A government shutdown was prevented on September 30, 2023, after Congress passed a stopgap funding measure in a whirlwind day on Capitol Hill. The bill, which was approved by the House of Representatives and the Senate, funds the government through November 17, 2023. President Joe Biden signed the bill into law late Saturday night, just hours before the midnight deadline that would have triggered a shutdown. The stopgap funding measure was passed in a bipartisan effort, with Democrats and Republicans working together to avoid a shutdown. The bill was also supported by the Biden administration. The shutdown threat was averted after a chaotic day on Capitol Hill. Earlier in the day, the House of Representatives had failed to approve a stopgap funding measure that included additional funding for Ukraine. The measure was opposed by a group of conservative Republicans who objected to the additional spending. However, after the House failed to pass the measure, Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) worked with Democrats to craft a new stopgap funding bill that did not include additional funding for Ukraine. The new bill was passed by the House and the Senate, and was signed into law by President Biden. The government shutdown threat was a reminder of the deep divisions within the Republican Party. The party is divided between more moderate Republicans who are willing to work with Democrats to avoid shutdowns and more conservative Republicans who are opposed to any spending that they view as wasteful. The stopgap funding measure that was passed will keep the government open for the next 45 days. During that time, Congress will need to work to pass a full-year spending bill for fiscal year 2024. If Congress is unable to pass a full-year spending bill by November 17, 2023, another government shutdown will be possible.

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy said nine Biden family members will likely be subpoenaed as part of the Republican-led impeachment inquiry into President Biden. A retired FBI supervisor has revealed to Congress that the bureau's Washington field office had a second “politically connected” informant providing information relevant to the Biden family investigation, but was asked to shut down the source in the fall of 2020 shortly before Joe Biden was elected president, Just the News has learned. President Biden has privately wondered if he will be dead before his son Hunter Biden's legal troubles are resolved. South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace called out ABC News' Jonathan Karl Sunday after he claimed there was no evidence to support launching an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

Everyone knew and lied anyway, but the rotten narrative keeps unraveling

oday we continue to look at how so many people in the current regime knew the truth about the Biden's and lied about it anyway. Their rotten narratives are finally starting to come apart at the seams and the more we learn, the faster it's unraveling. From the Congressional investigations both in the House and the Senate to the whistleblowers, the Biden Crime Family Syndicate is not going to be able to withstand much more of the pressure. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) weighs in with his thoughts on the investigations, the criminality and the two-tiered justice system currently in place. He does remind the audience that Congress controls the purse strings and oversight and it's been nice to see those terms being used. However, we will have to wait to see if they will carry out their Constitutional role. Investigative journalist and author Peter Schweitzer revealed a brand new revelation to the story. It seems Hunter Biden bought a private, global, AT&T phone for his dad to have to conduct private business. It could very well be that was the phone the Ukrainian businessman claimed to have recorded conversations with Joe Biden related to bribes. Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) also discussed the voluminous amount of wrongdoing flowing into and out of the Biden Family. They are both open to impeachment proceedings, but both discuss moving prudently forward to ensure all I's are dotted and T's crossed. I remind my fellow Constitutionalists who are justifiably angered at the two-tiered system, that the GOP has to have an air-tight case to present. And even still, the Legacy/mainstream media will use all of it's weight to misrepresent or smear the effort. Right after Attorney General Merrick Garland's whining about being unfairly attacked for their duplicity, one of the IRS whistleblowers decided to fight back against Garland by naming an additional six witnesses who would be able to rebut his denial of interference in the Hunter Biden investigation. This has also seems to have led to an interesting comment today from Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). During an interview this morning, McCarthy suggested that if it turns out that the whistleblower is telling the truth and Merrick Garland is lying, they are ready to begin an impeachment inquiry as early as July 6. Once again, everyone is being rightfully cautious to make sure they have all of the facts lined up before leaping to any conclusion. However, the longer this plays out, the more it looks like the entire Biden Crime Family cover-up is spiraling out of control. At this point, I would not be surprised if the DNC is quietly working to throw Joe Biden under the bus so they can appoint someone like Gov. Gavin Newsome (D-CA) to take his place on the ticket. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) came out in opposition to the recent debt ceiling deal struck between President Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) over the weekend. Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said on this week's broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) told him that Democrats don't see “one thing” in the debt ceiling deal in their favor. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) heaped praise on Republicans in the wake of a debt ceiling agreement being reached — but snubbed President Joe Biden. As the 2024 election approaches, Democrats are worried that not only will there be a rematch between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden but that a third-party ticket could aid a Republican victory. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won reelection in a runoff Sunday, following a nail-biter first round two weeks earlier. Did Hunter have access to Biden's stolen classified documents?

The Alan Sanders Show

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 25, 2023 37:57

Today's show looks into connecting more dots from the Hunter Biden laptop and to the classified documents that continue to be found in and around Joe Biden's private homes and offices. One email in particular, especially when looking at the chronology of events, does not seem to have been written by Hunter Biden. Thanks to the fantastic journalistic work performed by Miranda Devine of the NY Post, we can reveal how Hunter was suddenly able to demonstrate a deep and vast knowledge over the Geo-political machinations between the UK, Russia, Ukraine and the United States, especially as it relates to energy policy and sanctions. The document reads more like a classified brief created by the State Department, rather than a drug-addled brain. After all, we know Hunter was more interested in doing drugs and hiring prostitutes at this time in his life. The fact Hunter was able to send an email to his then business partner, Devon Archer, with so much detail, just three days after Archer met with VP Joe Biden, is already suspicious. Add to it, after the email, it was only six days later when Joe Biden, at the request of then President Barack Obama, went to visit Ukraine to let them know he would be the face of the administration. Then, within a month, both Devon and Hunter are added the the board of the Ukrainian energy company, Burisma. Now, let's also remind you that Joe Biden actually did commit a quid pro quo with Ukraine later when a prosecutor was looking into allegations of massive corruption at Burisma. And he bragged about it, too! He told everyone Ukraine would not get the promised $1B in aid unless the prosecutor was fired. In less than 6 hours, the prosecutor was fired. Let us also remind you of the subjects of the classified documents found at the Biden Penn Center – they were about the UK, Ukraine and Iran. Ironic coincidence, isn't it? Hunter looks like a renowned subject matter expert in UK and Ukraine just in time to land a multi-million dollar pay-to-play scheme. Even Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) sees the dots connecting pretty easily. My final comment is about my admiration of Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) sticking it to the press over his decision to not seat Adam Schiff (D-CA) or Eric Swalwell (D-CA) on the House Intelligence Committee. The way he punches back at them is a lesson more politicians need to learn and be unafraid to use with the sycophantic members of the Legacy/mainstream media.
