Spokesman for the White House National Security Council Brian Hughes said the messages Goldberg received appear to be “authentic.” In Goldberg's report, he noted that National Security Advisor Michael Waltz was responsible for the mistake and that he may have also violated a federal records law—as Waltz set some of the messages exchanged on Signal to auto-delete after one week. We open with another American, a mother of 5, murdered by a known illegal who should have been deported in 2023. Then we move to AG Pam Bondi who discussed charging people with domestic terrorism and her views on activist judges who are usurping the power of the Executive Branch. She also scolded Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) for inciting violence against Musk. The village idiot responded that she doesn't advocate violence, but then tried to make it about January 6. Ironically, we find another clip of her advocating people punch others and knock them over the head. This leads to a discussion over paid agitators and how they infiltrate crowds in order to stir up trouble. We are reminded of one such person who admitted to getting people whipped up at a Trump Rally in 2016. Investigative reporter Steve Baker found a connection between Aaron Black and Nancy Pelosi and the events of J6. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is pledging hearings of these activist judges. While I appreciate their oversight role, I'd actually like them to DO something. Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-CT) is out there calling for a single-payer government healthcare system. So, I once again have to explain how the system works and the only way it can be made free is if you believe in slavery. Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) wants you to believe his crack about being happy seeing Tesla stock plummet was just a joke. HHS Secretary RFK, Jr. is planning to ban pharmaceutical ads on television. What will the bought and paid for Legacy/mainstream media do if it loses $6 billion annual in those ad buys? As far as tariffs go, who says they don't work? We have over $2.3 trillion in announced investments since Trump has come to office. Finally, we close with a good story surrounding Data Republican and her husband's distillery business. They we doxxed and the campaign began to tank their business. However, it backfired and they sold out all of their product. Today opens with a new game we can all play together. I play a soundbite from Kamala Harris and you have to guess the age of the audience to whom she is addressing. It's a lot of fun. However, there isn't a lot of variety. Once you know the answer to one situation, you pretty much have the answer for all of them. Then I circle back to earlier in the week with my thoughts on why would Mark Zuckerberg decide to send that letter to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Chair of the Weaponization Committee. I think we are seeing the result of Facebook feeling they have been living under a Mafia-style protection racket for too long. We then continue our analysis of how people who should be intelligent enough to know Kamala Harris is the current Vice President, still seem to think she's never been in office before in her life. Today, we use actor Ben Stiller as the most recent example. He is a living version of an oxymoron. The emotional support animal to Harris, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) wants you to believe they are going to lower taxes for the vast majority of Americans, while sticking it to the corporations, since they are all doing “just fine.” So, I take a look at Walz's fiscal record since being elected to run his state. It's abysmal. Plus, the more you tax corporations, the more it hurts the average American. I take a moment to address the dual-interview tonight between Harris and Walz on CNN. The media is bending over backwards to make it look like every team running for the White House has done a tandem interview. Yes, that's true. But, in over 20 years, none of them did that for their first interview. The Presidential nominee always had several solo outings first. ABC News reports they are not going to change the debate rules for Harris. They are going to keep the same ones they had agreed to when Biden was still the elected nominee. We move to a situation in the Sanctuary city of Denver, CO and how it is spilling into nearby Aurora. It seems Venezuelan gangs are taking over whole apartment buildings and crime is growing out of hand. We hear from Councilwoman Danielle Jurinksy about it and concerns from her constituents. Similarly, an independent journalist discovered three hotels on the same street in the Bronx, NY are all being secretly turned into migrant shelters. As she was recording, several moving trucks arrived with brand new furniture to give to the illegals. I then spend some time illustrating the different between gross profits and the net. It's a concept many don't really understand, which allows politicians to use that ignorance to their advantage. This leads to word today that Dollar General stock had dropped more than 26%, prompting the CEO to address the fall off. He said their core customer are “financially constrained.” For some reason, this reminds me of the parallels in the plot line of The Lion King. Remember what happened when someone stepped into the kingship who didn't earn it? Finally, we get a great sound bite from RFK, Jr's selection for VP, Nicole Shanahan. Once again we have a left-leaning person who admits she had been completely misinformed about what “MAGA” really is. She comments that the “coming together of these two groups over the last week...has been really glorious.” Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. Today's show open's with new revelations from Rep. Barry Loudermilk's (R-GA) J6 subcommittee investigation that the Secret Service driver was not allowed to testify for months after Cassidy Hutchinson lied about Donald Trump trying to take control of The Beast. On top of that, it looks like former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WO) was communicating with Hutchinson through Alyssa Farah Griffin, co-host of The View. So, Loudermilk has asked for copies of all communication they had. We then look at a few more moments from yesterday's Judiciary Committee hearing with AG Merrick Garland. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) wanted to know under what law or authority was Jack Smith's office created? Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) wanted to know Garland's plan if the SCOTUS rules against the DOJ misusing 18USC1512(c)(2) on the J6 participants. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) wanted to know if Garland was disappointed in Jack Smith given his admission to tampering with evidence. Garland did not like any of those questions, nor did he deal well with them. The nation's chief law enforcement officer, Merrick Garland, is really the nation's chief lawfare officer. That's that current state in which we are living. A simple analysis done by the Media Research Center shows just how one-sided their coverage was of the lawfare in the Alvin Bragg case in NYC. It turns out, 96% of people who only watched the news on ABC, CBS and NBC would not have known that “star witness” Michael Cohen was a convicted perjurer. And no one would have been told about the Judge's partisan issues and how his daughter was raising millions for Democrats on the case and on anti-Trump messaging. Joe Biden wants us to believe he just now found out he has the authority to pass Executive Orders. He held a presser about his desire to (finally) do something at the border. Well, Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) had some thoughts about that and tried to school the members of the Legacy/mainstream media about their bias. On a positive note, Black Panthers founding member David Hilliard is backing Donald Trump for president, calling him an “ally of the black population.” If polling holds, Trump is currently garnering the most black support for a Republican presidential candidate since Dwight D. Eisenhower. Finally, a gay, cross-dressing man who calls himself Lady Maga USA has been schooling pro-Palestinian supporters at various Pride parades. He is helping to illustrate how the radical Left has been using and abusing these young people both on and off campus. Jim Jordan Leads Charge Against DOJ to Hold Merrick Garland in Contempt of Congress

Real News Now Podcast

The House Judiciary Committee, steered by the formidable Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), advanced a resolution on Thursday to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland responsible for breaching Congressional standards. This action is deemed necessary because the Department of Justice (DOJ) could not provide the potentially damning audio clip of an interview President Joe Biden had with Special Counsel Robert Hur. The interview was a part of an investigation into the President's alleged mismanagement of sensitive material. In a surprising display of executive power, the White House intervened to declare executive privilege over the contentious recording only a few hours before the committee vote. The purpose of this maneuver was an attempt to insulate Garland from the imminent contempt vote. Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs at the DOJ, Carlos F. Uriarte, underscored that the invocation of executive privilege naturally results in contempt of Congress not being pursued in many instances. This sentiment was voiced in a letter addressed to both Chairman Jim Jordan and Chairman James Comer (R-KY). Uriarte added that while the DOJ has made extensive efforts to cooperate with Congress, it is vital to maintain the discretion of law enforcement files. Any disclosure of such material might compromise forthcoming investigations. He further formalized that it is the prerogative of the Attorney General to establish a demarcation to protect the Department from undue political influence and safeguard the essence of their work.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Play Episode Listen Later May 7, 2024 83:01

On today's show, I spend some time on what I think is the most insidious type of bigotry, and that is the bigotry of low expectations. This relates to Gov. Kathy Hochul's (D-NY) statement that young, black children in the Bronx don't even know what the word “computer” is. This leads to John Kirby saying we sometimes have to negotiate with terrorists. He said this knowing Hamas changed some of the language in the negotiated ceasefire, making it obvious they don't have any living hostages anymore. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez managed to step in it twice in the last couple days. First she praised the Biden regime for not sending ammunition to Israel. Then, on the day the world remembers the Holocaust of WWII, she tried to side with and praise Israel. Kash Patel, on the heels of all we discussed yesterday regarding Special Counsel Jack Smith and the setup of the Mar-a-Lago raid, says Judge Canon needs to implement contempt proceedings. Smith should be the one who ends up behind bars. In a separate miscarriage of justice, seems the Bragg prosecutors are not letting Trump's defense lawyers know who will be on the stand until this morning. It leaves them no time to prepare. And while the “hush money” strategy has yet to even come close to making a spark, we can tell you that one of the lead prosecutors on Bragg's team actually did take $12,000 in consulting fees from the DNC. No conflict here at all, right? Next, I bring you a small exchange between Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Rob Flaherty regarding misinformation versus disinformation. The point of this isn't to see if Jordan does anything with it. The point is for me to be able to educate the audience over what our government wants to do in trampling over the First Amendment. When asked if she would attend the GA Senate's investigation into her office, DA Fani Willis said no, because she doesn't recognize unlawful requests. It's nice to be so far above the rest of us, isn't it? While Tulsi Gabbard continues to rise in my books, because she seems to be showing us her core beliefs and how consistent she's been with them versus the total failure from Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) with her book tour. It's been an abysmal last week or so for the governor. Finally, a professor on one of the occupied campuses lamented that police waited until the kids were asleep to begin clearing the camps. And to show you how employers feel about these cosplaying terrorists, 13 Federal Judges say they will no longer hire law clerks from Columbia University. So many of you have reached out to tell me how much you enjoy that, so make sure you follow her today. Victor Davis Hanson recently penned a piece called, “Is the Great Illusion in Ruins?” It goes along with what we've been documenting through the Biden regime. All of the levers of our current society and our country have been overwhelmed to the point of both collapse and total failure. Shouldn't that be the indication the elite have no real idea how the country works or how freedom and liberty are best fostered? All the endeavors the radical progressive Left have been wanting to push have been implemented. I would argue this is as close as they have come to installing their fundamentally transformed government. Yet, look how ruinous it has been over the last three and a half years. Any objective observer can see the policies that seemed so perfect in their world of make-believe, crumble when tried in the real world. We then move to the troubles that continue to mount for the Big Fani Willis RICO case in Georgia. Harrison Floyd is only one thorn in her side, given he says she illegally recorded a phone call with his attorney. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is pushing hard for responses to his oversight committee. Plus, the DOJ is now having to look into how federal grant money was spent by her office versus what was on the application. This goes back to the whistleblower who brought those issues up to Willis. Rather than address the problems, Willis fired the employee. The Legacy/mainstream media, in desperation to help Biden and take the attention off of every failure is doing all they can to revamp the 2020 summer of love. A headline from Chicago reads, “Police fire 96 shots in 41 seconds, killing Black man during traffic stop.” They want BLM/Antifa riots to break out all over again. The problem with that story is the one fact they intentionally leave out. The black man who has been in and out of jail for years, was the one who opened fire first. He unloaded his entire magazine, 11 shots, before the police had no choice but to return fire and eliminate the threat to themselves and innocent civilians. We have a little more from the woman who hugged Donald Trump on his campaign stop at a Chick-fil-A in Atlanta, GA. Michaelah Montgomery was asked to expand on why she told Trump to not listen to the media and to know that they all supported him? She explained how she sees how the media tries to distort and manipulate their audience. She wanted her students to observer first-hand. So they same propagandist media tried to create a divide, saying she and the students were simply paid to say nice things because Trump bought everyone chicken sandwiches and milk shakes. The soft bigotry of low expectation is the most sinister bigotry of all.  Another example of a classic liberal coming to her senses comes from the opinion editor for Newsweek, Batya Ungar-Sargon. She literally said, “If you told me 10 years ago that it would be the Right protecting women's sports and the Left selling women out, I would not have believed you! Just 17% of Americans believe trans athletes should be allowed to compete against women and girls -- why are the Democrats defending this?” BBC host of Talk TV, Julia Hartley-Brewer, illustrated how to deal with those suffering from pronoun issues and other mental health problems. You simply don't allow yourself to be controlled by the person who is not mentally well. Finally, I close with my thoughts on internet trolls. To me, trolls are the lowest form of internet life. They have no real meaning or purpose in the real world. Thus, they fashion an existence online where they convince themselves they are powerful, speaking glorious wisdom, when, in fact, they are just tales told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, the Democrat party refuses to condemn the Islamist mindset spreading throughout our country from one no-go zone to another. People are pouring into this country with no assimilation and come here to hate America and Israel and promote the destruction of Israel. An 18-year-old with connections to ISIS was arrested in Idaho with plans to attack churches, which is part of the new norm thanks to Biden's open border and George Soros prosecutors that release violent criminals. Also, an appellate judge ruled that the case brought by Alvin Bragg, a case that never should have been brought and was turned down three times before Bragg, should continue to move forward and Donald Trump will have to appear before another judge and jury. Biden and the Democrat media are interfering in the election and tilting the scales by weaponizing the justice system. Next, the Democrat party and the Biden Administration stand for infanticide and no restrictions on abortion because they are a cult of death and do not care about the lives of Americans. There is no dispute in the real science that a fetus is a person and not a choice, but we have lost moral clarity in this country. Later, Mark is joined by Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) to talk about the renewal of FISA and the spying on American citizens without a warrant by the FBI. Mark also speaks with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (R-NY) about the failure of the Biden administration to stand with Israel and to stand up to anti-Semitism in America and the Middle East. McAfee approves, Graves threatens, Biden inquiry opening, DEI judge and soft bigotry of low expectations

Today opens with two different court filings. The first is Judge Scott McAfee in Fulton County, Georgia agreeing to push the request by the Defense to have his disqualification ruling reviewed by the Court of Appeals. The second filing is, in my estimation, both a threat to J6'ers and to the SCOTUS from US Attorney Matthew Graves and company. I told you two weeks ago, a 3 judge appeals review in Washington, D.C. ruled that the felony charge of disruption a proceeding was not proper and caused sentencing to be overly harsh. That charge, 1512c2, is also part of what the US Supreme Court is reviewing in the Jack Smith case against Donald Trump. Knowing that the SCOTUS is likely going to also find that statute cannot be used, Graves has fired off a warning that if anyone asks for their already litigated verdicts to be reviewed or vacated, he was going to ask for the maximum sentencing for any of the other charges. In other words, we have a DOJ attorney promising to retaliate with longer sentences. Next we get to Day One of the public hearing of the House Impeaching Inquiry of Joe Biden. I breakdown witness Tony Bobulinski's opening statement, followed by a statement from the head of the Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO). Remember, much of this investigation started from the two IRS whistleblowers who were frustrated with being thwarted and stonewalled by the FBI and the DOJ. Former Hunter Biden Biden business partner, Jason Galanis, testified to business calls where Joe Biden was brought in when Hunter “needed a little help getting across the finish line.” There was another call made to Joe regarding the wife of a Russian Mayor and oligarch. Joe told them to “be good to my boy,” and days later Hunter got millions. By the way, this is the same wife of the Mayor who managed to dodge and White House sanctions on Russia. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) made an opening statement reminding all of us why the inquiry was so important. Remember, there is no way the Senate will convict Joe of anything. But the words Jordan gives us are for us to share with one another to help with the November election. The last soundbite is an exchange between Rep. Jim Jordan and Tony Bobulinski about who “the Big Guy” is. Bobulinski confirms it is Joe Biden and then goes one step further to state that the IRS investigators got subpoenas to pull information out of Apple's iCloud to confirm. In other news that broke yesterday, a Chinese billionaire film mogul admitted to funneling illegal donation to NY politicians including Mayor Adams. It seems the Chinese have found a way to infiltrate and control our elected leaders via lots and lots of money. Maybe that's why the Senate will not vote to convict Biden and why Biden is beholden to Chinese interests. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) shows us just how bad DEI hirings and promotions have become. Judge Nancy L. Maldonado was selected by Biden to serve on the 7th Circuit. Kennedy reveals her utter lack of qualification with one question. We end on the concept of the soft bigotry of low expectation. Washington State's Supreme Court just ruled that the bar exam should no longer be a requirement because it is too hard for people color. You cannot be any more degrading, condescending and bigoted than to tell someone they are incapable of achieving. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. On Friday, America First contender Brandon Gill unveiled his latest television ad in the hotly contested Republican primary for Texas' 26th congressional district. The 30-second spot highlights the endorsement of the Texan by the 45th President, Donald Trump, alongside backing from prominent conservative figures such as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), the House Freedom Caucus, and numerous others. Bolstered by this support, Gill's campaign has amassed a formidable war chest of at least $1.5 million, fueled by fervent backing from the conservative grassroots across the nation. "President Trump endorsed Brandon Gill for Congress because Brandon Gill embodies the conservative principles we hold dear. President Trump hailed Brandon Gill as a genuine patriot and the undisputed champion of America First values, particularly in securing our nation's borders," the ad declares. It then segues into a clip of Trump rallying voters to support Gill, urging Texans to cast their ballots in his favor. "Texas, let's rally behind Brandon Gill for Congress. He will never falter in representing your interests." "Stand shoulder to shoulder with President Trump in safeguarding our border. Vote Brandon Gill for Congress," the ad concludes.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Mike Johnson (R-LA). Yesterday, Republicans in the House of Representatives elected Johnson their new Speaker. His election ended three weeks without a Speaker, and came after Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Tom Emmer (R-MN) all failed to win a full floor vote after being nominated by the party. Johnson unified the party, winning the votes of all 220 Republicans in attendance, while all 209 Democrats present voted for Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY). The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (10/24/2023): 3:05pm- Luke Broadwater, of The New York Times, writes: “Representative Tom Emmer of Minnesota, the No. 3 House Republican, on Tuesday secured his divided party's nomination to be speaker, after five rounds of secret balloting to break a deadlock that has left Congress leaderless and paralyzed for three weeks. But the narrow margin of his victory reflected that House Republicans were still deeply at odds, and a swift backlash from the right, including from former President Donald J. Trump, suggested his candidacy was in peril. Immediately following his nomination, about two dozen right-wing Republicans indicated that they did not intend to vote for Mr. Emmer on the floor, denying him the majority he would need to succeed in a vote of the full House.” Emmer won the internal Republican vote 117 to 97. You can read Broadwater's full report here: https://www.nytimes.com/live/2023/10/24/us/house-speaker-vote/house-speaker-election?smid=url-share 3:15pm- In response to Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) winning the Republican nomination for House speaker, Donald Trump posted to his Truth Social account: “I have many wonderful friends wanting to be Speaker of the House, and some are truly great Warriors. RINO Tom Emmer, who I do not know well, is not one of them. He never respected the Power of a Trump Endorsement, or the breadth and scope of MAGA—MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! He fought me all the way, and actually spent more time defending Ilhan Omar, than he did me—He is totally out-of-touch with Republican Voters. I believe he has now learned his lesson, because he is saying that he is Pro-Trump all the way, but who can ever be sure? Has he only changed because that's what it takes to win? The Republican Party cannot take that chance, because that's not where the America First Voters are. Voting for a Globalist RINO like Tom Emmer would be a tragic mistake!” 3:20pm- On Tuesday, House majority whip Tom Emmer was selected as the next Republican nominee for speaker. However, a decade ago, Emmer was an advocate for implementing a national popular vote—ostensibly eliminating the electoral college. Does this past advocacy disqualify him from the speakership? However, a decade ago, Emmer was an advocate for implementing a national popular vote—ostensibly eliminating the electoral college. Does this past advocacy disqualify him from the speakership? But it could not be less folly to abolish liberty, which is essential to political life, because it nourishes faction, than it would be to wish the annihilation of air, which is essential to animal life, because it imparts to fire its destructive agency.” Madison argues against a direct democracy—concluding that a representative republic allows for factionalism without the dangerously reactive outcomes that result in governmental instability. Rich argues that Rep. Tom Emmer's past advocacy for the abolition of the electoral college moves the United States closer to the problematic direct democracy that Madison warned about. 4:35pm- BREAKING NEWS: Rep. Earlier in the day, Emmer had won the nomination 117 to 97 after five rounds of balloting. Members of the House Freedom Caucus are calling for Rep. In a statement to the court, Ellis explained: “In the frenetic pace, attempting to raise challenges in several states including Georgia, I failed to do my due diligence. The Republican nominee for speaker, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), received 199 votes on Wednesday's vote—well short of the 217 votes he needed to win a majority of the House and one fewer vote than he received on Tuesday. Jordan told reporters that he will not withdraw from the speakership race, but he is open to temporarily expanding the powers of Speaker pro tempore Patrick McHenry (R-NC) until the Republican party can coalesce around one candidate. For those closely following the latest headlines out of Washington, the GOP's efforts to elect a new Speaker of the House appears as if it's a neverending quest. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) lost the House speaker vote for a second time on Wednesday, nearly a week after Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) ended his speaker bid. Major's guest this week is Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO), who thinks Republicans could consider pressing pause on their quest and look to a temporary Speakership to break the current impasse. While it's not his preferred approach, Buck is intrigued by the idea of having the current Speaker Pro Tempore, Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-SC), be elected as Speaker on a temporary basis. Thanks to Capitol Hill's Santa Rosa Taqueria for hosting us this week!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
