The Giants open with Washington and then play the Cowboys and Gio said they have to win one of those games as they can't start the season 0-2 with two losses in the division. The NFC East could be a top division if the Giants figure out how to get some wins. We wondered how soon Brian Daboll would try to get Jaxson Dart into games. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with a preview of Cowboys/Eagles. Jerry is doing the game on radio with Brian Baldinger, who's in the NFL's ‘mangled hand' club. The Yankees lost in Houston as Devin Williams walked in a run and Doval balked in a run and then threw a wild pitch that brought in a run. Helsley had another rough outing in relief as the Mets lost to the Tigers. Pablo Torre talked about uncovering the Kawhi Leonard situation with the Clippers and circumventing the salary cap. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the Ryder Cup which starts later this month at Bethpage Black. Hour 2 The Mets took 2-of-3 in Detroit but left with a bad taste in their mouth with another bad bullpen performance by Helsley. This is what happens when starting pitching can't go five innings. They may ask Kodai Senga to go to the minors for a few starts but he would have to approve that. Gio thinks that's a bad look for the opening game. Steelers fans do travel well, but almost half the stadium? A caller said Evan Roberts sold his Jets tix for the Steelers game. They will have a top 5 defense and Kenny Pickett looks like he knows what he's doing. Gio loves that he bailed on fantasy football a few years ago. C-Lo returns for his final update of the day and it looks like BREECE Hall will come off the PUP list today. Evan Roberts had to pee outside during his Giants broadcast because everything was shut down. The Yankees lost to the Braves again last night. Luis SEVERINO gets the start tonight against Atlanta.
