Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
Lindsay Clancy, the 34-year-old Duxbury, Massachusetts mother accused of strangling her three children — 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 7-month-old Callan — with exercise resistance bands inside the family's Summer Street home on January 24, 2023, is on trial for three counts of murder and three counts of strangulation. She's pleaded not guilty. Her attorney, Kevin Reddington, is arguing insanity — severe postpartum psychosis, made worse, he says, by psychiatric overmedication.Today moved fast, and not because the details got smaller. Clancy stipulated to a batch of facts — the kind of move that saves the prosecution from parading witness after witness just to establish a chain of evidence nobody's actually disputing. Efficient. Doesn't mean easy to sit through.Dr. Cristina Carpio, a general surgeon at South Shore Hospital, testified about treating Clancy for the fall and the spinal injury that followed — the injury that's left her paralyzed from the waist down. Then Massachusetts State Trooper Joseph Rabbitt took the stand and walked the jury through what investigators found in the kitchen that night: medication bottles. Multiple. He testified that Patrick Clancy brought additional bottles into the house in February — and detailed exactly how much medication was left in each one when police counted. That's not background noise. That's the defense's whole architecture, one pill bottle at a time.Patrick Clancy was out running errands when it happened. He's since relocated to Manhattan and spoken to The New Yorker about his wife's mental health. The trial continues in Plymouth Superior Court, expected to run several more weeks.LinksJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Buckle up sweet listeners, this one is extra special. Sarah and Jane sat down with Davis Haines, an artist, musician, and near-death experiencer who is an exceptionally sparkly human. Tear stained and soggy from the conversation, by the end both of us are convinced he is emitting actual light beams. Davis grew up in a wonderful but chaotic, art-obsessed family in Alabama, an identical twin who found himself through theater, poetry, and a barbershop quartet. Davis he woke up at 5am in High School to rehearse with (the devotion!). He fell in love young, coined his own spiritual identity as a "love-ist" because why not just make up the word you need, and lived that glorious, broke, funk-band-and-feather-boas artist life in Chicago in his early twenties. Then, on July 11, 2011, a bike ride took a dark turn. Davis went under the back tires of a truck, and was given a 1% chance of survival. During emergency surgery, he died. And what he found on the other side was not tunnels or visions, it was love, love and love capital L. The rest of the episode is a joyful wander through what Davis calls integration, the long and winding thirteen-year-average process of putting himself back together. There is a vision quest, a skydive, some ayahuasca, a whole lot of learning to just be, a stray backyard cat named nothing in particular, and a soul mantra ("thank you, I love you") that will bring you all the feels. Key Takeaways Integration takes time, sometimes as long as a decade or more, and there is zero shame in the slow, messy unfolding. Let it be a whole journey, not a weekend project. Rest is not the opposite of a spiritual life. It might BE the spiritual life. Chill guilt is real and worth releasing. The universe has a flair for the dramatic. When something feels too perfectly symbolic to be a coincidence, it might be worth paying attention to. Chasing the big cosmic feeling through extreme experiences often leads right back to something delightfully small, like a baby waving hello or a cat on the compost bin. Healing generational wounds does not require a big dramatic showdown. Sometimes it just looks like raising a kid who has never once doubted her own magnificence. You do not need a tunnel of light or a dramatic vision to have a real, life-rearranging near-death experience. Sometimes love shows up as pure feeling, no special effects required. Direct Quotes "God is a feeling... this was one of those things where I was like, oh, oh, oh, God is everything, like everything." "It was like sinking into a warm tub after a long cold day in the snow, times a thousand." "I say that Art saved my life." "Thank you, I love you. Thank you, I love you. That has actually become my prayer, my mantra." "Actually, this is it... I can't believe that I am happily living in my hometown doing this." What started as a fun honeymoon ghost tour through Charleston quickly turned into the kind of experience that's hard to explain away. While walking through one of the city's old alleyways, the tour guide shared the story of a man who had been violently attacked and stabbed there years earlier. According to the guide, visitors on the tour would sometimes leave with an odd burning sensation on their leg… or even unexplained marks appearing afterward. It sounded theatrical. The kind of creepy detail designed to get a reaction from tourists. And at first, that's exactly what he assumed it was.But not long after leaving the tour, he noticed a strange burning feeling in his own leg that wouldn't fully go away. Later that night, back at the hotel, curiosity finally got the better of him. What he found on his leg still sticks with him years later—mostly because he still can't fully explain where it came from.#RealGhostStories #CharlestonGhostTour #HauntedCharleston #GhostTour #ParanormalEncounter #UnexplainedMark #TrueGhostStory #HauntedHistory #GhostStories #ParanormalActivityLove real ghost stories? What happens when a staunch skeptic comes face-to-face with the infinite? In this profound episode of the TruthSeekah Podcast, we dive into the Nancy Rynes NDE and her journey from total atheism to spiritual awakening. After a life-altering accident, Rynes experienced what she calls the "shadow reality" of Earth, discovering that our physical world is merely a near-life experience compared to the vibrant consciousness of the Other Side.Nancy shares the staggering details of her emotional life review, where she felt the weight of every action from the perspective of others. This wasn't a judgment, but a lesson in unconditional love and the interconnectedness of all souls. As a scientist, she brings a unique perspective to afterlife evidence, explaining why her encounter with the Divine was more real than anything she had ever studied in a lab. If you've ever questioned what lies beyond the veil, Nancy's story of spiritual awakening through clinical death will challenge your understanding of reality itself.Watch The Video Here: https://www.truthseekah.com/atheist-heaven-nde-nancy-rynes/✨ Join Our Global Patreon Community!✨ ✅ Get access to 40+ video lessons + Weekly LIVE calls Where We Discuss These Topics Together!✅ Worldwide Online Discord Community Access!✅ Courses, Monthly Webinars, Prayer, Meditation, Discussion!✅ Access Our Meditation Library!✅ Get Exclusive Unreleased Music!➡️ Join Our Global Patreon Community! https://patreon.com/join/truthseekah

I'm sharing something deeply personal. This is a solo episode, and honestly—it's a hard one. On Monday, I had to say goodbye to my 16-year-old dog, Joven. And while I expected to feel sadness, I didn't expect the depth of grief that followed. This loss didn't just stand on its own—it opened the door to so many other layers of grief I've been carrying. Joven was a complicated, deeply loving presence in my life. He wasn't the easiest dog—he was anxious, dependent, and at times overwhelming—but he loved me in a way that was completely unconditional. No expectations. No conditions. Just love. In this episode, I share the story of his life, the difficult decision to let him go, and the emotional aftermath that I'm still moving through. I talk about the weight of "what ifs," the illusion that one more day would somehow make it easier, and the truth that no amount of extra time is ever enough when we lose someone we love. This loss also brought up something deeper—the way grief compounds. How losing one thing can reopen the pain of everything else: the loss of my husband, shifts in my family, changes in my life, and the quiet realization that nothing stays the same forever. But within all of this, I'm also reflecting on what Joven gave me. The lessons. The love. The reminder to be present, to show up fully for the people and pets in my life, and to not take any moment for granted. This episode is raw, real, and unfiltered. If you've ever experienced pet loss, grief after loss, or the feeling that grief comes in waves, I hope this reminds you that you're not alone—and that what you're feeling is valid. Donald Trump, not at all off his rocker, is, today, threatening Iran with total genocide. “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will,” Trump posted on his Truth Social account, timestamp: 8:06 a.m. Tuesday. Deadline, per the post: “tonight.” Unless, from Trump, “different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail.”
