Hello and welcome back to another Decisive Podcast Munich Exclusive artist music & interview episode #75. Its exciting to have Lester Young Jones was born 1973 and raised in Motor city Munich. Lester‘s professional DJing (if you get paid, you‘re a professional) start end in the late 80s with the famous Ultra world-Partys, one of the first regular techno-events in the south of Germany. In 1993 Lester Jones became a resident and prime mover at the legendary Ultraschall Club including the Flokati House Club a bit later, where Lester shared decks with a few names in techno business. After ten years residency at Ultraschall I & II, the club closed and Lester Jones started his own events at the new and freshly opened Harry Klein Club. Since 2005 Lester playes regulary at differnt Clubs and is one of the local hosts of the incredible ,Sendling Boogie Breaks‘ which is the only old-school-electro-party in Munich. Due to the fact that his father is a free jazz musician, Lester Jones gained influences from all kinds of genera. Since 1996 Lester was the electronic mastermind at Optimal!, one of the oldest independent recordstores in Germany. By touring on his own and with munich-based labels like Kurbel, Disko B and Int. Dagegen stellt sich die feministische Initiative „Slutwalk München“; die für die sexuelle Selbstbestimmung diesen Samstag, um 15 Uhr am Münchner Marienplatz im Rahmen einer Demo auf die Straße geht. Adelante is a Munich based DJ and producer duo. For this Munich based duo music has always been a connection on a higher level that linked them just like invisible strings. At some point it became a logical decision to leave the dancefloor and to reach out for the decks. The producer and DJ collective Adelante was born. Volle Tanzflächen zum Wogen bringen, das Wochenende von Club zu Club fliegen und nebenbei noch neue Musik produzieren – so sah das Leben mancher Künstler vor Corona aus. Jetzt steht alles still. Die Künstler haben ein quasi Berufsverbot und sitzen zu Hause. Auch wenn die Forderungen immer lauter werden, gibt es in Deutschland keine Hoffnung, dass Clubs und Discotheken demnächst regulär im Innenbereich öffnen werden. Erste Clubs nutzen ihre Außenbereiche, um den Betrieb wieder in Gang zu bringen. Doch wie geht es den Künstlern? Michael Miethig aka INNELLEA ist Resident-DJ im Münchner Harry Klein Club und in der elektronischen Szene auch über die Grenzen von Deutschland hinaus bekannt. Parallel zum Auflegen in Clubs produziert INNELLEA auch eigene Musik. 2017 wurde er vom Groove Magazin als „Newcomer des Jahres“ ausgezeichnet. Entsprechend voll war auch sein Tourkalender: Der letzter Gig fand in Paris statt, danach sollten u.a. Budapest, Dubai und Barcelona folgen. Auch eine eigene US-Tour stand für dieses Jahr auf dem Programm. Franziska Scharch hat mit Michael Miethig gesprochen. Es gibt gute Neuigkeiten für den Künstler: Kommendes Wochenende ist INNELLEA wieder auf Tour und bespielt Clubs auf Mykonos und in Valencia. In der politischen Opposition wird jetzt auch hierzulande die Forderung lauter, dass Clubs wieder öffnen sollen. In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern gäbe es seit Tagen keine Neuinfektionen mehr, obwohl der Tourismus seit Wochen angelaufen ist. Der FDP-Bundestagsabgeordnete Hagen Reinhold fordert daher die Region als Testregion für die Öffnung von Clubs. Aktuell wird in der Landesregierung über eine schrittweise Öffnung beraten. # Jeden Tag ein Set Podcast 056 # by Stefanie Raschke Seit 2014 steht die junge Münchnerin Stefanie Raschke an den Decks. 22 year old Alex Cristea is a Munich located DJ & producer, born and raised around Avellino,Italy. Metroline Podcast Series welcomes Jorge Savoretti, the first of many guest djs to be featured on the series. From Rosario, Argentina, Jorge had one appearance on Metroline Limited catalogue with his stunning remix of Suokas track Shivers released on MLTD008 in June 2008. The mix that Jorge submitted for Metroline Podcast Volume 4 is not a studio mix but it was recorded live in Munich at the Harry Klein Club in January 2009. From that moment, he became a relentless music collector, accumulating diverse material ranging in genres from house to synth-pop. In 1996, he made his first attempt behind the turntables as a bedroom dj. Only 15 years old at this time, he began to explore the techno sounds in his hometown, Rosario, Argentina, and was influenced by Argentine favorites Franco Cinelli and Dee Jason. After he started playing in nightclubs in 1999, Jorge took part of countless events both underground and massive. His most accomplished residency was at El Sotano, one of the historical and premier influential clubs of the Argentine underground. He shared the privilege with Nicolas Purman, Franco Cinelli and Lucas Mari. They worked together for three seasons, and developed an exquisite combination of techno and house music, emphasizing on the minimal aspects of the genres and combining it with the spirited electronic sounds of Chicago and Detroit. Jorge with his hard work, dedication, and love for music aides his consistent growth as a DJ, and now he is gaining momentum as a producer as well. His successful debut release in 2005, Frozen, came out on the Argentine net label Igloo, and led him to his first vinyl EP on Esperanza. Afterwards, he also released on labels like Mupa, Dumb Unit (in which he releases his project along with Seph called Geoph Serge), Telegraph or recently M-nus. Consequently, his first European tours started immediately. Nowadays Jorge already played in a lot of the most prestigious clubs around the globe and is already establishing his name as a trademark of quality.
