This week on the KOKO Show we got down and dirty with the buff, broad and beautiful captain of the NSW Waratahs Mr Matt Philip. With Matt riding comfortably in our side-car of craziness, the lads chat about the Tahs hot start to 2026, his return home to skipper his childhood team and lastly we play a little game of TRUE of FALSE the Matt Philip edition. Plus, the boys get hot and bothered about round two of the Superb Rugby, talking all things oval ball in the Pacific, as well as, a little trip up North to chat Six Nations footy, focussing heavily on French flare and English despair. Furthermore, Drew this week has been enamoured about the plight of the Japanese monkey Punch and his hardships he has faced after being disowned and bullied in captivity. Thus, we have launched a new segment where the boys illuminate something in their lives that they just can't let go of, all whilst holding ‘Hope' the orangutan of comfort. Lastly but certainly not the least, we are back with a couple of juicy segments to round out the ep, Swoop adds a few more items to his Temu cupboard and the lads play a little game called ‘Guess that Salad'. So sit back, relax and think about how shit England is at rugby. If that can't make you smile then you must be dead inside, but for now it is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. The Super Rugby season is screaming towards us at 1000 miles an hour. Today, the teams for round one were announced, and it drives home just how close we are. For the record, this week's picks are. Sully: Crusaders, Reds, Fiji, Blues, Brumbies. Happy: Crusaders, Reds, Fiji, Chiefs, Force. Butz: Crusaders, Reds, Fiji, Blues, Force I think the game to watch is the Blues v Chiefs game, but Force v Brumbies and Reds v Tahs should also be great. As always we hope you enjoy.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

What do Steve and Mike Wosniak have in common? Well, it's not rugby as we find out in this mythbusting ERB episode. There was a lot of rugby to cover with the international season underway. The Boks managed to keep down an unexpectedly strong Italian espresso with no help from the bomb squad (cue the fireworks). New Zealand nearly choked on a C-grade baguette while Fiji couldn't quite stomach an undercooked kangaroo steak. We expected a mauling from the Lions but it was with a hiss rather than a roar that they overcame the Tahs. This and more in a bumper episode from Ant, Phil and Andy. Music by @monstroid, 80s TV Show.

Last night I had the opportunity to sit down with the fabulous and engaging former Brumby and current Waratahs tight head, Tom Ross. Tom talks about how he escaped the barren wastelands of the ACT and signed with the Tahs in November 2023. He reflects on a fair prop education while down south with one or two reasonable prop mentors and some useful coaches as well. 2024 saw Tom in the Tahs starting XV before he too succumbed to the Tahs curse, doing his MCL five minutes into the match against the Chiefs, but battled it out till halftime. Tom is on the recovery trail and we discuss all things rugby. From his rugby trajectory, to how to help Sonny-Bill Williams evolve as a commentator and everything else in between. Special thanks to the Waratah media team for the opportunity and also to Tom. 'Tross' (must be short for Albatross) was a terrific guest and ''much better than Julian Heaven'' (Tom's words). We talked Brumbies rugby, coaches, life at the Tahs and a whole lot more. Sit down, pour yourself a refreshing beverage and enjoy. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
After a will-they won't-they saga all season, the Waratahs have decided to let Darren Coleman go. The boys are here to discuss all in this FLASH pod! But was it a good decision? Why do the Waratahs seem to change but get no better? How come the state with the biggest population and the most rugby players in Oz is perpetually disappointing, like pesto pasta writ large and in an out-of-form Super Rugby form? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
To kick off this new series, our first guest has been a revelation at the Tahs this year. Starting the year on a 'training contract', injuries to other players coupled with his own rising form saw him demand a spot on the pine and then quickly into the starting team. Currently recovering from a shoulder injury, we welcome NSW Waratahs hooker, Julian Heaven. Special thanks to the Simon at Waratah Media for his co-operation and support. And of course to 'The Axe' himself, who as you'll hear is not just a cracking person, but also a young rugby player, working multiple jobs all in the pursuit of his rugby goals. The boys are back in town! The boys being the Tahs and the town being good ol' Syd-da-ney. Nick, Nathan and Josh are here to talk about the Tahs, Reds, Rebels and more. How good are the Tahs? Will Swinton ever see red? What's up with the Reds? McReight or McWrong - whats with these judiciary decisions? The Rebels are looking good aren't they! Should Debreczeni start for the Wallabies? (red hot I know) and should the Waratahs Women swap with the Mens? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
