b. Timotea Aurro (a.k.a. Timi Yuro & Mrs Selnick), 4th August 1940, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.d. 30th March 2004, Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A.Timi Yuro moved to Los Angeles as a child (she was given the name Rosemary at birth, by her mother Edith).In the late 50's she was singing in her mother's Italian restaurant.Timi worked with Johnnie Ray, Phil Spector and Willie Nelson during her career.Her debut single, 'Hurt' was released in 1961 and reached number four in the pop charts.Produced by Clyde Otis, the song was a remake of a Roy Hamilton 1954 R & B hit.The song was later to re-enter the charts via an excellent version by the Soul Group, The Manhattans.'l Apologise' and Smile' were released in 1962.Timi had several minor hits during this time, the biggest of which was 'What's a Matter Baby (Is It Hurting You)'.The song made number 12 in the U.S., and was covered by the Small Faces a few years later as the B-side of their first single.She recorded throughout the '60s and '70s.Timi left the Liberty label in 1964.She recorded for Playboy, in 1975, and in 1981 a reissued 'Hurt' which was a big hit in the Netherlands.Timi signed to Polydor and, during the late 80's, she recorded an album of songs by Willie Nelson, but soon afterwards her performing career was curtailed by serious illness.Timi Yuro passed away on the 30th of March 2004. She was 63.

Today we focus on trainee-led collaborative research, focussing on three of the best examples out there. We chat with the leaders of the British Urology Researchers in Surgical Training (BURST), the European Society of Residents in Urology (ESRU), and the Australian Young Urology Researchers Organisation (YURO). These groups have a number of missions, including networking and mentorship for trainees, but they also have a particular interest in collaborative research. We chat with Veeru Kasi and Meg Kulkarni from BURST, Diego Carrion Monsalve from ESRU, and Ellen O'Connor from YURO, about the beginnings of their respective organisations, how they function, their successes to date, and some of the challenges they face. We hear of some amazing examples of trainee-led research involving many thousands of patients, 50+ centres in multiple countries, with impressive publications to date. Quebrada del Yuro, a pochi chilometri dal villaggio di La Higuera. Si era arreso dopo essere stato ferito alle gambe, ma era già più di un mese, da fine Agosto, che lui e i suoi erano rimasti soli, con poche informazioni e senza viveri, dopo che l'esercito boliviano aveva annientato il resto dei suoi uomini a Puerto Mauricio, sul Rio Grande. Greetings listeners! In this weeks episode of the Warships Podcast, we crank up our epic sounds systems to full, as we jam to the likes of Yuro'Beat! Famous YouTuber and comedic World of Warships entertainer. Kelorn interviews Yuro beginning with how he got his start into creating his totally awesome YouTube content, and his love for the anime series Initial D. The cast continues the interview talking about cars, music, and how Yuro has almost single handedly been reviving the Eurobeat music genre. We bring up some differences between the SEA and NA servers and the communications barriers that exist, as well as talking about how communications effect things like Ranked game play. The cast also inquires about the importance of content like that of ARP and High School Fleet, and what that means to the SEA region for its player base. While getting into the heart of our show topics we quickly ask Yuro for his picks for the upcoming Ranked Season. He breaks down what he might use and talks about his outlook of this next season and Ranked in general. We discuss the HIJMS Kaga and USS Enterprise (CV6), as the new carriers on the block, the game play that these carriers bring, and impact they have been having on the game. The cast also gets into all the changes that Enterprise has received and what this ship is going to look like in its final form. Continuing on the topic of Enterprise, the cast brings up the prospects of competitive play in places like Supremacy League. How might she fare and will teams use this ship? Yuro speculates on KMS Graf Zeppelin another carrier that will most likely join the Tier 8 line up Soon™, as well as speculation on the High School Fleet Event and when that might hit the NA servers.
