In fact, there are 4 independent circuits of the brain that are correlated with lasting well-being, and all of them have been proven to have plasticity. Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. Basically, our mind can grow, expand, and evolve. The research that proves this was conducted by Dr. Richard Davidson - a neuroscience and psychology professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the founder of the Center for Healthy Minds, a two-times New York Times Best Selling Author, and according to Time Magazine, one of the 100 most influential people on planet earth.
