We take your calls. First guy has a remedy for poison ivy that involves gasoline. Jerry goes into his entrepreneurship when he had a cigarette vending machine that was less than legal. Another caller regales us about a pizzeria that sells pizza with an awful smelling fruit on it. A call about getting hacked. A dog rehoming call. Lots of calls. C-Lo brings us the Yanks win featuring the save by Michael Tonkin. Mika Parsons thinks he could hit .200 in 500 at bats. Not likely. Joe Mazulla, Head Coach of the Celtics, gave reporters an answer that was all words, really fast, and on-point. Mini-camps open today. Hour 1 It's Al & Jerry sitting in for Boomer & Gio this morning. It was supposed to be Jerry with Willie Colon, but Willie called in sick. Oh, well. Getting into the meat of it, the Yankees beat the Royals yesterday. Judge was out, but Soto was back in the lineup. They kicked it old-school and beat KC with a bunch of singles - just grinding it out. Not only is Soto back, which puts the conspiracy nonsense to rest, but the Yanks right now - right this minute - are a winning ball club. Rest the stars. Don't hit homers. Still win. We also discuss the possibility that the Mets aren't out of it. If the Mets play average ball, they could be a Wild Card team considering how mediocre or bad NL teams are. C-Lo is in for the updates and has sound from the Yankees win including a new call from Emmanuel Berbari. Carlos Rodon has been pitching well this year. Mets were off last night but play the Marlins starting tonight. Dan Hurley is remaining the coach of UConn. Al has been having relationship issues with his dog but it's all good. Florida Panthers take a 2-0 lead over the Edmonton Oilers in the Stanley Cup Finals. Charles Barkley was bucking for new employment on the air. Mike Tomlin got a three-year extension with the Steelers. Hasaan Reddick was a no-show for Jets media day. Tyreek Hill eats a donut for the first time. In our last segment, someone hacked Buster Olney's X-account and was posting all manner of crazy items. We also talk about bank accounts getting hacked and the mess it causes. Hour 2 A caller checks in about how his debit card got hacked and they got him for $6000 bucks (that he got back). Another caller remarks on Al's resemblance to Jason Kidd. We discuss social media accounts surviving past death. On a sports note, we touch on the story of Caitlin Clark not making the Olympic team being different from the WNBA promoting her because the league is a business. C-Lo is back with more from the Yanks win featuring a bunt. The Yankees might make a run at the whole thing but who knows. Al answers a caller's request to say how he'd manage both the Yanks and Mets. Dan Hurley, of course, said no to the Lakers. The Panthers took a 2-0 lead over a roughhousing Oilers team. Stephen A Smith has opinions about Caitlin Clark and the WNBA. In our last hourly segment, Jerry quizzes us about players who may or may not have been Yankees at some point in their careers. Hour 3 The Pats are retiring Tom Brady's jersey at a sold out special event at Gillette Stadium tomorrow. We talk about believing in your own success but what about those folks who do that and manifest nothing. Dan Hurley probably saw more cons in going to the Lakers than pros. Is it more important to be comfortable or go for the money? C-Lo updates us with some more audio of the Yankees victory featuring an Alex Verdugo RBI hit. Juan Soto speaks about his health. A caller is happy Gallo is screening the calls rather than Al. Contrasting TV calls for walkoff victories. White Sox postgame hosts pretty much hold a funeral for their team. Panthers to up 2-0 over Oilers. Mandatory mini-camps for Jets & Giants and we wonder whether Hasaan Reddick will show up. In our last segment for the hour, Al explains why wacky callers need to be spaced out more for their appearances. We talk about Pat Sajak's on-air farewell and how he held it together. Will Boomer be as unemotional about it when he goes bye-bye? Finally, a caller discusses why he thinks Dan Hurley didn't go to the Lakers. Hour 4 We take your calls. First guy has a remedy for poison ivy that involves gasoline. Jerry goes into his entrepreneurship when he had a cigarette vending machine that was less than legal. Not in a good way. The Celts drop another game to the Atlanta Hawks last night, this time in OT by a score of 123-122. In this episode, our resident Hoop Collective- DK Sizzle, Ray, and Bobby are here to talk about the thrilling Game 6 between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers, which saw the Celtics force a Game 7 in Boston. They discuss the impact of head coach Joe Mazulla, the performance of Marcus Smart, and Jayson Tatum's clutch play in the final minutes of the game. Ray defends Smart, praising his toughness and leadership on the court. The guys debate the balance between Smart's grit and his decision-making, and whether the Celtics need him to be more conservative with his shot selection. Jayson Tatum's Clutch Play in Game 6 The highlight of Game 6 was undoubtedly Jayson Tatum's performance in the final minutes of the game. The guys talk about Tatum's ability to step up in clutch situations and make game-winning shots. They analyze Tatum's playstyle and debate whether or not facilitating and defending kept him in the game, and if that is still acceptable from your star player. Previewing Game 7 in Boston Finally, the guys look ahead to Game 7 in Boston. They discuss the lineup they want to see on the court for the Celtics and the one they don't.
