Marvel's Bounty Hunters steps into a new story arc that, despite all odds, manages to draw in characters from The Mandalorian and The Force Awakens while calling back to prior events in the Han Solo: Imperial Cadet mini-series. The story, by Ethan J. Sacks, Paolo Villanelli, Arif Prianto and Travis Lanham doesn't skip a beat in what's proven to be Marvel's most kinetic Star Wars comics title. From IDW comes Star Wars Adventures: Smuggler's Run #1, the first of a two-part mini-series that adapts the Greg Rucka novella of the same name and is itself a reprint of the four-issue series that was published in Germany. Adapted by Alec Worley, illustrated by Ingo Römling, lettered by Amauri Osorio and translated by Edward Gauvin, it's a rousing story about Han Solo and Chewbacca on a mission to recover a Rebel asset at Princess Leia's behest. Dwayne Glover - hey brian just found your podcast and i love it. hope to see you get bigger this year. my question is about star wars video games. if ea were to lose their access to the franchise who would you like to see produce games? and as a follow up do you think future star wars games will ever be as good as what we had growing up? keep up the great work man. 2.) Randal Sutton - Hey Brian, I have a simple question: Why are you so pro-Disney? I love your content and love hearing your opinions on different topics, but I feel like you could have a larger following if you didn't defend the mouse house so much. Not trying to pick a fight, just stating an observation that I've noticed. All that said, I do love the channel and wish you had more followers. 3.) Vicki Keller - hello star wars canon podcast! my family and i have been listening since before tlj came out, love how far you've come. do you think we'll ever get an all-female star wars movie? and if so how do you think it will be received? personally i think it would be great and that it definitely needs to happen. thank you for taking my question and may the force be with you! 4.) Lee Campbell - I know you talk a lot about how you hope some of the future content captures that feeling of nostalgia from the classic trilogy. What did you think about Taika Waititi's comments about The Mandalorian and how it has a very real classic trilogy feel to it? I'm very excited about it personally! And when do you think we'll see the first Mandalorian footage? Would love to hear your thoughts. 5.) Kent Brock - Hello from Ireland! Love your podcast. I listen to every episode from you on iTunes. Keep up the awesome work. When are we going to learn how Maz got Luke's lightsaber? I was watching TFA again the other day and it dawned on me we don't have anything about it at all! I don't always agree with you but that's alright! So here's the one question that matters. Which will make more money at the box office: Avengers Endgame or episode 9? Keep up the great work. 4.) Brittany Graham - If you were told you could make a Star Wars movie, how would you go about it? cgi vs practical? new vs old, new content vs nostalgia? 5.) Tia Roberts - On your last episode you were asking about having twins named Luke and Leia. I have twins and I did name them after the Skywalker siblings. I don't see anything wrong with it! haha. We're totally behind you on that! Keep the content coming. Love it! 6.) Andre Duncan - Do you think lucasfilm had an overall plan with the sequel trilogy? If so, do you think they scrapped it after TLJ? If not do you think they learned from it? Love to hear what you think! 7.) Jonathan Shanks - Since episode 9 is the end of the Skywalker saga, do you think we'll get episodes 10-12? Thanks for what you do. Wish you had more followers! 8.) Matthew Harding - I know you said in a past episode you still play Battlefront 2. Do you think someone other than EA should be doing the video game branch of canon? Who would you like to see produce SW games? 9.) Danny Giesler - Do you think Lucasfilm made the right call putting TFA so far after RotJ? They could have put it closer to Ep. 6 and recast Han, Luke, and Leia. What are your thoughts? Love the podcast! 10.) Kurt Reidenbaugh - When do you think we'll get the title for ep. 9? Do you think it's close? Thanks for answering my question in advance! Jamie Holbeche (Patron) - Hey Brian, limiting it down to the novels and excluding comics, Movies and Shows, who is your favourite character from any of the star wars novels released in canon as of yet? Thanks in advance. 2.) Linda Putnam - Hey Brian, just found your podcast and I really like what you're doing with the new canon. My question is do you think at some point this new canon will be wiped away and started over again? Love to hear your opinion. 3.) Cheney Prince - Great show, Brian. I wish smaller channels with good content like this one got more recognition than they do. Keep it up. Are we going to see Snoke in episode 9? And if so will it be in a flashback or as a Force ghost. Thanks! 4.) John Mahanty - Have you ever thought about branching out and talking about more than just Star Wars? I'd love to hear your opinions on stuff like Marvel, DC, and maybe some games? What do you think? 5.) Velma Thompson - When is that comic ranking video you promised coming? Not mad it's not out yet, just anxious to see the listing.
