A return to be forgotten, a new apparel line, and LPGA great, and a coaching legend all on this week's podcast, hosted by Alex Lauzon and Michael Russell. Oh, and Hideki Matsuyama won (1:36). The Myrtle Beach Classic is having a YouTube qualifier this weekend, where top content creators will get a chance to compete in the new tournament later this year (7:23). This weekend is the Mexico Open at Vidanta, where Tony Finau defends. Michael asks is Tony will win, or if legend Padraig Harrington will (16:26). LPGA legend Sherri Steinhauer chatted with Alex from the PGA Show floor. Sherri shared stories of winning the British Open three times, how the Solhiem Cup has grown since she was on the team, and how pickle ball brought her back to golf (17:55). Known for coaching the likes of Arnold Palmer, Phil Mickelson, and Lee Janzen, Rick Smith chatted with Alex from the PGA Show about how golf instruction has changed in his over 30 years, and what it was like coaching the greatest that ever played the game (33:17). Plus a new "bag cam" made an appearance, and all the JTs got into an argument about whose the real JT (1:44). LIV Golf played in Tuscon this week, and they finished off the week with a 4 man playoff that, in typical LIV fashion, nobody watched (8:02). Growing up I watched Greg Norman choke over and over again, but never more spectacularly than at the 1996 Masters when he squandered a six stroke lead and managed to lose by 5 shots to Nick Faldo. 20 years later, Jordan Speith suffered a similar fate at Augusta, when he inexplicably quadruple-bogeyed the 12th hole in the final round. It happens in golf, but it also happens in basketball, football, baseball, hockey, and tennis. It happens in every sport, in fact, it happens in every arena of life. AC Milan disintegrated before fans eyes in the 2005 European Cup Final. Leading 3- Nil, Liverpool scored three times in five minutes and won on penalties. The biggest choke in NBA history was by the Golden State Warriors, who entered the 2016 NBA Finals as favorites after winning a mind blowing and record setting 73 games during the regular season. They won the first two games of the finals, lead three/one after four games, and proceeded to implode and loose to the Cavaliers. In the NFL, the Falcons 2017 self-inflicted demise is unmatched. They squandered a 25 point third-quarter lead to lose Superbowl LI to the Patriots.Anything can happen on the golf course, football field, basketball court, and soccer field, because anything can happen in our minds. It's the challenges from within that are often the most difficult in life. HeadTrash is the fiercest opponent any competitive sports person has ever faced. When the best in the world choke, people don't wonder, why did he do that or why didn't she do this instead. They all ask the same question: What was he thinking? What was she thinking? Unconsciously, even a casual spectator, knows that the person got lost in their HeadTrash. It not a question of ability. Everyone knows Greg Norman was capable of winning the 1996 Masters. Something very unhealthy was happening in his mind. The same is true for AC Milan, The Golden State Warriors, the Atlanta Falcons, and Jordan Spieth. It was not a question of ability. In every instance, HeadTrash won. Don't let your HeadTrash get the better of you. Everyone exeperinces it. Now lets take a look at The Ultimate Weapon Against HeadTrash in Part Six.”If you have not read LIFE IS MESSY, order your copy today: https://amzn.to/2TTgZKn Subscribe to Matthew's YouTube Channel today! https://www.youtube.com/c/MatthewKellyAuthor/featured?sub_confirmation=1https://www.matthewkelly.comGet Matthew's 60 Second Wisdom delivered to your inbox: https://www.matthewkelly.com/subscribe The Best Version of Yourself and 60 Second Wisdom are registered trademarks.#MatthewKelly #BestVersionOfYourself #BestVersion

On this week's episode, the boys are celebrating 420 and also attempting to talk sports. A couple Wide Receivers are making news in the NFL by holding out for new contracts. With the Draft just 1 week away Deebo Samuel is making trade demands. The USFL plays there first week and the stat lines are very underwhelming. Couto has a date to look forward to as the NHL sets the Draft Lottery for May 10th. The Leafs make history with their 50th win and 108th point of the season (both Franchise highs). There are a number of 100pt scorers already this year with a couple additional trying to get over the hump as the race for the final playoff spots in the West heats up. We've decided that Pujols is looking like Couto on the basepaths these days, Miguel Cabrera is 1 hit away from joining the 3000 hit club, the Oakland A's are drawing less fans than some minor league teams and Hosk gives an update on his Blue Jays betting model. The NBA playoffs are in full swing, the Raps are in tough against the 76ers, the West matchup seem to be the ones to watch and the boys watch on as the Raps go to OT in Game 3. Hosk has stuff to talk about including Jordan Speith winning on Easter Sunday for the 2nd year in a row, Dylan Fritelli introduces us to another of Golf's ridiculous rules, Villanova head coach Jay Wright announces his retirement and we recap the last week of play on Survivor and Big Brother Canada.
