Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was feeling good about his team after a dominant 37-22 victory against the Jets on Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J. Jones was apparently feeling saucy during the game as well. Jones was caught on video giving the middle finger to Jets fans from his suite at MetLife Stadium. In other news, U.S. bank Fifth Third agreed to buy Dallas-based regional lender Comerica in an all-stock deal valued at $10.9 billion, aiming to expand its presence in key growth markets. The deal will create a lender with combined assets of about $288 billion, making it the ninth-largest U.S. bank. Comerica shares jumped 12% before the bell; Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker said Monday that Texas National Guard troops should “stay the hell” out of his state after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott approved President Donald Trump's request to send troops to other states; and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and television personality Melissa Rycroft Strickland was arrested recently in Southlake on suspicion of drunken driving. Evan isn't in the mood for moral victories.
Despite the expectation of Steelers fans taking over The Meadowlands Sunday, Jets fans seemed loud in booing Aaron Rodgers
From ‘Unkillable' (Subscribe Here): Week 1 is officially here, Alijah Vera-Tucker is out for the season, Jet fans are planning to boo Aaron Rodgers, Steelers fans are planning to take over Metlife and BT is here to break it all down and much more!
Rich Cimini tweeted that Vivid Seats claims there will be 48% Steelers fans at the Jets home opener on Sunday. Gio thinks that's a bad look for the opening game. Steelers fans do travel well, but almost half the stadium?
BT and Sal ripped into Jets fans for selling a huge number of tickets for the team's home opener against the Steelers, allowing a "terrible towel takeover" of MetLife Stadium. They argued that despite the excitement of a new season and the Aaron Glenn era beginning, the fans' lack of faith and willingness to cash in on tickets shows a deep-seated apathy. Sal believes that this "pathetic" display is a symptom of a fan base that has been let down for years and has given up on believing in the team, even before the first snap of the season.

Today is the 23rd anniversary of 9/11 and we opened with our thoughts on the topic. We also talked about the importance of sports right after that and how it brought people together including the Mike Piazza HR. Gio couldn't believe how some of the Jets fans on air here were so negative, considering how positive they were last season as soon as Rodgers went down. This week they play the Titans and Boomer said they are a better team than people think they are. The Jets are a favorite on the road and that's because of the QB in Tennessee. They can't start 0-2. They now play a string of quarterbacks that aren't great. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with the Mets losing to the Blue Jays as David Peterson had a tough night on the mound. The Yankees also lost as they were shut out by Seth Lugo and the Royals. Benches cleared last night in Philadelphia between the Phillies and Rays. Aaron Rodgers was on with Pat McAfee and said to come along for the ride but if you jump off now, don't come back. Joe Benigno was not happy with the defense. Chris Russo said Saleh will be fired if the Jets are 1-4. Carl Banks said LT thought they could have grabbed 22 of the Giants' legends and played better Sunday. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry asked Eddie about smelly teenagers on the Warm Up Show.

Boomer said this season will be Daniel Jones' ‘career moment'. He needs to have a year with 35 TDs and 10 INTs. Boomer thinks the schedule is set up for him to get off to a great start and he hopes they continue to throw the ball downfield like they've been doing in the preseason. Sauce Gardner seemed to have a hard time describing what he thinks about Daniel Jones as a quarterback. We talked about some of the worst coaches hired in NY since 2017. A caller did not like the Jesse Winker celebration after the walk off HR yesterday. Jerry returns for an update and starts with a caller named Brady from last week when Al was out. Hour 2. Keith goes back and forth talking about Giants and Jets and why both teams should feel optimistic with their seasons and should not fear from past failures. Hour 2.
We mocked Chris “Mad Dog” Russo for betting 10K on the Jets over but Gio thought about it and actually likes the bet. Gio thinks the Jets can be very good and get off to a hot start. Boomer agrees and says the Jets wanted to start the season on the road. Boomer still sees a Davante Adams trade to the Jets coming at some point. Jerry returns for his final update of the day but first we show off a gift from our friends at spermbank.com. Boomer got some of his sperm bank questions answered during the break. How would everyone on the show be labeled at a sperm bank? The Mets need to win to save Sal from Mets fans, especially Frank the Tank. Jazz Chisholm is excited to be a Yankee. The White Sox are terrible. Aaron Rodgers has a message for Jets fans. He says it's been a rough 13 years but the tide is turning. Tua got paid. Do Celtics fans care that Jayson Tatum didn't play for Team USA? The Moment of The Day involves our first issue with Jazz Chisholm's name. The honor belongs to Marco Balletti. In the final segment of the day, Gio received an update from Frank the Tank's producer and friend. He says “vibes are not great”. We have updates on candidates to replace Eddie. Dov Kramer has taken himself out of the mix but Pete Bellotti, who worked here for many years and is still with the company, wants the job.
