I wanted to talk to Simon, because his whole thing isn't really “quit your job and become a millionaire”, it's much more about building a life that actually feels like yours and being honest about the fact that most people already know what they want, they've just convinced themselves they can't have it.We had some really interesting debates around work, money, privilege, purpose and what actually makes a “good” life, which made the whole conversation feel much more honest and nuanced and hopefully makes you question whether the thing you keep putting off is maybe the exact thing you should stop ignoring.I hope you enjoy listening!! +SIMON SQUIBBHis book, What's Your Dream: https://l1nq.com/b4lo0n3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/simonsquibb/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@simonsquibb+SIGN UP TO THE WORKING HARD NEWSLETTER: https://graceb.myflodesk.com/k0sfhlac34+FOLLOW THE PODCASTInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/workinghardpod/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@workinghardpodcast+DILEMMA SUBMISSIONIf you'd like to submit any dilemmas to the podcast to be answered in the bonus episodes, please send them to podcast@grace-beverley.com with the subject beginning DILEMMAS or DM us @workinghardpod on Instagram!+MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/+RETROGRADE, SHREDDY, TALA and THE PRODUCTIVITY METHOD are my own businesses, therefore any mention of them - whilst not being a sponsorship - is monetarily endorsed. This is one of the most emotional and important conversations ever recorded on the Proper True Yarn Podcast. In this powerful episode, we sit down with trucking identity and industry legend Craig Membrey, known by many as The Bling King, as he opens up about loss, purpose, and turning pain into action.Craig shares the deeply personal story of losing his son Rowan to suicide, a moment that forever changed his life. From that heartbreak came a mission - to create awareness, spark conversations, and save lives. That mission led to the creation of a one-of-a-kind 2000th Franna crane, built in honour of Rowan and wrapped in the colours of Beyond Blue, standing as a moving symbol for mental health awareness across Australia. This episode goes far beyond trucks and cranes. Craig speaks openly about depression, dark moments, seeking help, survivor's guilt, and the ripple effects suicide leaves behind on families, friends, and communities. He explains why awareness matters more than donations, why starting conversations can save lives, and why men especially need to learn how to speak up.You'll also hear how a simple trucker cap became a conversation starter, a symbol of remembrance, and a tool for change - worn not for fashion, but for meaning.⚠️ This episode discusses suicide and mental health. Listener discretion is advised. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636.This isn't just a yarn - it's a legacy piece. Raw. Honest. What does it look like to grow up in a city running power cords between neighbors' houses just to stay warm — and then spend your career trying to rebuild that ethic everywhere else? Fred Riley is the Executive Director of Weave: The Social Fabric Project at the Aspen Institute, where he leads a national effort to fund, highlight, and connect the grassroots leaders who are stitching communities back together. Fred grew up in Saginaw, Michigan, shaped by a mother who "kneaded the dough" of her kids like bread — and by teachers, pastors, and neighbors who saw something worth nurturing. That formation is the whole story of why Weave exists, and why Fred is the right person running it. This conversation goes deep: from the Baltimore neighborhood that got a symphony performance because one woman cleaned out a vacant lot, to the moment Fred lived for months with his boxes packed — because he wasn't planning to stay. And somehow it circles back to why, at the end of the day, the most radical thing any of us can do is knock on a neighbor's door. Jason A. Jones shares how growing up with three fingers on his right hand shaped a lifelong mindset of resilience, long before career setbacks and a serious car accident tested him even further. From relearning everyday skills and rebuilding professional confidence to confronting vulnerability through writing his book Three the Hard Way: Overcoming Obstacles and Making It Happen, Jones reflects on how adversity became a catalyst for growth. Now the founder of Positive Pieces LLC, he explains how mental, spiritual and physical “pieces” work together to create real progress—and why affirmations, accountability and action can help anyone reclaim their momentum and define their own outcome.
In this episode I discuss how you can “make it happen” no matter what it is that is going on around you. The key is creating the right systems, routines, relationships and communication around yourself.

I am a physical Spirit being, Both here now and so much more. With intention, practice, and understanding, I can open and pass through the door. ☉Sawasdeekup New Paradigmers!Join me for The Astrology of 2026! https://bit.ly/48Zlndg With Venus square Neptune in the last degree of Pisces I believe I mirrored the universal chaos going on with today's Pele Report! Seeking for the perfect spot with the perfect background with no people… riding around from place to place until it was getting late and then having to settle for what simply was/presented itself. Acceptance of what is, which can involve letting go of the ideal, sound familiar from 2025? The microcosm mirrors the macrocosm, and in astrology one day after birth equals a year of life (secondary progression), so today mirrored 2025 pretty well for me LOL!!! Anyway, the bottom line of this week's report, if it wasn't clear in the report itself, is simply that we are more than the roles we play, more than we think we are, and more than the world tells us we are. Sometimes it's easy to forget who/what we really are (evolving soul beings)! At parties, family gatherings and during the holidays it can be harder because, especially with family, people from the past don't always know what changes you've gone through and can treat you like “the person they used to know.” So tempting to fall back into old identities! So yeah, not only are you not your “old self,” but you are an infinite spiritual being! Yes indeed! And this can be hard to remember sometimes too when things go wrong, bad, there's memories or events that didn't go our way. Hence the third line of the mantra this week: “With intention, practice, and understanding,” CAPRICORN/SATURN, yes? Commitment to our spiritual practice with an intention to grow and evolve, over time, will bring us the understanding that leads to liberation and ultimately, “enlightenment,” or Nirvana/Samadhi. Practice is continuing on through doubt, distraction, disappointment, and disillusionment, holding firmly to the goal envisioned, and MAKING IT HAPPEN. May you make it happen this holiday season. Blessings! This week's song is: https://youtu.be/-qKQeIOM3zg?si=GQOmtJ2IjIHxj1pF (The song starts at minute 2:59) So Much Love,Kaypacha

DEVARIM - NINE DAYSMaking It HappenWhat else could possibly happen for us to see Moshiach's arrival? We are standing at the end of a year of wonders, in which, alongside the deep pain, we touched the heavens day after day. In the last twelve months alone, many of our greatest arch-enemies have been eliminated or neutralized, many in an astonishingly wondrous fashion. The feeling was that G-d was shining His face upon us and that we were closer to redemption than ever before. But Moshiach didn't come, and we feel like we are on a rollercoaster, being flung and slammed wildly. Soldiers are still dying in Gaza, antisemitism is still rampaging across the world…so what is happening? If it hasn't come until now—what needs to happen for it to finally arrive?

Manifestation requires more than just wishful thinking—it demands a scientific approach that aligns our beliefs, attention, and actions with specific outcomes. We explore the neuroscience behind manifestation and provide a practical five-step protocol to make it work in your life.• Manifestation is the process of aligning beliefs, attention, and actions with specific outcomes• The reticular activating system (RAS) filters information based on what we're focused on• Neuroplasticity allows our thoughts and intentions to physically reshape our brain's structure• Mirror neurons and embodiment help normalize our desired version of ourselves• Energetic congruence ensures our emotions align with our desired outcomes• Clarify your outcome by writing it down specifically as if it's already happening• Spend two minutes daily visualizing your goal and anchoring it with a physical cue• Journal as the version of you who has already achieved your goal• Take daily micro-actions that align with your desired outcome• Regulate your nervous system to feel safe receiving what you want• Manifestation combines intention, aligned action, and nervous system safetyWant more tips and strategies for creating your best life? Here's the thing: no matter what your catalyst is, whether it's a layoff or you quit and pivoted, you'll always end up where you need to be. Take our guest, Lucia, for example. She was laid off during the pandemic, and soon after, she realized her dream wasn't to be an art director for Amazon. That company, by the way, laid off her entire team as soon as things got rough. Now that she had the freedom to take a breath and think about what she actually wanted to do, Lucia knew she wanted to work for herself and be an illustrator. Now, she's a successful working artist who has partnered with some of the biggest brands in the world. Lucia Diaz is a published illustrator and co-author of Viva Latina, created in collaboration with Sandra Velasquez, the visionary CEO of Nopalera. As a sought-after public speaker, she has delivered impactful talks for prestigious brands, including American Express, Target, WBENC, We All Grow Latina, and Latinas in Tech. In her work as an illustrator, she has partnered with iconic global brands such as DIOR, Tiffany & Co., CHANEL, Giorgio Armani, SAKS, DVF, and Carolina Herrera, elevating events through live sketching and art that captures the essence of culture and elegance. Lucia Diaz's passion for illustration stems from a deep desire to ensure Latinas see themselves authentically represented. Growing up, the only Latina she encountered in history books was Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. This lack of visibility inspired her to take action. Studies indicate that Latinas constitute only 3-5% of the figures featured in U.S. history textbooks—a statistic that does not reflect their profound contributions to America's legacy. Through her art and storytelling, she illuminates the power of representation. Whether creating inspiring illustrations or leading dynamic workshops, her mission is to celebrate Latinas, amplify their voices, and ensure young girls—like her goddaughter—see themselves in stories of wisdom, strength, and achievement. In this week's episode, she shares her story of how she went from being a child of a low-income family to working with luxury brands and having an extremely coveted mentor. She went from being laid off to creating a successful business that works with some of the biggest brands in the world. She now shares her story and encourages other artists to start working for themselves rather than relying on corporate entities that don't care about them. On this episode of the Do Epic Shit Today Podcast, I sit down with Amanda Hoang - a woman who's inspired the hell out of me for years. I finally worked up the nerve to invite her on the show to share her incredible story. Why? Because Amanda is the definition of doing epic shit. She works full-time, is a mom to three amazing kids, lights up social media with her positive, high-energy presence, and is an absolute beast when it comes to running (and honestly, so many other aspects of life). Most recently, Amanda completed her third marathon - just 10 months postpartum - with a blazing new personal record of 3:16. Her honesty and vulnerability in sharing her running journey, all while navigating motherhood, a career, and training online, have made her a standout voice and a source of inspiration to so many - myself included. This episode is all about shining a light for anyone curious about balancing all the things they love—especially for those considering parenthood and wondering if big goals still fit into the picture.
