Hoe moeten we in vredesnaam indruk maken op Poetin als onze Nederlandse overheid niet eens raad weet met vechtende asielzoekers in Ter Apel en straatterreur van jonge allochtonen in Amsterdam en Zandvoort? Hoe komt het dat onze politici, ambtenaren en politiecommissarissen niet verder komen dan wat schuiven met papier? Dat is een hoofdthema in dit videogesprek van WIERD DUK en SYP WYNIA voor WWTV (ook te beluisteren als podcast). Wierd zegt de afgelopen tijd verder teleurgesteld te zijn geraakt in de onmacht, de onwil en de machteloosheid van de boven ons gestelden om te doen wat de meerderheid van Nederland al tientallen jaren wil, zoals het beperken van immigratie en asiel en het grenzen stellen aan de islamisering. In de uren voor dit videogesprek was Wierd op reportage in Vegelinsoord in Friesland, waar hij getroffen werd door de bijna ideale plattelandswereld daar, die veel lijkt op het vroegere, maar in ‘parallelle samenlevingen' verdwijnende Nederland in steden als Amsterdam en Rotterdam. Syp probeert Wierd nog een hart onder de riem te steken, met de vaststelling dat de politici die blind blijven ijveren voor ‘diversiteit', ‘multiculturele samenleving' en graag flirten met islam daar een steeds hogere prijs voor betalen door steeds minder Kamerzetels. Bovendien is links niet meer zo overtuigd van het eigen morele gelijk, waardoor zelfs het begrip ‘links' in het defensief is geraakt. Je zou kunnen zeggen dat links alleen nog de baas is van de overheidsinstellingen: de ministeries, de adviesraden en de rechters. Die afbrokkeling van moralistisch en irreëel links zou toch tot meer verstandig beleid moeten kunnen leiden. Maar probleem is natuurlijk wel dat rechts verdeeld is en/of buiten spel staat, al dan niet (gedeeltelijk) door eigen toedoen. Over het nieuwe kabinet-Jetten, over het versplinteren van rechts, over de kansen voor Mona Keijzer als ze een poging wil wagen de nieuwe leider van rechts te worden, over Forum voor Democratie en de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen en over Poetin en Oekraïne, vier jaar na de Russische inval. Wierd Duk zegt dat het uiteenvallen van de Boer Burger Beweging hem in zoverre verbaast, dat de nieuwe leider, Henk Vermeer, vaak verstandige dingen zei die best op één lijn zaten met de nu gepasseerde kandidaat-leider, Mona Keijzer. Syp Wynia veronderstelt toch een cultuurverschil en vraagt zich af of het wel ooit een goed idee was om Keijzer te vragen als boegbeeld van BBB. Wierd dicht Mona Keijzer overigens goede kansen ('20, 25 Kamerzetels') toe als ze mede met behulp van andere BBB'ers zou willen proberen een partij op te richten en de nieuwe leider van rechts te worden. Duk noemt het ‘van een totale krankzinnigheid dat er nu een kabinet aantreedt dat in bijna alle opzichten met de rug naar de samenleving staat, zelfs naar de eigen kiezers.' ‘Hoe kun je gelijktijdig niets doen aan de massale immigratie, waardoor je ook niets doet aan de woningnood en ga je wel bezuinigen op de zorg en de sociale zekerheid en de privileges van de nieuwkomers zoals de sociale huurwoning voor statushouders niet aantast?' ‘Dan wordt die landelijke overheid daarbij ook nog eens gesteund door de lokale overheid, die ook zo graag die AZC's in gemeente willen hebben. Waardoor de overheid in oorlog raakt met de eigen burgers.' Wierd Duk is dan wel kritisch op Forum voor Democratie dat omstreden kandidaten op de gemeenteraadslijsten heeft staan, maar dicht die partij goede kansen toe bij de aanstaande gemeenteraadsverkiezingen. Omdat FvD anders dan de concurrentie op rechts wel in veel gemeenten meedoet en anders dan PVV en BBB al langere tijd geen onrust in eigen gelederen hebben. En de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen van 18 maart, die zouden wel eens over de Spreidingswet (van AZC's) kunnen gaan. Over het uitzichtloos ogende bloedvergieten in Oekraïne zijn Duk en Wynia het in grote trekken eens waar een houdbare deal minstens aan zou moeten voldoen. Wynia: ‘Rusland krijgt het overwegend Russischtalige deel van Oekraïne dat ze al grotendeels in handen hebben, in ruil voor keiharde toezeggingen dat Moskou de onafhankelijkheid van de rest van Oekraïne accepteert. Duk: ‘En het westen zal moeten accepteren dat een land als Rusland een eigen invloedssfeer wil. Zoals de VS en China die ook hebben.'
