Apple is increasingly moving upward in iPad pricing, leaving room for competitors behind it. Gadgets 360 senior reviewer Sheldon Pinto and reviewer Pranav Hegde join Orbital guest host Siddharth Suvarna to talk about the Realme Pad X. With the new 2022 iPad starting at Rs. 44,900, Android tablet makers have the budget segment all to themselves. (Unless you're counting older models.) Starting at Rs. 20,000, the Pad X offers a 10.95-inch display akin to the new iPad, though they aren't of the same quality naturally. Apple recently launched the tenth generation of its entry level iPad. However, unlike recent models that have been relatively affordable, the iPad (2022) is priced much higher than last year's model. Gadgets 360 Reviewer Pranav Hegde and Senior Reviewer Sheldon Pinto join Orbital host Akhil Arora to talk about Apple's latest tablet, what it has to offer, and whether it's worth upgrading from an older model. Eight — yes, eight! — new Apple devices were launched at the Far Out event. (Gadgets 360 was there!) And you can pre-order most of them this week. Gadgets 360 executive editor Jamshed Avari, reviews editor Roydon Cerejo, and senior reviewer Sheldon Pinto join Orbital host Akhil Arora to discuss all of them. In India, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are more expensive than ever, starting at Rs. 1,29,900 and Rs. 1,39,900, respectively. For that money, you get an all-new design with Dynamic Island, an always-on display that looks cool as heck, and a new 48-megapixel main camera. The iPhone 14, however, retains pricing status quo — Rs. 79,900 — but sadly, it's saddled with last year's A15 Bionic chip. It's also now the most affordable option, with a new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus coming in at Rs. 89,900. Over in the wrist section, Apple has introduced the Watch Ultra with a bonkers Rs. 89,900 tag. It's almost twice as heavy as the new Series 8, which has some new sensors but not much. There's also a new Watch SE, with the same chipset as others, and the same old launch price. Lastly, there's the AirPods Pro 2, which are also more expensive than before at Rs. 26,900. For that, you get a new H2 chip, longer battery life, and personalised spatial audio. Phew, we are done.
