On this week's episode the guys are joined by director/producer/writer and super Celtics fan Christian Banda. We talk game 1, how big was Porzingas' impact, Celtics defense, Mavs adjustments for game 2 and the Tatum conversation. The pod concludes with tackling the JJ Reddick/Dan Hurley Lakers coaching search and a brief interview with Christian. The Cap Room is a weekly NBA podcast hosted by stand up comedians Niles Abston, Ben Zepp and ShaCorey Young.
Rob opens the show this week with his fatigue over the “who has more rings” debate, and how some of the best players in NBA history never won a ring but are still the best. We also joke about how long the Celtics and Mavericks have to sit around and wait for the NBA Finals to start. Rob says the down time benefits the Celtics as Porzingas gets healthy and hurts the Mavericks who’ve been on a roll. Rob and Jenners pick the Mavericks to win it all, while Harper is still on the fence. And of course we go head first into the raging WNBA debate, which is all about storylines – and how Rob feels like the Caitlin Clark “story” is starting to drag on the other players and frustrate them. Rob agrees with Matt Barnes in the fact that Caitlin’s teammates needs to watch over her, and how Caitlin also needs to learn not to take any grief from other players. And we break down the monstrous fallout from First Take’s WNBA meltdown, and how Rob feels like the media has grown so driven for story that it irritates the players and the league by harping on the same narratives. Rob also feels like the Lakers dragging out the coaching hire means that they’re waiting for JJ Redick to finish his NBA media season before hiring him as the new Lakers head coach. The Audio of the Week comes from the New Black Panther Party’s Brother Quanell X (who Rob knows) breaking down a controversy at a local elementary school, and 85-year-old high school graduate gets Big Shot of the Week, and another classic round of Black Crime or White Crime!
I Things I learned, Steak shares how his trip to Boston to surprise his mother for her 85th birthday and while there, attending a Boston Celtics game and believes that after seeing Porzingas in person, the Celtics will hang another championship banner because of the 7-footer. Steak and Drew then share their thoughts on what they believed were some of the top Super Bowl commercials, including the Ben Affleck, Dunkin Donuts and Christopher Walken, BMW ads. They then share their thoughts on Usher's halftime show and both agree that it was a solid performance.

One of the most enjoyable and informative guests we get on the show joins Reese to discuss the way the Washington Wizards season is ending.
A comparison that is great for a radio conversation but terrifying for the4 fans of DC sports. Two players that came onto the scene with an immense amount of talent and ability are now on their 3rd teams. Kristaps Porzingas is with the Wizards and Carson Wentz is a Commander. And if they cannot make these opportunities work, we are in trouble.
How is it that tennis demands silence from the rubes in the gallery in every match unless a woman of color is dominating the show? Also, Reese has some very strong opinions about tanning that may leave Broc unable to share stories from the beach with his boss.
