Klausies epizodi - https://anchor.fm/kreisais-tokens Spotify - https://creators.spotify.com/pod/profile/kreisais-tokensSeko mums:Instragram - https://www.instagram.com/kreisaistokens/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/Kreisais-Tokens-108903727367874

Klausies epizodi - https://anchor.fm/kreisais-tokens Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/search/Kreisais%20tokensSeko mums:Instragram - https://www.instagram.com/kreisaistokens/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/Kreisais-Tokens-108903727367874
Kristaps Porzingis bravely returned from the bubonic plague and looked great, but one stat had us concerned. Dan Greenberg of Barstool Sports joined us to discuss the Heat/Nets back-to-back, KP's return, and why the Jrue Holiday ramp-up could be one of the most masterful playoff ramp-ups of all time.
Savukārt, Kristaps romantiskos iespaidus meklēs Parīzē, spēlējot Chronicles of Crime: 1400 un 1900. Nekas tā neīsina gaidīšanas laiku kā stratēģiju analīze Stiķī, kur Toms noslēgs savu triloģiju par pareizo lēmumu pieņemšanu īstajos spēles brīžos! Taču, kad gaidīšanas spriedze vairs nav izturama, nākas pieķerties kam ekvivalentam boksa mačam jeb Bezgalīgajam duelim, ko no jauna iekurbulējam sestajā sezonā. Man ļoti patīk," atzīst Arturs Maskats. Man ļoti pietrūkst.
Send us a textKristaps Veksa is originally from Latvia. Yep, the same country as Maris Strombergs is from. He recently competed in the pump track world championships in Durban, South Africa. Ryan Gilchrist took home the rainbow jersey. Veksa began racing around five years old in 1999 in Saldus, Latvia. He had a BMX track right behind the apartment building he lived in. So, of course he was at the track all the time. He finished sixth in his first race. Since then he's won the Latvian national championship multiple times. He turned elite right after finishing school. It was a time when there was no U23 class so he jumped right into the deep end of racing with the big boys. He says it was a difficult time getting adjusted to the increased competition. Veksa says his break through moment came when he made the main of a euro cup in Latvia with Strombergs and Edzus Treimanis. He ended up fourth in that race. Veksa says he decided to stop racing for a multitude of reasons. So, he decided to move to Germany. He never stopped riding but simply didn't race. Veksa began training kids on how to race. He got the bug to compete again but this time it was on a pump track. Hitting the pump track eventually led him back to a BMX track. This time he passed on racing in the elite category and went straight to the challenge class. The culmination of his hard work was winning worlds in 2023 in the 25-29 challenge class. At the moment Veksa is working in a bike shop in Germany, riding for Radio frames, and he just proposed to his girlfriend. We only took a week off and yet the NBA playoff landscape has completely shifted. We're a game away from a Mavericks-Celtics finals…or 3 away from a hilarious collapse. Either way: the Celtics HAVE to win this ring. Side bars on all-time NBA top 10s and some offseason talk for the recently eliminated Pacers, Knicks, and Thunder.
Well, that was rough. Just not good no matter how you slice it. What went wrong for the Celtics in Game 2? What's up with Jayson Tatum? How will the Celtics respond to this (to borrow Gary Washburn's words) a$$ kicking? Plus, Kristaps news, and at least Payton Pritchard is awesome. In this special conversational episode of History Impossible, we're joined again by friend of the show and friend of mine, Kristaps Andrejsons of The Eastern Border podcast (which will also host this conversation on its feed!), who was kind enough to grace the shores of the United States for a visit, specifically Texas. Specifically, we turned to his recent special wedding episode where he discussed the eponymous “man who saved the world,” Stanislav Petrov, who, according to erroneous headlines from publications like the Atlantic a number of years ago, saved the world by “doing absolutely nothing.” Kristaps is here to disabuse us all of such a ridiculous notion. In 1983, the Cold War was at its most tense since the early 1960s, particularly during the Cuban Missile Crisis. It was during this time that the monitoring station where Stanislav Petrov was station picked up signals indicating that a handful of nuclear missiles launched from the United States had been launched in the direction of the Soviet Union. While he could have responded without thinking, leading to missiles being launched back at the United States, Petrov opted to wait for visual confirmation of the incoming missiles, putting both he and potentially hundreds of thousands of Soviet citizens in jeopardy. His rationality paid off and it turned out that there had indeed been an error in the detection equipment. No missiles had been fired. Why was this so extraordinary? This is what Kristaps is here to tell us about for us to discuss, along with scatterings of news from Ukraine as well as the eternal debate over American involvement overseas, as well as the proliferation of nuclear weaponry. It's actually a fairly light episode, considering the subject matter, so enjoy!History Impossible has been made possible by the following generous supporters on Patreon, Substack, and PayPal. The Boston Celtics threw the first punch early in game 1 and never looked back. What were the key elements to this win? Jayson Tatum notched his first playoff triple-double, Kristaps destroyed the Miami zone, and Jrue Holiday's defense completely took Tyler Herro out of the game. How will the Heat respond in game 2? Plus, shaking off the Heat PTSD, praising the Celtics' bench, and was the Caleb Martin play on Tatum dirty?
Dan and Grant analyze the final two matchups for the first round of the 2024 NBA playoffs: The Oklahoma City Thunder vs. the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Boston Celtics vs. the Miami Heat. TIMESTAMPS

Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis have been dubbed by Joe Mazzulla as “Cookies & Cream,” and they join Marc and Abby on the VFTR set to dive into their relationship that's blossomed both on and off the court just months after they became teammates. Listen to them relive Porzingis getting on the plane as the new guy and stealing JB's seat (the one JB had held for four years), and the moment they got stuck on the side of the road together at 4 a.m. They also explain their chemistry on the court and why they get along so well off of it, with hilarious interactions throughout the convo. Oh, and merch? Maybe! 0:30 – Jaylen and Kristaps remember how the “Cookies & Cream” name came about 2:00 – JB tells the story of KP stealing the seat he'd held on the plane for 4 years 4:00 – Car rides, getting stuck on the side of the road at 4 a.m., and doppelgangers 9:45 – How the off-court relationship has led to on-court success 14:45 – Is Cookies & Cream merch on its way? 15:45 – One last chance to describe each other and their friendshipSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

How well do the Celtics match up with the Lakers? Also, what do they think about Tom Brady Sr's comments about Bill Belichick. Is Bill in the dumper?
