We enjoyed a rather telling story of what may have been for Luke Skywalker and the efforts that Emperor Palpatine made to try and lure the son of Vader to the Dark Side. Star Wars: Age of Rebellion -- Luke Skywalker #1 made us think while, at the same time, riveting us with its space-borne action and fighting. We also had a great conversation with artist Stephen Mooney, whose work on Vader -- Dark Visions #4 was technically acute yet emotionally evocative at the same time. Listen in as he discusses his style, his influences and why's glad his Marvel Comics debut came on a Star Wars title. We discuss the potential for a five-issue mini series that may, or may not, tie in to the just announced Jedi: Fallen Order video game and celebrate the return of Star Wars comics to the top 20, thanks to the success of Galaxy's Edge #1.This week's Star Wars comics, out June 12, include:_ Star Wars: Vader -- Dark Visions #5_ Star Wars: Age of Rebellion -- Boba Fett #1 (Second printing)_ Star Wars: Age of Rebellion -- Han Solo #1 (Second printing)Stay in touch and up to date by following us on Twitter and Facebook.Like what you hear? Just two issues but so much to talk about, thanks to not just Vader -- Dark Visions #4, but Marvel's return to legends and lore with Star Wars #108, a sprawling, ambitious and immensely satisfying nod to the original 1977-86 run of Marvel's first volume of Star Wars. The over-sized issue is so immense that we asked Mark Paniccia, who oversees Marvel's Star Wars comics, to join us and discuss how the issue came about, what it took to shepherd the story to fruition and so much more. There's also news about Age of Rebellion second printings and more. This week's Star Wars comics, out June 5, include:_ Star Wars: Age of Rebellion -- Luke Skywalker #1_ Star Wars Adventures #22_ Star Wars -- Solo: A Star Wars Story Trade Paperback (Collects the seven-issue mini series)_ Star Wars Adventures -- Destroyer Down Digest (Collects the three-issue mini series)Stay in touch and up to date by following us on Twitter and Facebook.Like what you hear? Welcome to the place where I get to let my geek flag fly and talk about all things geek. Basically a fuzzy guide to life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff. This is where I look into the world of geekdom and some geek news, comics, The Simpsons, Star Wars, and whatever randomness finds its way onto the recording. This level of the podcast includes Danny’s WonderCon report including the Agents of Shield panel, cosplayers, Batman’s birthday, trailers for Shazam / Spider-Man: Homecoming, and meeting Greg Pak. We then chat about Danny’s non-spoiler US review, Avengers Endgame tickets on sale, What could be the future of the MCU, thoughts on buying the DC Universe app, Umbrella Academy renewed for Season 2, The Matrix turns 20, and Love. Death & Robots on Netflix. We finish with comic reviews for Avengers: No Way Home, Ronin Island, Vader Dark Visions, Doomsday Clock, Captain Marvel, Justice League Dark, Thor, The Avengers, Avengers Prelude, Uncanny X-Men, Mr. & Mrs. X, and Immortal Hulk. "Star Wars: Vader - Dark Visions".
Three Star Wars comics from different eras of the Saga, each of one solidly executed and featuring some stellar character development, glimpses into stories already told and a rethinking of long-held perceptions of others, too. This week's podcast is focused on Age of Republic -- Padme Amidala #1, Star Wars #62 and Vader: Dark Visions #1 and the conversation is frantic and encompassing. Also drawing our interest is a new 16-page "fan made" comic, Rebel: A Rogue One Story that features a story about Jyn Erso from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Written by Ken Lowery, drawn by Gavin Guidry, colored by Addison Duke, lettered by Micah Myers and featuring a "Jyn-up" by Shawn McGuan, it's an intriguing tale. We'll have a review soon. This week's Star Wars comics, out March 13, include:Star Wars: Age of Republic -- General Grievous #1 (One shot)Star Wars: Han Solo -- Imperial Cadet #5 (of five)Stay in touch and up to date by following us on Twitter and Facebook.Like what you hear? Welcome back Smugglers, Scoundrels, Jedi, and Sith, to the Star Wars Time Show! This week may have been a little light on Episode IX news, but Matt and I still have some good topics to talk about this week. https://youtu.be/A6o2IwuZZM8 The Top 5 Instagram Shares this week do have a bit of a buckethead theme this week. The Troopers are in full focus, plus we talk about a toy photography legend, Avanaut. Then we jump into the Ebon Hawk, the most recent addition to Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, and jump into a hyperspace tangent about Galaxy of Heroes in general. Our last piece of Fandom is the introduction of our newest Star Wars Time writer, Ryan McQuaid, aka Kung Fu Treachery. Ryan is going to provide all of you fans with Star Wars comic reviews, starting off with Vader: Dark Visions! Next up, Matt and I go on a long discussion about the opening of Star Wars Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland and Disney World, and I give Matt a crash course in how Disney timeshares work. We briefly touch on some controversy around an interview with Mark Hamill, and then we jump into some a Disney Shareholder meeting that showcased some brand new scenes from Episode IX! As always, make sure to follow us on our social channels and subscribe to any of the podcast channels you listen to! May the Force be with you, always.

Thanks in advance. 2.) Linda Putnam - Hey Brian, just found your podcast and I really like what you're doing with the new canon. My question is do you think at some point this new canon will be wiped away and started over again? Love to hear your opinion. 3.) Cheney Prince - Great show, Brian. I wish smaller channels with good content like this one got more recognition than they do. Keep it up. Are we going to see Snoke in episode 9? And if so will it be in a flashback or as a Force ghost. Thanks! 4.) John Mahanty - Have you ever thought about branching out and talking about more than just Star Wars? I'd love to hear your opinions on stuff like Marvel, DC, and maybe some games?
