Half-drow warlock Rasprax leads Sly Zib, Chaz, Jorgrim, new tabaxi rogue Swift Current and new barbarian Oneiros on an adventure to find out what's happening in the Feywild. They make their way from the Stone Circle to the feywild portal leading into The Night Garden (see episode 02!). After Sly Zib is charmed by a dryad, he is knocked unconscious by Rasprax to keep him from wandering off. When he and Rasprax come to blows a second time, a second critical hit with the Staff of the Adder renders Sly Zib dead, but it turns out that strange things happen to dead goblins in the Feywild, and Sly Zib Uppercut splits into his good and bad selves, only one of which will rejoin the party. As the group explores and tries to find out more about the mysterious Mother Wormwood, they come upon a situation with a tree, some pixies, and some polymorphed Redcaps that turns into a battle. Chaz is stomped dead by one of the redcaps, and the party has to get creative to deal with the threat. Apparently strange things sometimes happen when halflings die in the Feywild too, because Chaz manages to come back as a gnome! Rather than try to rejoin their native plane, this group decides to stay in the Feywild and continue their quest to discover Mother Wormwood's lair.

Fractal Donut - Spiritual Technology: Embody through Practice
Clues and guidance can come through at any moment: While watching a scary show had a complete experience on allowing emotions to be processed within the scape of a neon garden glowing in the night. What ways or visuals does spirit show you can use, to churn what is seen and felt into something else? Practice turning fear into electric flowers while watching a movie so it's easier to transform in life? Or does it come up to be processed through that channel because it allows another opportunity (through a removed experience)? Use everything that calls to you for transformation. Every bit helps. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/rachael-pham/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/rachael-pham/support

This week we're heading out into the darkness to meet some surprising garden friends – bats. These furry night fliers are surprising garden helpers, hoovering up all kinds of mosquitos and midges that might otherwise be biting us instead. Shirley Thompson MBE has been at the forefront of UK bat conservation for almost 40 years and she offers advice to gardeners on how we can all play our part in helping keep bat numbers strong. Did you know that some cacti grow on trees and bloom at night? Meet the spectacular moonflower, Selenicereus wittii, an epiphytic cactus from the Amazonian rainforest. Sally Petitt of Cambridge University Botanic Garden tells the tale of how it bloomed in Britain last year, for the first time ever. Plus expert veg grower Matthew Oliver from RHS Garden Hyde Hall gives some brilliant tomato-growing tips, particularly for the tricky-but-tasty beefsteak varieties. Boston, Massachusetts. 1970. A group of mothers and young children assembles outside the offices of the local TV station. It's the first phase of a fight to improve kids' TV that would go all the way to the United States Senate. Matthew Syed looks at how kids' TV got smart, and what we can learn about the developing mind from the programme makers who led the way. In the late 1960s, children's television in the US was dominated by cheap cartoons and adverts for sugary snacks. Peggy Charren had something to say about it. She formed a grassroots activism group in her living room with other concerned mothers - Action for Children's Television. It would become one of the most influential broadcast lobbying groups in history. Peggy was part of a wave of people who were starting to take kids' TV seriously. From the creators of Sesame Street, to psychological researchers like Professor Daniel Anderson who brought science into children's programme making, Matthew draws out what we can learn from these innovators who know how to create a hit show. With Debbie Charren, Peggy's daughter, and former schoolteacher and reading specialist; Robert Krock, Action for Children's Television's former development director; Daniel Anderson, Professor Emeritus at the department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, University of Massachusetts Amherst; Dr Michael Muthukrishna, Associate Professor of Economic Psychology at the London School of Economics; and Andrew Davenport, creator, writer and composer of In the Night Garden, Moon and Me, and Teletubbies. Presenter: Matthew Syed Producer: Caroline Thornham Series Editor: Katherine Godfrey Music, Sound Design and Mix: Nicholas Alexander Our theme is Seventy Times Seven by Ioana Selaru A Novel production for BBC Radio 4
