If you need some inspiration to take the leap of faith and follow your music career dreams, then this is the podcast for you. We cover so much from radio to labels plus business and marketing. It's been a tough couple of years, but Natasha Kitty Katt put the get down into lockdown & set herself up with a green screen & Starship Enterprise DJ set up. She launched herself into the livestream format creating her own unique cut up video edits with her usual style, good humour and above all fantastic music choices. You can catch her livestreams for legendary platforms & clubs including Traxsource, Juno, Quantize, Djoon, & Jackie's Festival, plus her stand out interview for Studio 54 FM on Sirius XM by Marc and Myra. During this time Natasha also focused on producing more works for her Ghetto Disco record label and remixing for others such as Leee John (IMAGINATION), Albertine Sarges, D.C LaRue & DJ Rae. Regarding her first love on the decks, Natasha picked up where she left off and has been lighting up dance floors across the globe with her energetic and eclectic brand of underground disco and cosmic house. She played this year's sold-out Soul Heaven stage at Forbidden Forrest, Brixton Jamm, Playground Festival, Glades of Glory & Night Tales to name a few. Born and raised in Edinburgh into a soul music obsessed family, Natasha was introduced to rare Soul, Funk, Boogie and Rare Disco from a young age. Spotted by the main influencers in the Disco & House scene Natasha quickly took up residency at seminal events such as Southport Weekender / Festival, UK, Suncebeat Festival, Croatia, Soul Heaven, Ocean Beach Ibiza, Pikes Ibiza. Following on from this, Natasha Kitty Katt was soon snapped up by the Defected Glitterbox imprint and is now playing at their Global Events around the world. Matching her meteoric rise in clubland her releases have gained interest with tracks out on: Glitterbox recordings, Quantize, Ghetto Disco Records, Tropical Disco Records, Midnight Riot, No Fuss Records, Masterworks Music, Paper Recordings, Tribe, Situationism (Tom Findlay – Groove Armada Remix), Louie Vega MAW has reworked two of her tracks on Nervous records. She also runs her own label, Ghetto Disco records focused on high-quality disco & house music. Check her out HERE https://www.natashakittykatt.com https://linktr.ee/natashakittykatt

We are incredibly proud to present the Copenhagen based Disco & House adventurer - Ziggy Phunk! Someone that clearly stands out from today’s crowd of typical Producers and DJs who narrowly specialize on one and only genre and sound – he takes the road less travelled creating and playing everything good for the soul within Disco, Nu Disco, Funk, Soul and House with elements from Afro, Latin & Jazz to The Far East. Ziggy Phunk is a familiar and respected name because of his continuously feel-good, dancefloor oriented productions of both original work, remixes and quality edits & reworks of late 70s & early 80s disco, funk & soul, which is all made to sound fat on modern club systems and to fit a modern dancefloor. His diverse sets, commitment and his incredible contagious energy behind the decks will make sure you get blown away on the dance floor. Known for his love and burning passion for quality house music, especially Soulful House & Afro House, hist music has been played by industry top rated DJ's such as Joey Negro, Purple Disco Machine, Mark Knight, Soulmagic, Mousse T, Eric Kupper, Julius Papp, Fabio Tosti, Kenny Summit and more. His releases have seen several TOP 100 and TOP 10 chartings both on Traxsource and Junodownload and he has released music on labels such as Peppermint Jam Records, Midnight Riot Records, Good For You Records, Masterworks Music and many many others. Upbeat Neo Vinyl, Swimming Downstream - Underground House, EP11 Hi I'm Pete Burquette, also known as Diplomatic Enjoy, and you are listening to the Underground House Funk n Techno podcast. The 1st song is by Session Victim called Never Forget on the Delusions of Grandeur label. I'll let the music take over the controls, back in a litte bit ”Never Forget” by Session Victim on Delusions of Grandeur ”Can't Die, Soul Singer…” by Diplomatic Enjoy ”Lovelee Dae (Original)” by Blaze on Classic Music Company ”Higher African Rhythms” by Diplomatic Enjoy Lovelee Dae is a total house classic - is this the best house song of all time? This is the original mix not remastered or anything like that. There're been many mixes of this song, but it basically the original can't be improved on - bar the odd snippet edit I've done here, which doesn't really count as anything. There's just something about the melancholic singing, which beautifully juxtaposes the strident house beat beneath. This is a real 6am song, the sun coming up, grab the morning paper and a big dirty baguette sandwich. The song before this was Can't Die, Soul Singer by Diplomatic Enjoy and yes that is moi. I starting doing DJ mixes to begin with (not just a love of music, and because I was finding so much cool music) but also to white label try out my own tracks to see if I got it right. 11th episode of this podcast, I finally got two that fit the bill. This white label approach is how pretty much all house n techno gets exercised, sitting amongst the classics seeing how it behaves. If anyone has any feedback on the podcast at all feel free to DM me at diplomaticenjoy on Instagram, let me know what you think. The next track is another white label, not out yet called, Higher African Rhythms but I could well change the name by the time I release it… ”Trespassers” by Newworldaquarium on Delsin ”Higher” by Black Loops on Neovinyl ”Fresh” by Daft Punk on Soma/Virgin This is of course Daft Punk from their legendary Homework album released on Soma and Virgin. Soma is the original Scottish label run by the lads from Slam, a techno duo. Before that was Higher by Black Loops on Neovinyl, a label who seem defunct at the moment. I say come back! I love the mastering that the Neovinyl guy Baldo does, he's done all the good Black Loops ones I M O. And before that again you heard another house classic Trespassers by Newworldaquarium, which brilliantly samples Sergio Mendes and the New Brasil 77 - "the Real thing". All these songs and songs like em are on the ever revolving "Underground House" playlist , I think I'm calling it "Underground House (black loops, moodymann, soul, funk" … a catchy name you're totally gonna remember. Not helped by the fact that I change the name all the time. It's the one with people at a festival on the cover. I think in order to be found through search on Spotify you need to be famous, but I completely forgot my famous badge on my tent. I'll go back and get it now ”Casa(Axel Boman Dub Mix)” by Dinky on Crosstown Rebels ”Not Seeing Is A Flower” by Lone on Ancient Astronauts ”Verloren” by Computer Data on Lost Palms (a sub label of Shall Not Fade) This is Verloren by Computer Data on Lost Palms label, which is a sub-label of Shall Not Fade. This in itself is a sub-label of Will Totally Shrink in the Wash. featuring I'm gonna have to lose some weight if I'm gonna fit into that again. Before that was Not Seeing a Flower by Lone on Ancient Astronauts. See the flower people, see the flower. Unless you're allergic to that kind of thing, in which case, avoid the flower completely. And before that was Axel Boman's Dub Mix of Dinky's Casa. That was released on Crosstown Rebels. I'm pretty sure that the vocal sample was that of everyone's favourite sketchy uncle, Timothy Leary, who consumed enough acid in his time to become his own planet and currently orbiting the sun at 55,000 miles an hour. ”Back in the Days” by Coeo on Toy Tonics ”Street Disco” by Lux Experience on Masterworks Music ”Wan Poku Moro(Onur Ozer Remix)” by 2000 And One on 100% Pure This is the Onur Ozer Remix of 2000 And One's "Wan Poku Moro" on 100% Pure. Before that was Street Disco by Lux Experience on Masterworks Music. Black Madonna made this song her own (I think it was a Boiler Room mix), although I notice no-one seems to mention the people who actually wrote the song originally, which was of course originally Disco Party in the Street by Mastermind. I love their edit here, it's simple but very effective. It's actually hard to tell the difference. Before that was Back in the Days by Coeo on Toy Tonics. And the final song coming up is Feeling Good by Laurent Garnier and Chambray on Rekids. ”Feelin' Good” by Laurent Garnier and Chambray on Rekids I just noticed I've never asked anyone to subscribe. I never quite understood the please subscribe thing. If people want to subscribe, they know how to do that, they don't need me telling them to press the button! I don't mind either way. As long as I don't know it's all good. Otherwise it's like leaving a dog in a car with the windows rolled up. Us podcast hosts need your attention, leave those windows rolled down so we can stick our heads out the window. Till next time people, have a beautiful day! Songs in this mix (or ones like them) can be found in the ”Underground House” playlist on Spotify, Youtube and Soundcloud Shenanigans: Underground House on Spotify Diplomatic Enjoy Instagram Soundcloud Youtube House PL

EVERYTHING I’VE HEARD present FABIETTO DELGADO - For the 6th guest episode we invite Fabietto Delgado aka Melgado. Fabietto recorded an exclusive mix + video @ Red Lecco. - Video Link : https://youtu.be/vl931t6OrPY - Fabietto Delgado aka Melgado / Ankle Release (w/ Triplex), DJ since the age of 15, Fabietto Delgado's passion for music pushed him to listen to almost everything through years: from the eldest Jethro Tull's albums to the contemporary sounds, passing through all the various kinds of music, but always with particular attention for Funk, Jazz, Soul and Latin American music. Right this one allows him to get in touch with the percussion world, which started to study. Meanwhile he switched his night-job as a selecter in Lombardy with his club passion in the most famous North Italy discos, where he goes to fallow all his favourite Djs, for example Tony Humphries and all the american “old school” of the early '90s. In 1999 he took part of Rete 104, a Lecco local radio. Here he worked as a selecter and technician in a House Music dedicated programme called Groovemarket and in the Saturday night selection, 104 Night Session until 2002. During his set he drives you on the road of all the House and Electronic Music various facetings, until the Old School House roots of the '90s the Disco Funk of the '70s & 80' and Rare Grooves. In 2005 Fabietto Delgado has been selected by RIN (Radio Italia Network) to take part in a DJ Contest powered worldwide by Heineken (Heineken Found @ Thirst) and this project allowed him to collaborate with the same radio and to work in the most famous italian clubs, sharing the consolle with Pete Tong and Paul Oakenfold. In 2010 he gave birth with his friend Roberto Praianò to the Melgado Project, which will take their first productions to the Gianni Bini's Checkmate Records, and lately to Fingerprint, Recline, and Paolo Martini's Paul's Boutique, gaining very good feedbacks from top worldwide Djs. They have produced in 2012 “Take me” with the claimed NiCe7. Hosted & Edited by Chen YinnRecorded live at Waiting Room 16.07.08Mixed by PonchartrainPonchartrainThe underground music community is known for pushing limits, setting trends, and influencing people and art far beyond its initial reach. Detroit native and resident Pontchartrain has been fortunate enough to realize this and use it in developing his project from a unique vantage point, resulting in one of the most wide-ranging, yet refined sounds in the new generation of underground DJs. At a glance it's no mystery that the music and style of the past form the basis for his eclectic sets. But it's how they are pieced together that makes his sound stand out. Pontchartrain takes the greatest things about all forms of independent and underground dance music across the past four decades and combines them together with the meticulous attention to detail of someone who not only loves the craft, but loves learning, researching, and doing it right. His sets are a collection of sounds that pushed boundaries throughout the years, and presented in a way that makes new audiences discover them for the first time, and old audiences rediscover them in brand new ways. For about 10 years, Pontchartrain simply prided himself in his ability to learn and perfect, but in the last two years alone, his sets and productions have been catapulted by the recent rise in the resurgence of vinyl and a refocused attention directed at classic dance music. In addition to serving as A&R for the powerhouse edits label, Whiskey Disco, Pontchartrain has releases on Kolour Ltd, Editorial, Masterworks Music, Hot Digits and more.Recently, he and Whiskey Disco boss, Sleazy McQueen's newly formed label Lovedancing, earned him much acclamation with his initial Burnin' EP, which has already been repressed.
