This is a vulnerable one. I was going to do it next month with the upcoming Let's Talk episodes about Body Positivity and the conversation with Morgan Cheek of Winmo Fitness, but I felt like Holy Spirit nudged and said this is the time to do it. That unexpected turn last week in Created With Purpose on Psalm 19 and 29 really made the connection too good to ignore. So, this is a little different. I wrote about two and a half pages about Psalm 139:14 and I am going to share it with you.Keep learning:Follow along with the full show notes on the website Recommended Bibles (if you purchase via these affiliate links, you will support Bible Talk!): NIV Chronological Study Bible, Hardcover NIV Life Application Study Bible The Passion Translation New Testament The Jesus Bible Artist Edition NLT Wide Margin Bible NET Full Notes Bible NRSV CS Lewis Bible NKJV Wiersbe Study Bible Mr. Pen Highlighters ---Bible Talk - a weekly podcast series by Nothin' But Fine. Do you shame and degrade yourself? Are you highly critical of yourself? This message draws from Psalm 139 that reveals the immense value that humanity has to God and how knowing God allows the believer to recognize one's self worth and the value of all people.

One of the wonderful verses in the Bible in regard to our identity is Psalm 139:14. But it is also confusing when we misinterpret this verse. What would be the correct interpretation of this verse in the context of Psalm 139 and what is the true message the psalmist wanted to communicate with us from the text? Let's study together.

“I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well” (v.14). The psalmist is talking about the miracle of conception and birth. It’s an amazing story (vv.13,14). Someone defined a baby as something that gets you up at night and gets you down during the day. That may be true, but so are the words of poet Carl Sandberg; “A baby is God’s opinion that the world should go on.” When we contemplate human birth, our first response ought to be reverence. The God of the galaxies is the God who is concerned about the colour of the baby’s hair and the genetic structure of yet unborn child. We ought to bow in the reverence before God and worship Him, because each individual child is a part of His handiwork. We don’t understand why some children are born handicapped or exceptional in some areas. But God knows. Our next response should be confidence. We can trust God because He made us as we are. He knew all about each of us before we were born. Finally we should respond with obedience. We can take what God has given us and use it for His glory. Invest what you do have to serve Him, instead of searching for something which you don’t have. *******^******* When you contemplate the miracle of birth, praise God. As you respond in reverence, confidence and obedience, determined to be a good steward with the personal resources and talents He gave you. Good stewardship honors God.

Hey Beauties, Today I am going to discuss femininity and ways to unlock your feminine energy as part of the femininity series. Tapping into your femininity doesn't happen overnight. Some of us have learned the art of femininity. And some of us are discovering how to apply femininity to our daily lives. Sure you can look and dress the part, but not be the part. Similar to masculinity. Some men dress like men and act like it until you get to know them and realize this is not the masculine energy I need in life. The major step in unlocking your feminine energy is to work on the inner qualities. I believe its important to work from the inside out. Listen to the podcast to learn how you can begin today! Stay tuned for the next podcast: using your physical qualities to unlock your femininity. My calling is to encourage you to be the best version of yourself and for you to truly believe "You are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" (Psalm 139:14). I love to interact with my audience. Hi Beauties, As you are on your journey to becoming the better version of yourself, you will lose friends and discern fake friends. Who you surround yourself with is important and will affect your mental. Do not force someone to be your friend. Hold your friends to high standards. You should not be the only one initiating phone calls and hang outs. You have more to offer than to just be used at a (fake) friend's convenience. Most importantly, when you begin losing friends (without fault of your own), learn to let go. Create room for new fresh friendships. You can't take everyone on your journey and do not force loyalty. Jesus had fake friends too. Trust me you will get through this. Wish them well! My calling is to encourage you to be the best version of yourself and for you to truly believe "You are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" (Psalm 139:14). I love to interact with my audience. Hi Beauties, Today's podcast is a continuation of the previous podcast: "Identifying Quality Men." Today we discuss how to treat quality men during quarantine. I'm not a relationship expert, but I am an attorney. Did you know Divorce law is one of the booming areas of law right now? (and likely after stay-at-home Orders are lifted?). Here are some ways you can use your femininity (charm/energy) to increase affection in your relationship. My podcast might not save your relationship/marriage, but I am sure it will add to it if you follow my tips :) And if it saves your marriage, leave me a voice message/email me. I would be excited to hear your testimony. My calling is to encourage you to be the best version of yourself and for you to truly believe "You are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" (Psalm 139:14). Hey Beauties, high quality men are somewhat rare nowadays. Masculine (alpha) men are generally toxic in our society. We see this in our families, work, relationships/marriages, etc. However, high quality men exist. What is a high quality-man? I share qualities of a high quality (masculine) man that you should identify. Surround yourself with high quality men in your environments. The more High quality men you know, the better outlook you will have and your subconscious mind will convince you that this is the only type of man that is worth your time. Being around high quality men allows you to fall back into your femininity and embrace your femininity. You also SMILE more because of the healthy-masculine energy. :) My calling is to encourage you to be the best version of yourself and for you to truly believe "You are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" (Psalm 139:14). Hi beauties, creating standards for yourself in relationships, family ties, and work environment is challenging, but NECESSARY. Your standards are not "Too high." With over 7billion people in the world, there is someone out there that can reach and exceed your standards/expectations. If you do not set standards, people will walk all over you. Most relationships in this world are transactional. Therefore, you must have standards. Standards create guidelines and inform others how to treat you. It is your responsibility to show the world how you should be treated. You are the CEO of your life. The employees don't control the CEO. The CEO has the final say. Therefore, take control of your life and terminate the people that cannot satisfy your standards. And promote the people that are willing to. So whether you have zero or high standards, watch my podcast and learn more tips on elevating your standards. "FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE" March 18th I remember searchlights as a boy. Beams of light would sweep across the sky from near where I lived. They were searching for enemy planes, if they found one they would lock on to it and the gunners would try to shoot it down. My wife Fran had gunners right near her house. We were reminded of this by our reading of Psalm 139 today. "Oh LORD you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up … you search out my path" [Psalm 139:1-3]. But David realizes that God's power to "see" extends far beyond what we do physically. We read, "you discern my thoughts from afar … even before a word is on my tongue …" [Psalm 139:4] In the language young people use today, they would describe as 'awesome' the thought that God knows our thoughts before we even put them into words. That really is a searchlight on the mind. We cannot limit the meaning to David personally. BUT there is even more than this in what he writes, a wonderful inspiration by God! We read, "For you formed my inward parts , you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made … your eyes saw my unformed substance." [Psalm 139:13,14,16]. Today, clever men have unravelled some of the secrets of DNA and the human genome. David was inspired to write 3,000 years ago of his "unformed substance," i.e DNA. Finally, the word 'SEARCH' occurs again at the climax of the Psalm, Search me O God, and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts … and lead me in the way everlasting." [Psalm 139:23,24] Would I, would you, want to sense God's searchlight on your thoughts? If the answer is "No" then should it not also be 'No' to the question as to whether we want to led by God in the way everlasting?
You have been knitted together by the God of the universe. Take comfort in this and humbly worship Him.

In this episode I share my story about unkind words that were spoken over my life at a very young age, and the impact those words had on my life Spiritually until God broke the curse of those words through His Son Jesus Christ. Words and how we use them are extremely important. Our words can either uplift or tear down. It is important that we use our words carefully and wisely. The Bible tells us that we will give account for every idle word spoken out of our mouths. Our words can either Bless or Curse. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Remember no matter what anyone says about you, "You are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" Psalm 139:14

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made - Psalm 139:11-16
Speaker: Daf Meirion-Jones Passage: Psalm 139 Series: Other2018 Recorded: 18.11.2018 AM
We all want to know by others and yet we don't really want to be fully known. What a conundrum! The Psalmist, David, does a great job of looking at this apparent contradiction of human nature and points out some amazing truths about our God and our relationship with God.
God’s creation is beautiful. It is perfect and wonderfully made. From the oceans to the mountains, we don’t need to look far to see the wonder of God’s creation. Yet, many of us struggle with what we see in the mirror. But, you (yes, you!) are God’s creation. That means YOU are perfect and beautiful and wonderful. “It's a holocaust like the world has yet to see. In fact, just to put it in perspective, Stalin was guilty of murdering 40 million of his own countrymen. Hitler, 30 million human beings. The United States, since Roe v. Wade (not globally, but the United States), has blown past both of those brothers and has made them look angelic as we have slaughtered wholesale 55 million little boys and little girls.” - Matt Chandler, 1/25/2015

God’s creation is wonderful and magnificent and beautiful. Just don’t forget… This includes you. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. -Psalm 139:14 About One Verse One Verse is a short, free podcast devotional designed to help you grow closer to God through less than 5 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Consistency trumps intensity. When it comes to working out, eating healthy, or managing our finances, consistency always trumps intensity. We reach our major life goals through small, purposeful steps taken daily. The same is true in our spiritual lives. I truly believe you will grow closer to God by spending just 5 minutes a day with Him versus cramming in an hour once a month. The One Verse Devotional is here to help take away the barriers of spending time with God. Now, during your workout, drive to work, or even shopping for groceries, you can invest in your spiritual life. http://phosphorusproject.com/
What does it mean that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)? What is so fearful and wonderful about the way God made us?
