by the department.Cardona said “By fixing past administrative failures, we are ensuring everyone gets the forgiveness they deserve, just as we have already done for public servants, students who were cheated by their colleges, veterans and other borrowers with permanent disabilities”A 2022 NPR investigation found numerous problems with the agency's handling of IDR plans, which are meant to help low-income borrowers. Loan servicers failed to keep track of borrowers' progress toward forgiveness and payment histories were not properly transferred from one loan servicer to another. In January of this year, The Department of Education announced plans to overhaul the income-driven repayment plan.Under the new plan, monthly payments would decline to 5% of a borrower's income — down from 10% — and the repayment timeline for loan forgiveness would be decreased to 10 years from 20 or 25 if the initial loan is less than $12,000.The announcement Friday followed the Supreme Court's decision in late June to strike down the Biden administration's student debt relief program that would have canceled up to $20,000 in student loan debt for some borrowers.Under the Biden administration, the Department of Education has canceled about $116 billion in student loan debt for borrowers who were misled by for-profit institutions, borrowers with disabilities and those with loans in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.Welp, that's it for me. On today's episode, we are going to catch you up to speed with all of the wildest things that have been happening over the last week or so, including Donald Trump receiving a letter from Biden's Department of Justice saying that they will arrest and indict him over January 6th. This will be the third. Simultaneous, like there's three different legal cases happening to him at the same exact time, and I think at this point it's quite obvious what's going on, and I will talk about that. Trump also did a town hall meeting last night with Fox News and Hannity, which we will go over some of the clips from his truth social along with his response to this this letter that he received. Then, oh, but the first thing we're gonna do is start your morning with a little treat. So you'll hear you'll hear that and I say Morning cuz that's when I'm, listen, I'm doing this. Anyways then we will go into some of the other. Candidates who are for the Republican party. So you know, Vivek Gospel, AMI. I believe that's how you pronounce his name. Who I believe is a serious contender or at least should be. And I have a pretty wild clip of him at a meeting where somebody storms in and starts yelling stuff. And the way that he deescalates the situation is just a masterclass on how to public speak and how to bring people together. So I will show you that then. We will head over to the next topic, which is going to be a biotech company out of Silicon Valley, which is claiming that they are going to be able to create babies out of nothing. Out of nothing. No mom, no dad, and we will talk about the horrifying implications of that. That is what we're going to cover. So stick around. First thing I need to do is hit that subscribe button. Leave a five star review. All right. I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Leave a five star review, then head over to the ck austin adams.stack.com and. I'm starting to be more active on Twitter. Twitter released it, and I think I talked about this last episode, a creator's fund that I think is pretty awesome. They're paying people pretty legitimate money, so that would be an awesome addition to the podcast. So go head over to the Austin J. Adams on Twitter and follow me there and everywhere else. Thank you guys so much for listening, and let's jump into it. The Adams archive. The very first topic that we're gonna discover today, like I said, start your day the right way with some good American music, which comes from Jason Aldean, which has been a pretty controversial song for some reason, to say that you shouldn't riot and loot and light things on fire. And if you did that in a small town instead of the city like Seattle, that you would get met with just as much force from the individuals in that town. So. Pretty cool platform. Pretty cool song. Let's go ahead and read this article, then we'll actually listen to it and I'll give you my reaction. It says, and this comes from the post-millennial legendary country singer, Jason Aldean has defended himself against accusations of promoting lynching and racism following the removal of the music video from his song. Try that in a small town from cmt. So, Country music, television, country music, television, you know, country music being the only thing that Republicans and the g you know the, right side of the political spectrum seem to have any say in culture With pulled this video because of. Apparently he mentions lynching, which he doesn't at all, and apparently he's racist for this, saying that you shouldn't root and root loot and riot. Well, what I think is racist is that you inherently think that him saying that people shouldn't riot or loot has to do with a certain race. Why would you say that's the most racist thing out of all of this? So Aldean tweeted in the past 24 hours, I have been accused of releasing a pro lynching song, a song that has been out since May, and was subject to the comparison that I direct quote, was not too pleased with the Nationwide Black Lives Matter protest. These references are not only meritless but dangerous. There is not a single. Lyric in a song that references race or points to it. And there isn't a single video clip that isn't real news footage. And while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music, this goes to far. As so many have pointed out, I was present at Route 91 where many lives were lost and our community recently suffered. Another heartbreaking tragedy. No one, including me wants to continue to see senseless headlines or families ripped apart. Try that in a small town for me, refers to the feeling of a community that I had grown up in. Where we took our, we took care of our neighbors regardless of differences of, or backgrounds or belief because they were our neighbors and that was above any differences. My political views have never been something I've hidden from, and I know that a lot of us in this country don't agree on how we get back to a sense of normalcy, where we go at least a day without a headline that keeps us up all night. But the desire for it too, but the desire for it too, that's what this song is about. Pretty crazy. So that was the tweet from Jason Aldean regarding the song. It says, Aldean expressed his disappointment over the smears considering the fact that he had that the track had been available since May. The lyrics of his song's first verse include lines such as sucker punch somebody on the sidewalk, carjack an old lady at a red light. Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store. You think that it's cool? Well act a fool if you like. Aldean continues and will listen to it right now. And in the background of all of this is just the news clips. Install just more news footage. Again, nothing inherently racist about this. The O I will reiterate my point. The only thing racist about this is that the people who are saying that he's racist for doing this, and majority of the people at all of these protests were white, at least in the videos that he's showing. So what does that have to do with anything? What does that have to do with race? What does that have to do with lynching? Oh, so one of the clips, which I love is there's a guy who comes into Rob a liquor store, and there's this big old country dude sitting at the door and he just swings on him. And stops this robbery from happening. And the guy was allegedly the guy in that video was a marine, an ex-marine veteran. And just, like drops. The guy goes to grab the gun from him gets the gun pointed at him. Big old country dude. And just swings on him. What a great clip to perfectly show exactly what Jason Aldean is talking about, right? You get these people who were raised differently, right? They weren't raised in the city where there's, you know you, get to go walk down the street and, act a fool without the police interjecting or, where people don't care about where they grew up or they don't have. Pride in the stores that are around them, right? That it's a little bit different in a small town. And he's right. He's absolutely right. All right, that's all I'll play for you. Sorry for interjecting, but I have to, because of fair use laws, so couldn't just play the whole thing through there, so at least it'll gimme a chance to hit back at YouTube. So, by the way, I now have all of the software and the hardware. To be able to get everything back up on YouTube. So the video is up on YouTube right now. Go look at it and you can watch the video with me. You can see my reaction to this video. And you can follow along with the video on the screen again. So there was about six months there where my computer died out on me, had to buy a brand new Mac. Book again, and then, so I went back to my old one and I couldn't use the software that allows me to do everything. That looks awesome. So go to YouTube, the Adams Archive, follow me there. You can watch and read the articles with me. I'll put 'em up on the screen. You'll be able to watch that music video with me for the future as long as this one stays with me, which will. Knock on wood. Alright, so the next article that we're gonna look at here is going to be that Trump received a target letter from Biden's Department of Justice saying that they will arrest and indict him over January 6th. You know the thing that happened, I don't know, two and a half years ago, and again, this will be the three simultaneous legal proceedings against Trump. At the same time we have the Stormy Daniels case. The prostitute that allegedly a lawyer paid off through funds that were siphoned through some weird way that they're trying to get him for no reason. Then you have the the Stormy Daniel Case. Then you have the the secret documents that were at Mar-a-Lago, that the FBI raided his house over you know, the same FBI who while, simultaneously going after Trump were also. Covering up for, Joe Biden, right. Making sure that Joe Biden did not have to answer for his bio labs in Ukraine, that his son pedaled his influence to the same FBI who covered the tracks of the. Cocaine debacle where, you know, I wonder how many meth heads or crack heads there were in the White House at any given time, and you know how many of them had the last name Biden which they now dropped the case for, which I just can't imagine why. Pretty wild stuff. So the FBI is actively covering up for one president and simultaneously going after the previous president, which again has never happened in history besides literally Watergate and the pre seating president. Or the president after pardoned him even though they were on opposite sides of the political spectrum. So never happens. So let's go ahead and read this article and see what they have to say about it. This says, Trump receives a target letter from Biden's Department of Justice, which says that they will arrest and indict him over January 6th. It says, Trump released a statement on Monday saying that he was notified on Sunday that the Biden's Department of Justice considers him a target of the January 6th grand jury. We'll go ahead and read Trump's response here. But it says, prosecutor Jack Smith is already prosecuting Trump for what the Department of Justice now claims is obstruction of justice. After claiming that Trump interfered with documents in his possession that were under a Department of Justice subpoena, Trump asserts fully that any documents that remained in his possession after his term as president were rightfully in his possession per the Presidential Records Act, which states that a president can determine for themselves. What documents are personally theirs and what should go to the national archives? Trump also faces prosecution in New York on charges that he falsified business records, which is the Stormy Daniels case. The Manhattan da Alvin Bragg has charged Trump with felony counts of this usually misdemeanor charge Bragg, that there was a secondary crime in which Trump was planning to engage after after the alleged records, falsification brag has refused to disclose what the second alleged crime is. Imagine that. So again, being completely and utterly weaponized against a sitting or a former president. Just three years ago, the FBI answered to Donald Trump, and now they're actively going after him. The Department of Justice is actively going after him, simultaneously covering up for this man who can't even hold his head up, which we'll see in just a second when we watch some of the clips that were from the town hall and what Donald Trump posted on his truth. But first, let's go ahead and read through Trump's response to this and see what Trump has to say about this. And it says, Donald Trump says, wow. On Sunday night while I was with my family, having just arrived from Turning Point event in Florida where I won the straw poll against the other Republican candidates with 85.7%. With all polls showing me leading in the Republican party by a very substantial number, almost everyone predicting that I'll be the Republican nominee for President. And as I am leading Democrat Joe Biden in the polls by a lot horrifying news for our country has been given to me by our, by my attorneys. Deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden's, department of Justice, sent a letter. Again, it was Sunday night, stating that I am a target of the January 6th grand jury investigation and giving me a very short four days to res to report to the grand jury, which almost always means an arrest, an indictment. So now Joe Biden's, attorney General Mayor Garland, who I turned down for the United States Supreme Court. In retrospect, based on his corrupt and unethical actions, a very wise decision by me. He says, together with Joe Biden's, department of Justice or Injustice, he says, have effectively issued a third indictment in the rest of Joe Biden's. Number one, political opponent, which is crazy if we heard about this going on in Russia, like if there was an upcoming Russia election and Vladimir Putin was just, had the KGB running through this person's house and, finding anything and everything that they can do to put him under the judicial system and, try to throw him in jail. We would think that's a, that sounds like a third world country, but it's not. It's in the United States and it's happening right now before our eyes, and nobody's doing anything about it. Nobody's protesting, nobody's, you know, lighting cars on fire, right, because, The violent side of the political spectrum is the left, as Jason Aldean just beautifully showed us, says together. Who is largely do nothing like this has ever happened in our country before. Or even close, they illegally spied on my campaign, attacked me with a totally fake dossier that was funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign at the dnc impeached me twice. I won. He said they failed on the Mueller witch hunt. No collusion. They failed on the Russia, hoax, the 51 intelligence agents fraud, the FBI Twitter files, the Department of Justice, Facebook censorship, and every other scam imaginable. But on top of that, they have now effectively indicted me three times. The Department of Justice staffed and runs the DA's office in Manhattan with a probable forthcoming in Atlanta where the Department of Justice are in strict and possible legal coordination with the District Attorney whose record on murder and other violent crime is abysmal. This witch hunt is all about election and interference and a complete and total political weaponization of law enforcement. Donald Trump says, It is very sad and dark period for our nation. And I don't disagree. I, think that we are completely understating as a society, the implications of this when, we have a when we have a. System that allows somebody to actively weaponize every single every single security force. Every single p portion of the Department of Justice that can be weaponized is being weaponized against Donald Trump consistently on a daily basis. They're scrubbing everything to see what they can do actively while we are coming up on an election in, what, 16 months? Whatever it is. Pretty wild. And again, it just seems like a third world country to me. There's no reason that, we should be we should be seeing this free this free and fair elections. This is not a fair election. Donald Trump went on to tweet witch hunt crooked. Joe Biden and his injustice department want to indict and arrest his presumed political opponent who is leading him in the polls in the second upcoming presidential election of 2024. Such a thing as never happened in our country before and in the middle of the campaign election interference and prosecutor prosecutorial misconduct again, I don't disagree. And then Donald Trump went on to have a political town hall with Sean Hannity last night. And here are some of the clips, however not before having a. Discussion or a, truth that he posted of a video. So Donald Trump posted a video of Joe Biden seemingly falling asleep in a political discussion to absolutely no one's surprise. And here is the clip. Let's go ahead and listen in. Yes, what we brought. Now this is the this is the Israeli president and this, president sits there and is looking at Joe Biden and then looks at the camera and probably presumably somebody behind the camera, like is this guy about to die? The look on his face. And then he, you know, we we we brought together the pol, political opponents in Palestine and and aqua and excuse me, sir, I speak English better than you. And it's like for many people that Joe's talking with, not their first language. And, these, you know, the president. Of Is of Israel. The Israeli president is sitting in front of him, looking at the people behind him, wondering if he's about to die or fall asleep right before his eyes. And so Donald Trump says, what transcript, please? What the hell did this man just say? Alright. The next video that comes up within the The videos from the town hall. Here we go again. It says it's election interference, and this has to do with what we just discussed. Again, this is up on the YouTube so you can watch along and here we go. That's where this rally was going on or this town hall. All right, so there's your first clip. Now, the next one that we'll watch. Is coming out of the same town hall and it says, make America great again. That's never been more, there's never been more spirit than we have right now. And finally, There's one more that says America first. Now, this whole town hall should be, is very likely on their, YouTube by now. It was replayed it was on at nine o'clock at night, and then they replayed it at 2:00 AM here's the last clip that he posted from it. All right, so here's my thoughts on the upcoming election. I, there's now obviously Donald Trump is the front runner of the Republican party. I respect that. Voted for Donald Trump two times, and however and I, do believe he'll be the front runner of the Republican party. But there are some legitimate candidates on both sides that I believe are far more unifying, right. I agree with Donald Trump on most of almost all of his policies, right? When you look down on the sheet of paper and you look at the things that he believes and what he wants to push and what he's done, especially one of the favorite, my favorite things that he did one of the most impactful things that he did that we're seeing the effects of still and will see the effects of for a very long time is the Supreme Court. Picking, I believe two of the candidates for the Supreme Court now, and they're making these landmark decisions. The, overturning Roe v. Wade overturning affirmative action overturning all of these non constitutional things that have been pushed through through legislation and, have never been challenged in this way, have gone to the Supreme Court and, had decisions overturned. Now, the problem that I have with the Trump campaign, The problem that I have with Donald Trump being president is not his policies. Which again, is maybe the wrong way to look at it, but you have to understand the president of the United States is a figurehead almost as much as the king and queen of England, right? It is. It is a celebrity position. It is the, which is what makes Joe Biden's position in this country so egregious is that. You are, your job is literally to make us look good to, to show exude power and exude intelligence, and exude presidential ness. And Joe Biden doesn't check a single freaking box. He can't even stay awake. Can't even stay awake in an interview with another president. So Donald Trump does those things very well, but he does not unify our country in any way. And so I think there are, he divides it. He further divides it, and that's through divisive speech. And isn't, it's intentional. And he's explosive and he's entertaining and he's hilarious and he's a great comic and, he's very powerful in his speech and he's probably one of the best sales people in history. His speech patterns are amazing. His ability to, to just whitly push back on people and just demolish them in debates is un unbelievable. But we see people like Ron DeSantis just withering away into the wind. Now, I don't. Want Ron DeSantis. I don't think that Ron DeSantis is a tough enough opponent to go up against the Democratic party, nacho Biden, the Democratic Party, or Donald Trump. But I do think that in a reasonable variation of our reality of this simulation, Vivek, gosh, GWA Swami and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Are the most reasonable, most unifying candidates that we could have in the 2024 election. And I would. Love nothing more to see a more unified country at this point. I believe both of them are very presidential, they're very intelligent. They speak up against the institutions. The, way that they have been unifying instead of dividing is incredible. And I think in a reasonable society, those two men would represent our country. I don't think it's gonna happen, but to me that would be ideal. So let me show you a little bit about Vivek. And this comes from first from C Nnn, which says, see contentious moment between protestor and g o p presidential candidate. And it's Vivek Rama Swami Vivek, Rama Swami. All right. There's how you pronounce it. Sorry, Vivek. So here's the clip. And he's speaking at a, some type of rally. It's in a small room much larger than what Joe Biden was speaking to during his presidential election where he got more votes in the history of man than any other candidate ever. But here we go. Let's watch it. So she says, I shouldn't have to carry a baby of somebody who raped me. Republicans are raping women. Donald Trump is a raper or whatever she just said about Donald Trump. That's what it sounded like to me. We can go back and listen to it to verify, but that's what happens. This lady comes in swinging haymakers and Vivek rama Swami completely disarms her and she said, respect all women. And Vivek goes yes, Respect all women. Come up here, settle down. Let's talk about it. And, just all class from Vive. Let's go ahead and finish this out and listen to what he had to respond. Protect our women and people are jumping up in front of her. Very contentious. Okay, so again, don't agree with everything he says, including that statement but, I love how he disarmed her. I love how he said, yes, I agree with you. Protect all women. Right? And obviously what he said is how it is now. So it's not like he's changing. Legislation is state to state. They can determine that's what Roe v Wade did which. There should be more power to the states. However, I think abortion, you know the, I've already done a whole episode on this, but abortion, it falls in within the purview of the Golden Rule. If you wouldn't want it happening to you, you shouldn't allow it to happen on a national scale, which includes, I don't know, ending somebody's life. But my point is that all class from Vive Ramaswamy, I just wanna make sure I'm saying his name again. Vivek. Ramaswamy. All right. But all class, the way he disarmed her, the way he unified the room, the way they were clapping for her when they went out, I can't imagine how that would've went with Donald Trump. I can't imagine how that would've went in, almost any singular other rally. But Vivek just full of class steps up and says, come up here, talk to us. It's the freedom of speech. I'm glad you did. So you're very brave. Like I said, all class. And here's his response to what he said there. Feedback. What a response. I don't really know. I don't know why I'm here. Look at that. Affirming positive. Complimenting him. Incredible. Again, positive. And she's a former Donald Trump voter. Wow. Wow, 37 years old. Extremely intriguing candidate. And, again, I think in a more sensible world that's what we would be seeing from. Our presidential election was an RFK Vivek Ramaswamy ticket, and I honestly support the idea of both of them running. I, love the idea of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. In the way that he's been speaking out about vaccines. I don't tend to agree with him on some of the topics, but I would love to see a laundry list of things of people or of things that, that the beliefs and, the policies. Because again, like I said, I believe I, agree with Donald Trump on almost all of his policies. Vivek as well as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. I'm not a hundred percent on what their positions are on everything, so I would love to see a, laundry list of them just checking boxes, which side they're on. But just the, way that the president is now a figurehead, I believe these two people would be very well suited for it. And, it's very encouraging to me that Vivek Ramis Swami is 37 years old, like only. Three years, two years past the, age in which you need to be able to even run. He's a successful entrepreneur from my understanding. I would be interested to see what, where his family actually comes from and what they did and what, type of money he came from. But overall, love the way that he speaks. Love the way that he affirms people love the way that he was complimenting everybody and, the love the way that he unified that room when that woman was, shouting. Now the last. The last thing that we're gonna discuss today comes from a Silicon Valley biotech company. Actually, before we touch on that, let's touch on this. In Michigan. In Michigan, there was a, lemme see, lemme pull this article up for you. There was now 16 people indicted for some sort of election conspiracy. And let's go ahead and watch this. It says, the Michigan Attorney General charges false electors over efforts to overturn the 2020 election. So allegedly what these guys did are women, men and women, people of the world, since we can't say men and women anymore. Allegedly what they did is they made fake electoral votes. They acted as if they were a part of the electoral college, and then they. Put these electoral votes up through and now they've been found out, and so they're being called conspirators. This is what it says. This is coming from NBC Michigan. Attorney General Dan Nael announced Tuesday that she has filed charges against 16 people who signed paperwork falsely claiming that President Donald Trump had won the 2020 election as a part of his scheme to overturn the results. Presidents are technically voted in by states of slate of electors from each state who cast their votes for the candidates selected by their state's popular votes in December, 2020 as Donald Trump tried to overturn the results of the election. Yeah, okay. His allies readied. Alternative slates of electors in several states. They appear to be the first charges filed against faked electors. The announcement came the same day. Trump said he has been notified that he is the target of an investigation by a Washington based grand jury examining January 6th, 2021 riot in efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Maybe they should. Look at the other side for that, and we'll talk about that in just a second. Especially in Michigan, the 16 people being charged in Michigan allegedly met in abatement of the state's Republican party headquarters and signed multiple certificates claiming that they were the duly elected and qualified electors for president and vice president of the United States of America for the state of Michigan. Nassau said in the recording of remarks, That was a lie. She said they were. They weren't the duly elected and qualified electors, and each of the defendants knew it. She said some of the electors tried to deliver the false documents to the state Senate, but were turned away. The documents were later sent to the US Senate in the National Archives with the intent that Vice President Pence would overturn the results of the election using the FA fake or false electoral slate. Nussle said that the FA false electors are being charged with eight felony counts each including forgery, and could face up to 14 years in prison. The false elector's actions undermine the public's faith and the integrity of our elections not only violated the spirit of the laws enshrining and defending our democracy, but we believe also plainly violated the laws by which we administer our elections in Michigan and peacefully peaceably transfer power in America. So, Now, I don't agree if this is true, that you should be able to do that, and if you tried to, maybe you should have some form of legal action against you. Absolutely. But I also think that if we're going to charge people with crimes when it comes to the election, maybe we should charge the people who are boarding up the windows, who are the poll watchers, so that people from the, general public, the people who have to be underneath this president, the people who put their votes in for the electoral college. We're boarding up the windows, we're kicking out G o p Republicans from being able to actually watch and make sure that it was a fair election. Maybe you should go after those people. Maybe you should go after, I dunno, the 14 or 1210 people from the FBI who were trying to frame two measly people alongside the, Governor Whitmer in Michigan for kidnapping her. All in an attempt to make her a viable ticket member for Joe Biden when he ran or will run again. Governor Whitmer is the worst. She's the worst. So maybe you should go after those people. Maybe you shouldn't be going after, you know, maybe you should go after these people. I don't know the background of this. I don't think that you should be able to do that, and that should obviously have some legal ramifications. But if you're gonna do that, There was a lot of legal illegal stuff going on in Michigan, including all the people, you know, pulling up the curtains on their desks and pulling out boxes, including in Michigan, the big UPS, freight looking truck that came in with boxes upon boxes of votes that were pushed in at like two 30 in the morning. Maybe you should look at those people too. But they won't. All right. Last up. We will now discuss a company out of Silicon Valley who is alleging that they will now be able to print babies out of nothing. You don't need an egg, you don't need a sperm. All you need is stem cells. You know, the things that people, you know, or blood culture and, how much let's, look at it. This company is called conception. They're a biotech company out of Silicon Valley, and their goal is to make it so that we no longer are useful in reproduction as humans. That's terrifying, and I'll tell you why in just a second. This is one of the most terrifying technologies that could happen. Absolutely the most, if not one of the most, if not the most terrifying technologies that could happen. And not because of the technology itself, but because what the technology would allow people to do. So again, this company is called Conception. Their website is conception.bio, so you can check it out and the right on their website, as I'm showing you, it says Turning stem cells into human eggs. It goes on to say that we wanna help parents have kids, and we aspire to make future generations healthier. We are working on a technology called In Vitro Gametogenesis that would give women the opportunity to have children weld into their forties and fifties, eliminate barriers for couples suffering from infertility, and potentially allow male to male couples to have biological children. Long-term, this technology could be a critical platform allowing for widespread genetic screening of embryos, if proven safe. It could even eliminate and reduce the risk of devastating diseases for future generations such as Alzheimer's, heart disease, and many different types of cancers. This could become one of the most important technologies ever created. They said, how about the most terrifying technology ever created? And let me tell you why. I believe this is one of the worst things that could happen to humanity. The first reason being, if you can print babies at will, who do you think is funding this institution? Who do you think is funding this company? The same institutions, the same people, the same elites that are funding every other organization. They're not just pulling this money out of thin air and doing it out of the goodness of their heart. The people who will have access to this also have islands and international waters, and they will take this technology. They will put hundreds, if not thousands, if you've learned anything from the Sound of Freedom and all of the other things that have come out about child human trafficking and sex slavery. Without even getting that far into it, what does that do for the child, right? Like if there's, we don't know the implications of this. We don't know what will happen. We don't know 60 years from now if there's gonna be an arm growing out the top of the, baby's head. We don't know how this works. We don't know what this is gonna do to their nervous system. We don't know what this is gonna do to their Dorin system. We don't know. So why would we do this and why would we think that we could play God? It doesn't make any sense to me. So, Here's the biggest problem with this. You have all these elites who have islands and international waters who don't answer to anybody who have unlimited amounts of money and an appetite for children. So when you can print babies at will and those babies have no protectors behind them, the problem right now in the child sex trafficking industry and, for these people who are gross and disgusting and have that appetite is that they have to go through the parents, they have to go through strong men. They have to go through unbelievably strong mothers who are protective and love their children, but when you disconnect them, there, there is a statistical difference in the outcomes of people who adopt children. So when we don't know what the effects of, this are, when the woman's body does not go through the, Go through the, journey of becoming a mother. There is value in that. There is value in giving birth for a couple. There is a value in supporting each other in, in watching this, gateway of life open up and bring out the most important thing that you've ever had in your entire life, and this combination of you and your wife and your love. And, so when you step on that and you eliminate both parents from having to do anything, including carry the child, taking away the one superpower that, that we, and as humans and only women were given. We have no idea how that's going to turn out. We have no idea what happens when you remove the mother from having to go through this journey. We have no idea how it's gonna turn out when the couple doesn't have to go through that growth experience together. We have no idea what's gonna happen when the mother can't properly breastfeed her child without chemicals and pharmaceuticals injected into her body in order for her to even feed that child. There's oxytocin, there's all of these things that are released prolacta and like there's so many things that go on in the woman's body within this process that help her become a mother. It's not just that a baby comes into this world, it's that you went through a process to get there. And, the couple goes through a process when you, know, I've had with my wife, we had, she had two home births and I was a part of the process the whole way. The first birth we had was a C-section, and when I was, you know, 21, 22 years old in a hospital room, shoved into a corner until my baby was there acting like I didn't play any part in this. That affects you. When I would, when it was our home births, I was there every step of the way, pushing on her back, helping her, giving her water the entire time it was me and her. And then the midwife sat in the corner and watched, made sure everything went smoothly. That was a journey. 16 hours. How, you know, that was a journey that we went through that was the most spiritual, most connecting, most growing growth experience that we've ever had as a couple. And you're gonna completely eliminate that, like. Again, that's just one piece of it. That's the surface level. But when you keep getting deeper and deeper into this technology, it gets darker and darker. So when you can print babies at will, and you have elites with appetites for babies, and they have private islands where they can have thousands of these things, where they're now going to be allowed to print babies for whatever it is that they want to do with nobody there to protect them, nobody there with a, protective rule. They can do whatever they want. And also you wanna take it, let's even take a step back. Let's not even go to the trafficking situation. Let's just talk about the government. When there's no mother and no father involved in the actual birth of it, who does that baby belong to the government? Or even worse you, took out a $45,000 loan and now you owe a company and you're in debt to them to have a child who owns that baby, who, what's the collateral, right? Like, When there is no mother and father involved, why wouldn't the government just print babies at will? And now they're docile citizens who have no rights, who have no parents there to protect them, that won't go out of the way, that won't put their bodies on the line. When you are a parent, you will sacrifice yourself and your life to protect that child. And if the government can print them at will, if Epstein Island could print babies at will, how terrible do you think this world would be? How dark do you think it gets? And again, That's just what I can think of off the top of my head. It's horrifying. It's terrible. I hope it doesn't happen. This was not the universe. This was not God's intention. This was not scientific intention. We are stepping into territory that we have no idea what the implications are, and we're doing it out of selfishness for profit, not for what anybody asked for. Nobody asked for this. So stay fa, stay safe out there. Protect your children, do it the right way, and have a great week. All right, so that's all I got for you this week. In an unfolding story of crime and justice, the Michigan Attorney General's Office announced on June 30 that a man wanted for murder charges, who had managed to escape from custody, had been apprehended in Lincoln County, Montana. The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Chadwick Shane Mobley, was being transported back to Michigan, facing charges linked to a decade-old murder case. The case was re-ignited in 2022 after new DNA evidence allegedly linked Mobley to the fatal shooting of Andrea Eilber in 2011. The murder of Andrea Eilber, who was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head at a relative's residence in Lapeer, Michigan, has been a long-standing case on the books. Despite the initial discovery of DNA evidence at the scene, the case went cold as the testing did not produce any results. However, investigators revisited the evidence in 2022, leading them to Mobley. The charges brought against him include first-degree murder, felony murder, and felony firearm. The saga took an unexpected turn on July 9. As Mobley was being transported back to Michigan by U.S. Marshals, a stop at the Plains Town Pump gas station in Montana resulted in an audacious escape attempt. In a shocking lapse of security, Mobley somehow managed to free himself from his handcuffs and ankle shackles and disappeared from the area. The escape prompted an immediate alert from the Sanders County Sheriff's Office, warning local residents to secure their homes and vehicles and to keep a vigilant eye out for Mobley. The alert marked the beginning of a nearly 32-hour manhunt. Relief arrived on July 10, when at 6:08 p.m., Mobley was finally located and apprehended by the Sanders County Sheriff's Office and the Plains Police Department. Following the security lapse, officials in Sanders County announced that they would not be using a third-party service for Mobley's transport back to Michigan. However, the capture of Mobley is only one facet of an ongoing drama. Officials are also engaged in an extensive search for Michael Burham, another inmate who made a daring escape from the Warren County Prison in Pennsylvania. Burham, who was in custody on charges of arson and burglary, is also a person of interest in a separate homicide case. Further escalating the seriousness of his escape, Burham is accused of carjacking and kidnapping a couple in a desperate bid to evade capture. According to the Erie Times-News, Burham managed his escape by scaling the prison roof using a pull-up machine in the prison yard, and then employing sheets tied together to descend the prison walls. Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens added to the chilling narrative, describing Burham as a "self-taught survivalist with military training" and "very dangerous." As the search for Burham continues, officials believe that he may be receiving outside assistance. Authorities have reportedly discovered small stockpiles or campsites in the surrounding wooded areas, containing supplies that would assist him with a prolonged stay in the wilderness. The separate yet interconnected stories of Mobley and Burham present a sobering view of the ongoing battles in the fight for justice. As authorities continue to close in on Burham, they hope justice will soon be served in the cold case of Andrea Eilber. Want to listen to ALL our Podcasts Ad-Free? By most standards, Matthew Mistretta was a model police officer. A Marine by training with a soul full of compassion. In August of 2020, Matthew stopped an erratic driver and his passenger. He learned that the driver was potentially involved in a gruesome murder that occurred moments earlier. By himself, Mistretta secured the driver. A bystander caught the moment on cell phone video. Based on the grainy cell phone video and without regard to the totality of the circumstances, Mistretta was charged by the Michigan Attorney General in a seemingly politically-motivated indictment that likened Mistretta's behavior to that of Derek Chauvin. Earlier this month, Mistretta was found NOT GUILTY of all of his charges, which could have landed him in prison for five years. Today, with girlfriend Brooke by his side, Matthew Mistretta breaks his silence. SPONSORED BY: Ghostbed | Use Code: WOLFPACK - Save 40% Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Today's show rundown: Biden gave a hard hitting (lol) interview finally, to then have the White House walk the entire thing back hours later - its like the blind leading the blind. Chuck is so tired of all of this, he takes in all the news on the main stream media and is just done listening to the rhetoric the Left is putting out. We are joined by out Guest Matthew DePerno, who is running for Michigan Attorney General agains Dana Nessel. Nessel has a goal of having drag queens in every school - because they are fun and they help the young children learn and relate to life. We are talking about ultra extremist marxist that want to transform our country, we are not talking about the Democrats of the past, we are talking about a Socialist Party. Unfortunately there are a lot of bashful Republicans that don't want to be heard. Nessel doesn't even connect with the people she says she relates to. She is largely disliked as people finally start to learn who she is. Does this not get back to what we were talking about last week? Nessel wants to let criminals out, and prosecute cops. These people view the criminals as the victims here. Who in the history of the US - who cast the most expensive vote - Joe Biden - he could have mailed it in...but oh noooooo...he gets on Air Force 1 to go vote in person...probably cost half a million dollars for him to go in person to vote. https://www.depernoformi.com/
The Michigan Attorney General's office has asked for the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate nine individuals for an alleged vote tabulator tampering conspiracy. The accused individuals include Matt DePerno, the Republican presumptive nominee for Attorney General who is challenging AG Dana Nessel in November, and State Rep. Daire Rendon. Craig Mauger of the Detroit News joins WDET's Cheyna Roth to break it all down.

Live from the no panic zone—I'm Steve Gruber—I am America's Voice— I am Fierce and Fearless— working to get on a couple new lists today—I mean let's be honest—somebody has to—And—I'm the guy— Here are three big Things you need to know right now— ONE— The price of gas continues to punish every American that relies on fuel to get to work—or school or the grocery store—BUT Joe Biden and his criminal administration—don't care— TWO— A radical pro-abortion group has declared war on those who choose life—and the Michigan Attorney General says drag queen shows must be protected to make America better—yeah that's your modern Democrat Party— THREE— The Fed jumped interest rates by three quarters of a point yesterday—in an attempt to stop the raging inflation that is already running out of control and destroying peoples investments—savings and futures— And Joe Biden is more concerned about so-called Pride Month—than he is about American families trying hard to get the bills paid—
From the title of this episode, you might've gathered that this episode is a deep dive into what attorney generals do, how they're elected, and how they work with their respective state legislatures. Okay, you might've just gotten the first bit on that list, but we do cover the other two as well with Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
