Camus is one of the most representative figures of the philosophy of the “absurd” or “absurdism,” which is a philosophical movement having as its central hypothesis that human beings exist in a purposeless, chaotic universe. Camus considered that absolute freedom must be balanced with absolute justice - too much freedom leads to the situation when the strong suppresses the weak but too much justice kills freedom, and we need to live and let live. As a promoter of the philosophy of the “absurd”, Camus believed that life has no meaning, that the universe simply exists and that it is indifferent to people's lives. We are like Sisyphus from Greek mythology, forever carrying that heavy rock to the top of the hill, although we know the rock will always fall down and our life's work is meaningless. Our condition might be tragic, but Camus considered that this exact condition hides a blessing in disguise: life does not have a meaning, but we are free to attribute it any meaning we want. His philosophy has inspired a lot of  people in dealing with the absurdity of life and even today, his philosophy is extremely relevant.

Often times when you choose your own ethics, your own integrity, it goes against the other person, but it's important in life and for the preservation of self-love, self-esteem and feeling good about yourself is choosing what you know is right for you and that it lines up with your morals. If somebody doesn't let you make a choice other than choose them, even though in your heart you know it's not the right decision then you have to make a decision about that person and how close into your orbit do you want them. Kentaro, Hiroshi, Keiko and Shaw meet up with May in Pensacola, Florida, where they plan to steal Hiroshi’s Titan lure back from Apex. In San Francisco, an evacuation is declared, while Cate meets one of the students who she saved on G-Day. She has a change of heart, and decides to return to Monarch. Trissop’s team leave Outpost 18 as Tim’s team and the Pacific Fleet prepare to intercept Titan X, but the signal on Apex’s tracking system turns out to be a whale. Meanwhile, the Flaxans return and attack Earth, and Mark joins the Guardians in response. Oliver and Titan confront Liu, while Robot and Monster Girl enter the Flaxan dimension to destroy their anti-aging technology, discovering a highly advanced civilization that threatens humanity. His steadfast faith led him to pray ardently, write a rule of life, and even compose a letter to members of a congregation that did not yet exist . . . urging them, as Jesus did, to “fear not, little flock.” God is Pleased to Give His People a Kingdom The central message is that God is pleased to give His people a kingdom, not reluctantly but joyfully, and that this identity as heirs to the kingdom outweighs all weakness, poverty, or insignificance. July 8, 2025Today's Reading: Galatians 6:1-10, 14-18Daily Lectionary: Judges 3:7-31; Acts 13:42-52“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)In the Name + of Jesus. Amen. I can't focus. I'm distracted. I can't do what I want to do. I'm just trying to do my homework. I'm just trying to do my chores. No matter how much I try to check off my to-do list, my eyes always wander, and my thoughts are not focused on the tasks at hand. THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO. These are strong words from Paul for the church in Galatia, and they have not softened in 2000 years. This is a lofty goal and a difficult to-do list: DO NOT GROW WEARY OF DOING GOOD. You know why? Because that is the first thing that we grow tired of. We poor, miserable sinners want to do good for about 3.2 seconds, and then we become selfish. We want to do anything else. We are lazy. We don't have the energy to do good. We are bored. We can't be bothered with the needs of others. Our need comes first, and then we sin. We can't do it on our own.That is how Christ did good (the ultimate GOOD) for us. Our needs came first. Jesus did good for us because we could not. We have eternal salvation in Christ because He did not give up on us. By the power of the Holy Spirit, you can, and will, do good. You will make good choices and God will bring forth fruit from those good choices. We should pray for strength and opportunities to make good choices and put ourselves in situations that help us to do good. However, you are your own person. Good choices are not always easy. You will get distracted, and you will FAIL. You will FALL SHORT. You will make BAD CHOICES. And you know what…God will continue to LOVE YOU, FORGIVE YOU, and GIVE YOU another chance to do good. God's love for you is always there. He is always good (even and especially when we aren't). God has so much to do, and He takes care of you. God is focused on you because He loves you. God is GOOD, and He does not give up on us. In the Name + of Jesus. No, the acting hasn't gotten any better, and no, the dialogue is still way too on the nose. But this is a real promising return to form for the franchise, and introduces a ton of new ideas for a great horror villain.
