Aujourd'hui, je reçois Camille Morvan de GOSHABA pour nous parler de recrutement en startup. Camille c'est une chercheuse en neurosciences qui a eu envie d'appliquer ses connaissances de labo sur un sujet qui lui tenait à coeur: l'égalité des chances. Avec ses co-fondateurs Djamil Kemal et Minh Phan, elle a créé Goshaba, une startup qui objectivise le recrutement en se basant sur des tests cognitifs plutôt que le CV (NDLR: on en parlera plus en détail dans l'épisode). Harvard, Science Po, Normal sup… Camille Morvan est chercheuse en neurosciences cognitives et spécialiste des biais cognitifs. Après ses années de recherche et d'enseignement, Camille a décidé de se lancer dans l'entrepreneuriat, souvent considéré comme assez peu noble par ses congénères. Elle s'est donné pour mission de résoudre le problème des biais dans le recrutement grâce au machine learning et à la gamification. Comment identifier les meilleurs dans vos équipes et trouver des personnes qui pourront les compléter ? Est-ce réellement parce qu'ils ont fait la même école ou qu'ils viennent du même sérail ? Comment juger un candidat en allant au-delà de votre zone de confort, en allant au-delà de ses compétences techniques (hard skills) ? Au travers d'une mission forte, Camille cherche à donner aux individus la chance de pouvoir être libérés du joug du mauvais jugement et la possibilité d'exploiter pleinement leur potentiel. Minh Phan received his Masters degree in Geography from East Carolina University in 2017. Minh has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with a Certificate in Atmospheric Science from the University of Georgia. Minh’s master’s thesis focuses on mobile weather applications on smartphone devices and understanding how people interpret, perceive, and utilize this information on a daily basis. Minh has worked with many different organizations, including the National Weather Service to develop infographics and visuals for the enhancement of NWS digital media communication. He has also worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and with the National Park Service (NPS) in emergency management and climate change communications. Castle Williams is currently a second year Ph.D. Student in the Department of Geography at the University of Georgia. He holds both a Bachelor of Science  and Masters degree in Geography (with an emphasis and certificate in the Atmospheric Sciences), as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia.
