This past week at the WGC Dell Match Play was a birdie fest and saw Sam Burns, Cam Young, Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler dueling it out in their matches on Sunday. Sam Burns notably going -6 for 8 holes in the middle of the championship match against Cam Young. We won't see Match Play or Austin CC for a while, and we'll miss it (2:03). This week we have the Valero Texas Open, which bodes as the final chance to get into the Masters; a win this week will punch your ticket to Augusta (22:25). We'll also talk about the gang's dog birthday party this weekend, and our round at Maple Run, which is undergoing a noticeable list of renovations. (26:08).

It's golf history week with our resident golf historian, plus hosts Alex Lauzon and Michael Russell look back on other goings on in the world of golf and more this past week. For the first time since 2018, Jordan Spieth has returned to the Copperhead Course to play the Valspar Championship. Considering the strength of field, it should be a good chance for Spieth to pick up his first win since the RBC Heritage. The four of us played in a tournament at Southern Highlands that was hosted by the Las Vegas Raiders Quarterback Derek Carr! We then dominated the Five Iron Golf league night and wrapped up the week with a VGN Tournament where Dan won the Gross and Sean W won the Net.
