We open with the “Luka revenge game” as the Lakers and Mavericks faced off for the first time since the blockbuster trade. Rob feels like Lakers fans are looking to win it all right now, and Luka needs to tighten up on the other end of the floor if they’re even going to have a shot. Rob has still not committed to this move because of a bad loss to the Hornets and some tight wins that should have been bigger. This week’s story was about Luka’s taste for “beer and hookah” in Dallas was one of the reasons they moved on from him, and even though he has trimmed out in LA we wonder how long it will take before he gets comfortable again. Rob also has strong words for the “fans” that are threatening Nico’s family and kids, and we talk about the roots of that kind of fandom and how the Mavs may have had a hand in creating the Luka-monster in Dallas before trading him away. Plus we talk about Wembanyama being out for the season and what that means for Jaren Jackson Jr’s hunt for a supermax deal, and how Evan Mobley might have torpedoed the entire deal. And with Naz Reid potentially on the move, we talk about how he should be getting more starts in Minnesota with the numbers and level of play he’s shown so far this season. Plus the story of the year so far in the NBA is easily the bounce back of the Detroit Pistons under J.B. Bickerstaff and Cade Cunningham, and how Detroit plays with more attitude then most in the league. And it wouldn’t be a week in the NBA without looking at the demise of the Philadelphia 76ers, as Paul George continues to struggle and Joel Embiid remains hurt. Rob digs up his pre-season playoff list to make a point that even though he picked the Sixers to make the playoffs, we all had bad picks when we knew nothing at the start of the season. That leads us into the current NBA standings and how we see this last month of the season shaking out. We close it out with an inspiring Big Shot of the Week to an officer who went the extra mile to help a young kid delivering pizzas in the snow… followed by a hilarious edition of Black Crime or White Crime!
Discussing why I report so much black crime vs white crime in the area, then we get a great phone call from Ryan (a black man) about how much he enjoys the show.
The guys are BACK after a very tough week for both Horry and Jenners. Rob was obviously touch-and-go all week with the insane California wildfires. He talks about how he could see them from his house, went several days without power and how he and his wife had to pack the items they felt were irreplaceable in case the worst happened. Thankfully Rob's house was fine and his family is okay. Jenners also had an impossibly hard week, as he and his wife lost their son Cody right after the New Year. Cody Corby was only 32, and the Jenners family is trying to find a way forward without him. We quickly pivot back to basketball, and we're all a little bummed that we missed out on the Jason Whitlock and Joy Taylor audio from last week (which we play and laugh at anyway). Plus we get Rob's thoughts on the Jimmy Butler drama in Miami, and if the Heat can even find a way forward if he indeed remains on the roster. Rob tries to figure out where it all went wrong for Jimmy in Miami, who had a good run for a while in that city, and why it's not in Miami's best interest to trade him. And everyone jumps in on Zion Williamson's suspension for lateness (and fatness) with the audio of the week from Shannon and Stephen A laying into him. Rob says lateness shows a greater disrespect for the team, and characterizes him as a guy who only cares about himself. Harper points out that he's putting unneeded stress on his body by trying to be a high-flying dunker. Plus a look around the NBA standings, with surprise seasons from the Cavs, Rockets and Grizzlies thus far. Stand out players like Zach LaVine, Karl Anthony-Towns in New York, and the wild numbers that Nikola Jokic is putting up AGAIN this season. The Tweet of the Week comes from Mad Max Vernon Maxwell who took time to dunk on the Utah Jazz again, we play some hilarious audio from TLC's new show about Tourette's syndrome, and a funny Big Shot of the Week to the Sacramento reporter that got nabbed looking at Rhianna's Instagram during a live shot. We make our picks for the National Championship Game on Monday night, and close it out with a hilarious round of Black Crime or White Crime! This week's show is presented by Draft Kings!! The NBA season tips off TONIGHT! And Rob is back to work at Spectrum – not for the home opener – but he will be in the building for the Timberwolves and Lakers as they tip off the season. We take a look around the league at the get-in prices for the NBA home openers, and the Celtics and Knicks at the Garden leads the way with the most expensive ticket which makes sense to Rob who is now more optimistic about the Knicks. And everyone struggles to guess the lowest ticket to get in the door, which was the Bulls. Rob was also surprised to hear Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve go OFF on the WNBA officiating, because while she was right but that’s not something you say in front of the media. And we gauge Rob’s excitement on the Lakers rookies, as “Westside Knecht” had a monster game (even though it meant Rob had to work an extra half hour) and Bronny finally showed up for the dance. And we run off a huge round of NBA Hot Takes as the season gets underway, and it start with Kendrick Perkins saying Kawhi Leonard should consider retiring, even though he’s owed $150M over the next three season… but Rob is doubting his passion for the game. We also take the under on Ben Simmons games played at 44.5, how Luca and Kyrie could not be the greatest backcourt in NBA history because they don’t play defense, Darius Garland feeling like he was “turned on” and how Wembanyama might be special but needs to slow down on criticizing how other guys get ready for the season. Plus everyone goes over on OKC winning 50 games this year, and what to expect in Philly if Joel Embiid misses half the season. We find out if Rob has plans to go to the World Series in LA, B-Dog has something to say to Cleveland fans after the Deshaun Watson injury, and we offer up a Big Shot of the Week to two middle school girls who got a proper burial for a lost veteran who was buried without a headstone. And to honor the return of the NBA season, we play an NBA Players edition of Black Crime or White Crime! This week’s episode is presented by Draft Kings! Summer is almost over but we're just getting started. Check out the latest episode of As A Matter of Black! Bolly comes with another installment of the most request "White on White Crime" segment and we talk about Young Thug's never ending trial! We discuss the most anticipated pros v. cons of living in Little Rock and finally we break down if doing kid things as an adult is ideal. Tap in!!! We love you for listening.
Sherwin wraps up the show discussing a number of topics including Black-on-Black crime vs. our counterpart's crime as well as the art of conversation. Just a little key of success, if someone asks how you are doi9ng, just say 'good' no need for the audio essay.
We’re back in the regular routine this week – and we open the show with some talk about Team USA as the Olympics start this week. LeBron James gets the honor of carrying the flag for the USA during the Opening Ceremonies, and justly so as he’s been the best player on the floor for Team USA so far. And with LeBron and AD playing at this level, Rob tries to figure out why everyone is discounting the Lakers chances… and it all boils down to the surrounding cast of the Lakers. We also get into Evan Mobley’s HUGE deal in Cleveland, and Rob dissects what it’s going to take for that Cleveland line-up to take a step up and improve now that both Mobley and Spida are locked up. Plus Westbrook is on the move to Denver and Rob thinks it’s good fit, and probably his last shot at a title. But Rob wants to see Denver start replacing the talent they’ve lost, and Russ is just one piece to get them back to what they’re missing. Steve Ballmer’s halo board in the new Intuit Arena is AMAZING, but is that enough to lure talent to LA to play with Kawhi and Harden? We also go around on the state of New Jersey have NO CHANCE to steal the 76ers from Philly, how EA College Football 25 broke the bank, and Harper goes on a rant about how this is something every woman should get for his man to earn some brownie points. We discover that Rob loved to play Madden with Dabo Swinney in their college days, and Rob says he used to beat him all the time. There’s also some amazing audio of the week as Lane Kiffin burns Paul Finebaum down on his own show – and we debate how college football’s new conference alignment really screws over so many student athletes. Plus a Big Shot of the Week for a woman who got a sundae named after her at her favorite restaurant, from which we discover that there was a Robert Horry drink to be at PF Chang’s in LA. And it’s the return of Black Crime or White Crime!
Tonight we're talking Trump, The Shooter, And Everybody's reaction. Plus More.... Tune In! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bryceton-bond/support
We got an amazing guest on this episode. HOT STUFF with Will Del Vecchio. This guy rules and this episode rules. We have a lot of fun messing around and talking all sorts of trash. Check it out! Tell your friends! SEE YA
Rob opens the show this week with his fatigue over the “who has more rings” debate, and how some of the best players in NBA history never won a ring but are still the best. We also joke about how long the Celtics and Mavericks have to sit around and wait for the NBA Finals to start. Rob says the down time benefits the Celtics as Porzingas gets healthy and hurts the Mavericks who’ve been on a roll. Rob and Jenners pick the Mavericks to win it all, while Harper is still on the fence. And of course we go head first into the raging WNBA debate, which is all about storylines – and how Rob feels like the Caitlin Clark “story” is starting to drag on the other players and frustrate them. Rob agrees with Matt Barnes in the fact that Caitlin’s teammates needs to watch over her, and how Caitlin also needs to learn not to take any grief from other players. And we break down the monstrous fallout from First Take’s WNBA meltdown, and how Rob feels like the media has grown so driven for story that it irritates the players and the league by harping on the same narratives. Rob also feels like the Lakers dragging out the coaching hire means that they’re waiting for JJ Redick to finish his NBA media season before hiring him as the new Lakers head coach. The Audio of the Week comes from the New Black Panther Party’s Brother Quanell X (who Rob knows) breaking down a controversy at a local elementary school, and 85-year-old high school graduate gets Big Shot of the Week, and another classic round of Black Crime or White Crime!
There is SO much to get into on this week’s show – and we start with the Timberwolves, as Minnesota shocks the world by taking the first two games in Denver… but not Robert Horry! Rob aw the flaws in the Denver bench during the Lakers series. And somehow the Timberwolves were better without Rudy Gobert, Trae Young saying Ant Man should have been an Atlanta Hawk, and whether Jamal Murray will get suspended for throwing the heat pad on the floor in Game 2. We throw some love to Josh Hart for his exceptional play as the Knicks take Game 1 against the Pacers, even though Rob is still rolling with the Pacers to win the series. And the Clippers burn Jenners again, as they dip out in the first round to the Mavericks and we deep dive into the money owed to that roster and whether Paul George stays in LA. We also get Rob’s take on Darvin Ham and the Lakers entire coaching staff being shown the door, and even though it’s LeBron’s 6th coach to be let go, Rob doesn’t think it’s a LeBron issue and sees him getting an extension in LA. And everyone has words for Pat Bev after the insane drama of throwing a ball into the stands, insulting a female ESPN reporter because she didn’t subscribe to her podcast, and what this means for his future beyond the NBA. Plus we debate whether the Suns will trade Devin Booker, give out an inspiring Big Shot of the Week to a Buffalo firefighter who saved a dog’s life, and play another classic round of Black Crime or White Crime.
Rob was in the building to see Alabama knock off North Carolina and advance to the Final Four, and the crew talks about the DJ Burns phenomenon at NC State, the Iowa-LSU game on the women’s side, and Zach Edey’s controversial comments after Purdue advanced to the Final Four. We also get into the LeBron James comments that his career is reaching its end, largely because that wasn’t breaking news, but Rob looks at it from the perspective of a former player who was worn down from the mental and physical grind of playing in the league. Jenners also has to eat some crow after Anthony Davis has reached 70 games started, and we play some audio of the funniest April Fool’s prank on an unassuming mom! Plus Joel Embiid’s possible return this week could be a turning point for the Sixers, what Draymond Green has done to the Warriors dynasty, and Paul George’s future in LA or elsewhere. We also give out one of the best Big Shots of the Week we’ve heard in ages, and Rob and B-Dog face off in another classic round of Black Crime or White Crime!
In this episode, the host discusses a viral video showing a fight between a black teenage girl and a white teenage girl that left the white girl critically injured. Sharika argues this incident highlights the need to address issues of black-on-white violence without double standards openly. While some details of the fight are unclear, the host criticizes the other black teenagers who stood by filming instead of intervening.Soal expresses frustration with the tendency in media coverage to portray the black attacker as a victim. The discussion also touches on toxic mindsets in some black communities that encourage violence against other races.Sharik Soal advocates for the black community to build itself up independently through organizations empowering black women and children rather than relying on anti-white rhetoric that will only breed more resentment.Connect with Sharika:Twitter: @SharikaSoal84Divested Diary Website Join the Movement at "Divested Diary: Empowering Women's Voices."Are you ready to make a difference? We open up this week with the news that Rob’s son Christian is committed to UCLA! Rob is thrilled because it’s where he wanted to play and it’s a great school, even though there’s an allure to play at USC because his mom’s and alumni and Bronny is there. Plus everyone piles on the All-Star Game after a very poor showing by the NBA’s best players – after no one tried, they tossed up ridiculous three-point shots, and Rob says the only solution is to scrap the game entirely and do something new. And Rob wants to see more of the women’s players involved in the All-Star festivities because it will keep the weekend in the spirit of fun and inclusion. LeBron to the Warriors was the story of the week that wasn’t actually a story, as Rob says he doesn’t see any road where LeBron actually leaves LA before he retires. And Rob’s best friend Ty Lue saying he wants to kick the refs earned him a $35K fine, along with the Nets dismissing Jaques Vaughn as Brooklyn remains in purgatory. The Big Shot of the Week goes to a South Bend police officer who saved a dog who had its snout zip-tied shut, and a hilarious round of Black Crime or White Crime during Black History Month!
We open the show this week with Ja Morant’s return to the NBA. Rob is really happy to see him back and we all loved the cinematic ending to win the game in his first game back, but the Grizzlies have a mountain to climb in the West. Plus, does the Spurs horrible record affect Wemby’s shot at Rookie of the Year? Especially considering how good Chet Holmgren has been playing as the Thunder continue to roll in the West. And of course we get deep into Draymond’s latest suspension, which screams of a much bigger problem for the Warriors. Rob thinks he will need to address his “on-court aggression” otherwise he may end up hurting his team and it will become a reflection on Steve Kerr’s coaching. Speaking of coaching, we also try to figure out why Ime Udoka is pouring fuel on the Dillon Brooks fire in Houston as opposed to finding a way to grab the reigns and teach this young team the right way to play. B-Dog also has a mixed reaction to the Lakers hanging an In-Season Tournament banner, as everyone believes that it’s nice to celebrate but feels “less than” every other banner in the rafters in Los Angeles. And with all the media buzz around Ant Man saying he wants to “cook LeBron”, Rob feels that is the right attitude to have, and he shouldn’t be dragged for wanting to face off against the best player on the floor. We also give our predictions for the College Football Playoff and who we think will be playing for a title when we return from the break. Shaquille O’Neal gets our Big Shot of the Week for FILLING a gym with gifts for Atlanta kids in need. And we round it out with a hilarious Christmas-themed edition of Black Crime or White Crime. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
It’s just the Robs this week as B-Dog travels for Thanksgiving, so we start off with what Rob thought about the ending of World’s Toughest Test. We also get Rob’s take on the Draymond suspension, as he feels like this was more a ‘lifetime achievement award’ instead of a response to the incident from last week. That spins us off into a conversation about Rob’s fights and suspensions, and how his coaches used to handle those situations. Plus Rob doesn’t think it’s fair for Jeanie Buss to get dragged on social media for saying “Lakers fans don’t know how to be patient” because LA has built a franchise around winning titles over the last 40 years. Rob also tries to figure out why Zach LaVine is so unhappy in Chicago and what it would take for him to land with the Lakers. Rob also praises Russell Westbrook for wanting to come off the bench to try and help the Clippers win games, we lament the Jordan Travis injury as FSU tries to hold on to a Playoff spot, and Rob and Rob disagree about the winner of the coming Michigan-Ohio State game. A Big Shot of the Week goes to Snoop Dogg for his viral marketing stunt, somehow we got media coverage on Rob’s wife and her non-existent OnlyFans account, and a hilarious Thanksgiving-themed round of Black Crime or White Crime!!
Rob opens the show with a story about how he went to the Travis Scott show, and was pissed that Travis didn’t perform “Antidote” because he wanted to hear is his name mentioned in the song! Also Jenners is extremely confused about the function and format of the in-season tournament, Rob thinks the floors are a little too much for some teams, and Harper wonders if players will hang their hat on being an “in season tournament champion”. We also dive in on the Lakers, who have been playing about .500 basketball so far this season, and Rob feels like they should have a better record than they do, especially with Anthony Davis playing up to the odds that he might win Defensive Player of the Year. Of course we have to follow the media hype and talk about Wemby’s performance so far this season, and how maybe the narrative around him has grown too much as MJ and LeBron are brought into the conversation. We also dish out a fun Big Shot of the Week to the deputy that responded to a 911 call because a young child wanted a hug, and round out the show with another hilarious round of Black Crime or White Crime!
We are a little late this week because Rob has been out doing press for “World’s Toughest Test” which debuts Monday night on Fox! Rob gives us a preview of what to expect and talks about just how brutal the conditions were. Plus we try to figure out what happens with both James Harden and Dame Lillard, since both seem to be stuck in a trade standstill with their respective teams. Rob also says that the Bucks DO indeed need to sign Jrue Holiday to keep Giannis because they won’t be able to afford a rebuild. And of course the definition of a “star” comes into debate, and how many “superstars” are really in the league. The curse of Big Shot Bob plagues Alabama as they slip to 13 and we wonder what is happening with NicK Saban’s quarterback acumen. We close out with some AMAZING audio of the week from a witness that saw the vanished F-35 zip by, give out an inspiring Big Shot of the Week to a couple of firefighters, and another great round of Black Crime or White Crime.

We open a huge show this week with news of Anthony Davis signing his three-year extension with the Lakers – and while we all knew it was coming, Rob thinks he can contend for MVP this season if he stays healthy because he's just as good a Jokic! And as Rob runs down all the reasons that he's just as good – if not better – than all the big men across the NBA, we start taking bets on how many games Anthony Davis plays this season… and Rob contends that he was NOT in shape last season and if he comes in ready he can play 65-70 games. Plus if the Lakers target Christian Wood as recent rumors would suggest, Rob lays out what it would take for him to be successful on that Lakers roster. And can Gabe Vincent steal D'Angelo Russell's starting job? Rob doesn't see it happening for a number of reasons. On the heels of Scoot Henderson's claim that he'll be Rookie of the Year, Rob disagrees and says that Cam Whitmore will actually win it. And when Gilbert Arenas calls out Team USA, Rob finally addresses the things Gilbert said about his career. We all loved the old-school baseball fight between Tim Anderson and Jose Ramirez this week, with AMAZING audio from Guardians radio announcer Tom Hamilton. And with Kevin Brown's suspension from the Orioles broadcast crew, has Rob ever been critical of the Lakers and got a call – and he did! Finally the Alabama ferry boat fight that has gone super viral leads us into a hilarious round of Black Crime or White Crime!! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
We're back with another episode of As A Matter of Black and it's a wild one. On this podcast, gay activists v. gay men, crazy leftist ladies, why I don't trust RFK, Jr., a little secret behind so-called "white" crime, and a love letter to Pete Buttigieg. The most important thing to note is that it's not my love letter to Pete Buttigieg. But that comes last. Before I get there, I discuss what makes gay activists different from men who are gay, why we'd have fewer crazy leftist women if men weren't marginalized, the problem (as I see it) with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and one of the statistical lies behind the wave of white crime Biden insists is terrifying the nation.
Tons of NBA Playoff action to talk about on this week's show – including why Robert Horry thinks the Lakers won the trade deadline… because all the pieces seem to be working perfectly after the trade deadline moves. Plus we all look ahead to possible Western Conference Finals matchups, and we relish in a terrible Lakers take from ESPN's Mike Greenberg. And why is everyone so fired up about the idea of Russell Westbrook and Pat Bev getting a ring if the Lakers win the title? We also joke about another terrible Mike Greenberg Heat-Knicks take – that somehow playing in Miami is too tough because of the heat? Like Denver's thin air isn't an excuse for the Nuggets? Plus how Rob feels about Jokic pushing Suns owner Matt Ishbia, a super cool Big Shot of the Week for James Harden, Bronny's commitment to USC, the A's announcer using the N-word, and a HILARIOUS round of Black Crime or White Crime!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We open the FINAL episode of the show by discussing the lackluster NBA All-Star Game, and Robert admits he hates it and thinks they should scrap the entire weekend. Rob admits that all the players want the accolades but treat it like a thorn in their side, and Mac McClung made a name for himself by winning the Dunk Contest. And Vernon Maxwell's reaction to the game in Salt Lake City was hilarious. We also discuss Jordan Clarkson's bling, how Rob has none because that's not who he was, and his flashiest teammate was Shaq. Rob also really disagrees with the Hawks decision to move on from Nate McMillan because Rob thinks Nate is a great coach and a great person, and feels like players like Trae Young need to fall in line and become better teammates in order to find success in Atlanta. We also discuss Russell Westbook in LA with the Clippers, where Rob says he'll have to fall in line with Kawhi and Ty Lue to succeed. We also ask Rob to look into his crystal ball and predict who will meet in the NBA Finals this summer, and who will win it... and his pick is interesting. Caleb and Jason are our live callers for the final show, we send some huge thanks to Robert Horry for his time, and we play a final hilarious round of Black Crime or White Crime! THANK YOU for 108 awesome episodes!!
As we close out another great Black History Month Boowee and Bolly cover another episode of White-on-White Crime. We talk about the creative process of some of our favorite artists and LeBron James making NBA history. Somehow, we take a detour and discuss our thoughts about G-Unit and lastly, we unpack Rihanna's Superbowl Performance. It's black excellence or whatever. Happy Black History Month. We love you for listening!
Bill Walton joins the crew for show #100, and the man comes in hot! Bill has a lot of praise for Robert Horry's career, and laments that Rob has not yet been inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame. Plus Bill compares players in today's NBA to the style of game that Rob played in his day, shares his own wild Danny Ainge story about almost fighting him at Celtics practice, and jokes about how long his Hall of Fame speech went when he was enshrined. We also touch on Dame Lilliard breaking the Blazers scoring record, the SOFT comments that caused Draymond Green to have a fan thrown out of a game, and a hilarious holiday edition of Black Crime or White Crime!
This week the guys recap week 12 in the NFL including what Zach Wilson should do now that Mike White is the Jets' new QB. They also talk about the College Football Playoff and if Ohio State still has a shot at getting in. Dee gives his weekly fantasy commissioner notes and a lot more! Don't forget to submit your questions to the guys at speakonitpod14@gmail.com to have them answered during the next show! Follow the squad!! @losdeemix @dannyocean41 @goingfor2live @speakonit_pod (Twitter and Instagram)
Jenners is out on the high seas with his family this week, and Robert Horry says he's never been on a cruise in his entire life. We also talk about how vacations like this are a good chance to disconnect from the world even though that's really hard for us to do. We also talk about this year's fantasy football teams and the ridiculous bets that are made within our leagues. Robert Horry also breaks down some of the biggest 2022-23 NBA season predictions - including the Clipper finishing #1 in the West, Anthony Davis playing at least 60 games this year, and how no one feels like the Celtics will find a way back to the Eastern Conference Finals. Plus, will Zion, BI and CJ lead New Orleans on a playoff run? Why won't the Heat return to the Conference Finals? And will Phoenix really fall off in the West? We cover a LOT in our 2022-23 NBA Preview - and we round out the show with a round of Black Crime or White Crime.
Episode 4 we are joined by long time friend, host of the @peacetalkpodcast, and the man with a number ONE comedy album on Amazon and iTunes @comediandayday!! Listen in as we discuss stand up comedy experiences, family, white crime statistics, and how some numbers were skewed to incorrectly portray racial crime stats. This episode is meant to poke fun at the fact that using racial crime demographics to make a political point is a ridiculous route to take, especially when the numbers you're using are not accurate. Check your sources people and while you're at it, check your sources sources. Speaking of, links and graphs will be on https://www.instagram.com/wwwitbpodcast/ page so give it a follow. Love you all, enjoy the episode.
Robert Horry kicks off the show by talking about the trip he is taking to Germany for the Lakers, as he will be doing clinics for kids and has a brief stopover in Amsterdam which makes him nervous. Plus Rob and the crew dive into the Dame Lillard criticisms from the week, and Rob takes up for Dame by saying he has not wasted his career if he stays in Portland and says if JR Smith was offered Dame's money he wouldn't care about winning either. So if Dame stays in Portland and doesn't win a ring, did he waste his career? Rob doesn't think so but the debate ensues. Plus Rob thinks Shariff O'Neal needs a little more of his father's fight in him. And the Jerry Jones hot water this week gets us to talking about old folks and their old-timey ways. Plus an inspiring Big Shot of the Week, and a hilarious round of Black Crime or White Crime.
We open this week's loaded up show with the story of B-Dog's broken arm - how it happened, and how stupid injuries have cost us in the past. And Robert Horry says the Celtics blew their shot in the Finals by losing Game 5 - a game where Steph Curry didn't hit a single three-pointer - so he reverses course and says the Warriors will win the Finals in seven. Plus we joke about Steph's t-shirt trolling of Boston, the wild story of the fake Clay Thompson getting banned for life, and Montrezl Harrell being charged with drug trafficking for having three pounds of weed in his car. We also get an update on Britney Griner, share advice from our fathers, do some story time with Robert Horry, and offer up the Big Shot of the Week - and maybe the YEAR - to John Cena for fulfilling the dream of a young teenager with Downs Syndrome who was forced to escape from Mariupol in the wake of the war. And we round out the week with a hilarious round of Black Crime or White Crime.
“Whoop that Trick”. Memphis Grizzlies fight song starring Ja Morant. Their season may be over but wait until next year. What's an aborted takeoff called? A plane rolls down the runway and something strange pops up, the flight crew may abort or perform a rejected takeoff. The latest New Orleans Jazz festival was a great event full of stars from the past and present. If the supply chain problem was not bad enough, now infant formula for babies is in short supply to the extent the White House is now involved. What happened to breast feeding? To make money, keep investing. NATO is getting ready to admit its newest member, Finland and Putin is not pleased. This week meet a wingman who has authored a book for children encouraging them to keep working hard even when they come in second. Teaching them to stay steadfast in the race of life.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine changed the global political calculus almost overnight. While catastrophic and horrific in nature, this shift has provided unforeseen opportunities that were unthinkable just a few months ago. The question is how best to mobilize in this darkness to affect positive change moving forward. A psychopath in Russia just committed a war crime by invading Ukraine. Now he's a mass murderer as well. Today's episode examines whether the United States has standing in this fight, the role of NATO since the collapse of the Soviet Union and the bullshit narrative surrounding rising oil and gas prices that literally no one is getting right. We also destroy some current popular right wing talking points about Biden, fossil fuel and energy independence. In the Jim Crow South, African Americans were criminalized. The flip side of that coin, asserts Tammy Ingram, was the decriminalization of whites. Ingram reveals how local authorities tolerated, enabled, and at times actively collaborated with white mobsters in Phenix City, Alabama. (Encore presentation.)
