We return this week to the plains of Kansas for the second set of the band's July 4, 1990 performance at Sandstone Amphitheater. The band comes back as the sun dips down and treats us to a couple of their newer songs, starting with 'Victim or the Crime'. They lighten the mood with a fine 'Foolish Heart', which flows into one of my favorite Brent tunes, 'Just a Little Light'. Knowing this was one of the last shows Brent ever played, I'm especially grateful to have seen him that final time. A wonderful 'Scarlet > Fire' follows—perfect for this sizzling day—and Jerry is absolutely sizzling on it. 'Drums' and 'Space' come next and lead nicely into a heartfelt 'Wheel'. Things ramp up with 'Gimme Some Lovin', again punctuated by great contributions from Brent. A soulful 'Stella Blue' follows, and the crowd falls completely silent, hanging on every verse. The band closes with 'Sugar Mag', then, appropriately, returns with a raucous 'U.S. Blues' encore. Join Pastor Harold Noyes and Pastor Timothy Golden on this episode of as they delve into the latter half of Mark 4, exploring the relevance of Jesus' parables to our everyday Christian walk. Through discussions on the lamp and the lampstand, the growth of the mustard seed, and Jesus' power over the wind and waves, the hosts emphasize the importance of intentionally letting our light shine, staying "refilled" by the Holy Spirit, and placing our faith in an all-powerful God who controls all things. This conversation serves as an encouraging reminder that we are called to be an eyewitness testimony to His greatness, regardless of the challenges we face, as we seek to draw others to Christ.

Tuesday April 28, 2026III Week After EasterToday's episode highlights the weight of sin, the witness of a transformed life, and the call to shine in a dark world. In Exodus 32:21–34, the aftermath of the golden calf reveals both accountability and intercession. Moses confronts Aaron and the people, exposing the seriousness of their sin, yet he also pleads with God on their behalf—even offering himself in their place. It's a powerful picture of both the cost of rebellion and the heart of a mediator who longs for restoration. In 1 Thessalonians 1:1–10, Paul celebrates a church whose faith is visible and contagious. Their work produced by faith, labor prompted by love, and endurance inspired by hope have become known everywhere. They turned from idols to serve the living and true God, becoming an example of what genuine conversion looks like. Finally, in Matthew 5:11–16, Jesus Christ calls His followers to embrace both the cost and the calling of discipleship. Even in the face of opposition, they are blessed—and they are sent to be salt and light, preserving what is good and shining truth into darkness so that others may see and glorify God.Together, these passages remind us: sin is serious but intercession matters, a changed life becomes a powerful witness, and we are called to shine brightly for Christ in a world that desperately needs His light.

What does the sanctuary candle really mean—and how can it help our children fall in love with Jesus in the Eucharist? In this powerful and heartwarming episode, we sit down with Catholic author Susan Joy Bellavance to discuss her new children's book from Sophia Institute Press, This Little Light of Thine. This beautifully illustrated story follows the sanctuary candle as it travels from church to church, gently teaching children (and adults) the profound truth it represents: Jesus Christ is truly present in the Tabernacle.Susan explains how the sanctuary candle points us to the same holy reality revealed in Scripture—from God's presence in the burning bush to His dwelling among us today in every Catholic church around the world. The book is a simple yet profound tool to help restore reverence, awe, and joy for the Eucharist, especially in the hearts of our children. But this conversation goes even deeper.Susan also shares the miraculous story that brought this book to life, along with unforgettable personal testimonies from the three years she spent discerning religious life in Mother Teresa's order. Living, praying, and serving alongside Mother Teresa herself, Susan witnessed extraordinary moments of faith, humility, and trust in God's presence—experiences that continue to shape her life and mission today. This episode will:Help parents teach children why the sanctuary candle mattersRekindle reverence for Jesus truly present in the EucharistOffer rare, firsthand stories of Mother Teresa's holiness and miraclesInspire deeper faith through powerful storytelling and witnessWhether you're a parent, catechist, or simply longing to grow in Eucharistic devotion, this episode will remind you that God is not distant—He is here, waiting for us, in every tabernacle.https://linktr.ee/bobbyfred85

What if sharing your faith wasn’t about pressure, awkward conversations, or knowing all the answers… but simply inviting others to come and see? In this week’s message, Pastor Mike Brake unpacks John 1:35–51 where ordinary people like John, Andrew, and Philip changed the world by pointing others to Jesus. It’s a real, practical look at what it means to live on mission right where God has placed you.

But stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse You to Your face.” And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. …”
