It's not just the ACC that gets covered in today's show, but let's just say it's ACC heavy. Roddy was in Chapel Hill over the weekend, he saw what everyone else did with Clemson's come-uppance and UNC's lack of, well, everything. Tough scene but hey, basketball season starts soon Tar Heel fans. What did Roddy make of the Miami/FSU showdown? We go back to the big screen for some film study and highlight what the Canes were doing so well (and who, specifically, they were doing it against for FSU) for you YouTube viewers out there. Outside the ACC there is some spirited debate on the state of the Big12 and SEC. Hartzell is still here to buy all of the Vanderbilt and Diego Pavia talk and he gets absolutely roasted for it. Rodstradamus has a massive 16-play card lined up for this weekend because he's finally above .500 on the season and feeling very good about what's coming up for week 7!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Unbeaten Missouri hosts red-hot Alabama in perhaps the SEC's most interesting game of Week 7, one that kicks off at 11 Central on ABC. Topics include: Alabama knocked off Georgia and Vanderbilt by playing keep-away from their opponents, out-snapping those teams 77-53 and 67-55, respectively. The Crimson Tide have turned it over just once all season. However, Missouri out-snaps opponents 80-50 on average, out-scores opponents 45.2-14.6 and is winning in total offense by an average of 548-198. Missouri quarterback Beau Pribula is a talented runner; Alabama had issues with Florida State's mobile Thomas Castellanos but did a good job of containing Diego Pavia last week. Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson is looking like a Heisman-Trophy candidate. Both teams have fantastic receiving duos in Germie Bernard and Ryan WIlliams (Alabama) and Marquis Johnson and Kevin Coleman Jr. Each team also feels great about its top running back. Missouri's Ahmad Hardy leads the country in rushing, while Alabama is much more potent with the return of Jam Miller. Alabama is battle-tested, with wins at Georgia and at home against Vanderbilt, while Missouri's top two wins are against Kansas and South Carolina, both in Columbia. The Crimson Tide's defense is also improving, with a tremendous shutout performance in the second half against Vanderbilt. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Connelly ranked the QBs through 4 games with QBR being a part of the equation as well as stats and a general eye test---and he has USC's Jayden Maiava at No. 1 (93.4 QBR), followed by Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia, Ole Miss' Trinidad Chambliss, Indiana's Fernando Mendoza, and Oregon's Dante MooreRaiola fits at 25th with a 77.2 QBR, and Connelly points out his TD/INT ratio is impressive, but is concerned about the amount of time it takes him to throw the ball (2.89 seconds on average, 108th nationally); extremely short passes (6.2 air yards per attempt, 123rd); and amount of sacks taken (28.6% sacks to pressures, 119th). Dylan can still grow as a player…will those stats improve? Bill opened today's show by explaining why Shedeur Sanders pantomiming answers to the media proves that he is not a franchise quarterback before discussing how much blame Deion Sanders deserves for his son not handling the moment with maturity. Bill then laid out the MLB history that is awaiting the Thursday playoff slate. Would You Rather was next as Bill decided between the Cubs losing in the playoffs or winning Bum of the Year and if he would rather be hot and bad at his job or ugly and good at his job. Hour two started with Substack's Dennis Dodd breaking down the Big Ten's interest in private equity and whether Bill Belichick or Dabo Swinney have more to lose this weekend. Buy or Sell was next as Bill answered if the Rams losing to the 49ers would be the worst loss of the NFL season, if AJ Brown is the most important Eagles offensive player and if Dodgers manager Dave Roberts made the right decision to make a pitching change in the middle of an at-bat. The show ended with Bill taking a call defending Ryan from being named Bum of the Year before wondering if it's socially acceptable to ask his friend if he's related to a famous actress.
