Our guest today is the 2021 National Proficiency Winner in Equine Entrepreneurship, and after listening to this interview it will be clear why she was selected. Raley Downing has been riding horses since before she can remember and barrel racing since she was four years old.  Horses, cattle and agriculture have always been a part of her life. While she was in the 7th Grade, already showing great ability to train horses, her older brother had a horse he didn't like.  He gave that horse to Raley to see if she could make something of it, and she did.  She recognized that the horse did not have the cow ability that her brother was looking for, but that it could be a good horse for barrel racing.  She trained it, sold it, paid her brother back for his costs and made a profit.  A business was born.

Sadra Azizi aka Doctor Soles is a gastroenterologist, sneaker collector, YouTuber, and comedian. He attended Troy High School in Troy, New York. Sadra was a loser in high school. He didn't attend prom. He didn't get a yearbook. He never even attended a single party, but his life turned for the better. Sadra currently lives in a penthouse apartment in New York City. He has a sneaker collection worth well over $100k, has a strong Youtube following, and has also decided to pursue stand-up comedy. We talk about how doing comedy is super humbling, feeling useless, how women appear when you're in a relationship, struggling to get friends over to your apartment, getting cheese poured down the back of your shirt, apologizing after you get bullied, and Sadra even shows us his ultimate sneaker closet. When 12-year-old Hannah sat down on the bench alongside the Troy High School volleyball team in the first week of moving north, she had no idea what she was in for! The compassion shown to me by those girls (to whom I was only a stranger) would later give me the drive to seek involvement in my high school activities so that I, too, could show compassion and warmth. It is an experience that I don't even know if they remember, but the ways in which they made me feel welcome when the hard move was still fresh in my mind continues to impact me today. Noah interviews Brooks Hall on giving his life to Jesus Christ a little over a year ago. Brooks won the 1999 Mr. Ohio Basketball award, given to the best player in the state. He went on to be a 4-year starter at the University of Dayton (3x all conference), as well as a career in professional basketball.  He currently is a radio commentator for the University of Dayton basketball team and the founder of and recruiting coordinator for Brooks Hall Basketball Consulting, helping high school basketball players get college scholarships. Antista grew up in Fullerton, CA and once he reached his teens, he became fully invested in the flourishing Orange County punk scene of the late 1970s/early ‘80s. One of the tightest bonds he forged in high school was with Steve Soto of Agent Orange and the Adolescents, a staunch friend and ally who tragically died in 2018 at the age of 54. “I had never thought about playing an instrument until 1979 when punk rock exploded at my high school, Troy High School in Fullerton,” reveals Antista.​
