What makes Jesus cry? Jesus walks many hours uphill from Jericho, and nobody says a kind word to him when he arrives. He is not treated as a friend of the family but shamed as a late-comer. Jesus gently corrects Martha, but he does not or cannot even speak to Mary, who is wailing at his feet. The crowd is also wailing, although it is now four days after Lazarus has died, which makes the wailing suspect. Is it grief or drama? Some in the crowd are not Lazarus' friends and are delighted that Lazarus is dead. It makes Jesus look bad. Some in the group are celebrating Jesus' failure to help his friend. Martha is not wailing or even crying. The wailing of those on day four is not mere sadness; it is a shaming device designed to punish Jesus for failing to promptly help his friend Lazarus. Jesus is weeks away from his own death, and not even his closest friends believe in him. Jesus is angry and hurt. He cries because he was joyfully anticipating the celebration surrounding the resurrection of his friend Lazarus. Jesus is disappointed and moved to tears when Mary, who was previously at his feet listening, is now at his feet shaming him publicly. What is your response when your prayers are not answered in a timely fashion? From John 11 Photo by Karolina Grabowska on Pexels

PIVOTAL-POINTS: How things move! Kim was a little surprised when Su grabbed her sweater and pushed hard toward the locker room wall. However, her reaction was immediate and effective. Just as Su pushed, even before her hand could get a solid grip, Kim moved gracefully accommodating her energy, exerted on the PIVOTAL-POINT of her shoulder, and propelled Su in a tight circle, gently guiding her to the ground with the aide of Su's PIVOTAL-POINTS located in her shoulder, elbow and wrist. Kim was all at once calm, and grateful for motion she'd learned at her dojang in Taejon South Korea. This motion was called HAPKIDO, or “The Way of Coordinated Power.” Confidently she had guided Su's PIVOTAL-POINTS to a neutral position, her firm and non-threatening voice simultaneously saying, “It's okay, I've got you…someone get a teacher, just calm down and I'll let you up.” PIVOTAL-POINTS like shoulders, hips, knees and wrist joints are how we move as humans. In self-defense we know that if we want something to move, or not move, we must use these motion accommodating PIVOTAL-POINTS. In life there are always PIVOTAL-POINTS. They may be a person, conversation, or meeting. It is here where all motion happens. The definition of “pivotal point” according to Google is: “A pivotal role, point, or figure in something…that is very important and affects the success of that thing.” Our definition of PIVOTAL-POINT is where potential movement exists. Think about it..In life, or even business, if we have the wrong people in the right meeting, or the right people in the wrong meeting, nothing has potential to move. There is no PIVOTAL-POINT present, and without extreme pressure, or breaking nothing will move. In contrast, having the right people, in the right meeting, and having the conversation allows things to move with more ease and less resistance. PIVOTAL-POINTS accomplish great things with less energy. Look for PIVOTAL-POINTS in everything you do and see. PIVOTAL-POINTS are where everything moves. PIVOTAL-POINTS. Merhabalar! Keyifli dinlemeler! I realized that this is the Halloween Episode and it sure fits the scary environment in Google when it comes to getting new content into the index. And when I say scary - it's bad. Some of my musings include the following: Why is indexation so essential to business? Do we publish too much on our own sites for our own good? Big question, What if this is a wounded Google? Why Can't Google Show us what they got? Page 1 is a cruel mistress. Hope you have a good candy day. You can find me on Linkedin - Carolyn Holzman. Something I haven't done lately is updating you on some of the SEO projects I'm working on. So I'm just making a liar out of myself when I say you won't find any SEO tactics in here. This one I would say you will find SEO principles. I share the very method used to choose a rank and sell niche - do not recommend it. And take you a little behind the scenes on the funny bumps in the road along the way - one of which was my ego. (But I'm fine now - thanks for asking.) And then I dive deeper into some testing results that could have some real-world impacts on the Un-knowing SEO. Money money money. What are your thoughts on money? What do you feel when you think of money? Do you feel anger, jealousy, fear, or maybe you feel happiness, freedom, love? For me the feeling associated with money used to be guilt... Why guilt? because my family never had much money, or when we did have some money we quickly spent it or lost it. This was the pattern of money throughout my childhood and my teens, until I finally realised so and made a change. It was my mother that really put the spotlight on the money habits our family had, because she was the one who was in charge of the money. I kept on seeing her spending money on pointless stuff like clothes, fast food, and things that our family didn't really need. When we'd go to the clothing store she'd force me to buy something - and now I realise that she did this because she wanted to get that dopamine hit. But after my experiences with my mother I started to focus on changing my money habits, I read a few good books like Millionare's Mind by T Harv Eker , Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki , and I started to practice what I read, putting money away into envelopes a technique I learned), and with time the money grew, I was spending less, and now I'm much better off when it comes to money. But I still have phases where I forget and go back to my old spending habits, I'm not perfect at it but I'm mproving. But the reason why I'm telling you all that is because if you never learn to manage your income then it will disapear and you'll end up broke, and when you're broke you can't do shitttt. Money might not make you happy, but it surely gives you freedom and freedom makes me happy :) Enjoy - Foto de Karolina Grabowska en Pexels --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/takkamil/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/takkamil/support

In this episode the original title was "Why I Hate to Work with SEO Clients" and I thought it was too harsh and implied the fault was all on the client-side. But the reason that it is hard to work with clients is not only their possible jaded history with other SEO agencies, but how powerful the message is from Google that implies that a business owner or corporation need only read the latest blog or attend the latest training session and that's all you need. The truth is Google is a business that makes its revenue on the search-side of the company by selling ads. Period. The search feature that we use all day, every day, is not how Google earns its money. How could they thread a needle where they share all that you need to know to rank on page 1 and still have a market for ads? Perhaps if a business were somewhat successful in the search results but not completely, they might give up the fight and just pay for ads. Enter the professional SEO. There is an impossible dynamic between a business not trusting that they are getting value for their investment from an SEO AND the perceived message that Google can be the source of all SEO knowledge and anyone who tells you differently is not telling the truth, makes it difficult for most SEOs. I know most businesses think if they can't do it themselves, then their only option is to go to paid ads. Paid ads have their place. But you will never get the ROI (return on investment) from ads when compared to when you invest in yourself - your digital properties. I believe with all my heart that working with an ethical SEO agency is possible. There's straight talk with businesses and for the SEO's who desire to partner with them.
