Dr. Chaps is joined in studio by Dr. John Constantine, who is working with hand-in-hand ministries and bringing the Gospel to the nations through the nations. Hand in Hand says this about the approach they have to ministry. As God's people, we don't create opportunities for Christian ministry; we merely accept those the Lord provides. “For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10) We prayerfully seek to find the doors opened to us by our Lord, who says, “I am the door,” and calls on us to “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8) Get free alerts at http://PrayInJesusName.org © 2023, Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt, PhD. Today, Senator Jim DeMint and Dr. Chaps consider the epic battle we fight as Christians. Senator DeMint discusses his new book, "Satan's Dare." If God asked Satan to consider you, would you pass the "dare?" 'Jim DeMint has fought tirelessly for freedom, prosperity, and traditional American values against the Washington swamp for over two decades. Today, he leads and trains a new generation of conservative warriors as Chairman of the Conservative Partnership Institute. DeMint represented South Carolina in the U.S. House (1999–2005) and U.S. Senate (2005–2013). Known for policy innovation, he authored leading conservative reforms in health care, education, taxes, and entitlements. DeMint garnered national acclaim from conservatives for leading efforts to ban congressional earmarks, the source of billions of dollars of wasteful spending for decades, which had led to corruption and widespread abuse. He also successfully led the fight to stop the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill in 2007. DeMint is also the founder of the Senate Conservatives Fund, which played a major role in the election of many of the Senate's leading conservatives, like Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Tom Cotton. Joe Dalton shares his amazing testimony and his ministry with Dr. Chaps. Jane and Joe Dalton helped establish the PRC of Rolla shortly after moving to the town in 2006. The Daltons were leading a national pro-life organization and raising eight children when they decided it would be better to do so in a rural setting. Within a day of their arrival, two people called to say they had been begging God to send a pro-life anchor to that community. The nonprofit center offers a wide range of services to women who are pregnant and in crisis or need, including consultations with certified, professional life coaches who help clients make decisions based on their own needs. Expectant mothers who want long-term help, structure, and life coaching can choose, like Faith, to live in PRC's maternity residence. Dr. Chaps got to hear how one man said, "I will rock for Jesus and not for the man." This man is Pastor Caspar McCloud. Caspar McCloud is a virtuoso guitarist, singer, and songwriter, an acclaimed portrait artist, as well as an equestrian, ordained minister, and bestselling author of five previous books. A modern-day Renaissance man, the multi-talented McCloud has wowed fans and fellow guitarists with his lightening fast technique, his use of effects, a la his friend and mentor Phil Keaggy, as well as his gentle, serene, Celtic-tinged acoustic playing. Caspar's first book was his inspiring autobiography entitled "Nothing is Impossible", which includes his testimony of turning from the glittery, rock star world to wholeheartedly following Christ as a result of his longterm friendship with Phil Keaggy. The book also shares the dramatic story of his medically verified healing of an incurable heart condition. His second book, What Was I Thinking, published by Destiny Image, deals with the spiritual roots of disease and the science of epigenetics, which is the science of how thought effects physiology, through the lens of the Holy Bible. Exposing the Spirit of Self-Pity continues that theme, focusing on the deleterious effects of self-pity.
