Ele abriu as portas, literalmente", comemora.

Matt Dunning, a former professional rugby player for the Waratahs, Western Force, and the Wallabies, has undergone a remarkable transformation in his approach to health and nutrition. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing between 120-125 kg during his rugby career as a prop, Matt was known for his robust physique and love for food and drink. After retiring from rugby, Matt experienced significant weight fluctuations, dropping from 132 kg to 86 kg in just 8 months through extreme measures. However, this was followed by years of yo-yo dieting, with his weight oscillating between 92 kg and 110 kg. He tried various diets and fasting methods, including water fasts, juice fasts, vegetarianism, and intermittent fasting, but none provided lasting results. By January 2022, Matt was frustrated with his ongoing battle with weight and nutrition. After a particularly challenging period where he lost weight through a 76-day juice fast, only to regain it quickly, he decided to make a change. This led him to the ketogenic diet, which proved to be a game-changer. For the first time, he experienced weight loss and maintenance without constantly worrying about food intake. Transitioning from carbohydrates to fats came with its challenges, such as keto flu and adjusting to higher fat consumption. Fortunately, Matt had the support of Alex McDonald, who guided him through the process with expertise and encouragement. Alex, known for completing five marathons in five days while fasting, provided the confidence and research-backed advice Matt needed. After a year on keto and another year on a carnivore diet, Matt feels better than ever. He no longer relies on daily weigh-ins, as his clothing tells the story of his success. This journey has led him to a healthier, more balanced life, free from the constant struggle with weight and diet.
