Transcription / Notes PEACE WITH RUSSIA—WAR WITH IRAN Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today's Castle Report. This is Friday the 4th day of April in the year of our Lord 2025. I will be talking about efforts to end the war in Ukraine as well as a recent New York Times article which attempts to explain the war against Russia. I will also talk a little about the apparent military buildup in the Middle East for a coming US attack against Iran and its Nuclear Research Facilities. Last Sunday, March 30, 2025, the New York Times published an extensive article by investigative reporter Adam Entous entitled “The Partnership: The Secret History of the War in Ukraine.” Mr. Entous claims to have interviewed many sources in various countries while working on the report which he says took over a year to complete. His report provides some answers to the question of how Ukraine was able to effectively keep Russia at bay and on the defensive for over three years. You know my position by now that the Times has become nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Democrat Party so this article which started a year before the presidential election is puzzling. I suppose the idea is that it can't hurt Biden now so why not publish and reveal what many of us have suspected all along. I certainly suspected it but I admit that I didn't suspect the extent of US involvement alleged by the Times article. Mr. Entous would have had to talk to and probably clear his article through some very high-ranking individuals and the Russians were certain to see it right at the time when negotiations with Putin are at a critical stage. The article then, is an admission to Putin of America's vast involvement in and orchestration of the war conducted by the United States directly against nuclear armed Russia. “The United States was woven into the killing of Russian soldiers on sovereign Russian soil.” The article alleges that the United Staes waged and is still waging an undeclared, unauthorized war against Russia. American officers, some deployed inside Ukraine, have been selecting targets for attack and authorizing individual strikes, making those officers in essence combatants. The article presents a picture of the war in which the American military, entered into an informal partnership with the Ukrainian Government and the US planned everything Ukraine did. Everything from large scale troop movements to every long-range strike were planned by American officers who even directed Ukraine's counter-offensives. The Americans decided what Russian troops and civilian targets to attack, transmitted targeting data and launch codes to the Ukrainians for the weapons provided by the taxpayers of the United States. The intelligence gathering system was vast including satellite surveillance as well as people on the ground, and it allowed for everything from big picture battle strategy down to precise targeting information for individual soldiers on the field. The US command center in Wiesbaden, Germany oversaw and reviewed each long-range HIMARS missile strike against Russians and advised Ukrainians of how to position their launchers and how to most effectively time the strikes. One European intelligence officer quoted in the article said that the US was so closely involved that it was effectively part of the “kill-chain.” The American effort was known as Task Force Dragon and was far more detailed and involved than I have time to review in this report. The last thing I will say is that the US provided information that allowed for the sinking of the Moskva, the flagship of the Russian Black Sea fleet and also the missile attack against Kerch bridge which runs from the Russian mainland to Crimea. Soviet military assistance was sent to Afghanistan in 1979 to help defend the progressive and democratic government against Islamic fundamentalist terrorists. This is well known, as is its outcome - the withdrawal of the Soviets, final defeat of the government and the take over by the Taliban. What is less well known are the historic links between the young Soviet Union and the newly formed Afghan state, which involved aid and cooperation over decades. Neither are the achievements of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan, overthrown by the Taliban, which promoted the rights of women and girls, workers and farmers. By contrast the West and the USA supported the terrorists facilitating the seizure of power by the Taliban. They wreaked further destruction and massive loss of life through their invasion. And now the US has withdrawn and the Taliban are back in power again.

STATES WITH THE RUDEST DRIVERS. This week on TalkCDL Trucking Podcast we discussed the top 10 states with the rudest drivers. These were based on drivers that failed to yield, failed to stop at a stop sign and most of the very preventable tickets one gets when blatantly ignoring a traffic sign. Which state was number one? Well Virginia of course, but you will have to watch the latest podcast by TalkCDL to hear the rest of the list. Why hasn't there been any new trucking shows BJ and the Bear, White Line Fever, Smokey and the Bandit and many other shows that depicted the American trucker but none in the last three decades. Whats the deal? With the driver shortage, Troy has called on Hollywood to bring back or make some new shows up about the American truck driver. Showing life on the road in a big rig could inspire some young men to get their CDL and take to the open road. We thought his suggestion was a valid one. By all means, it has been decades since BJ McKay and his best friend bear". So if anyone from Hollywood is reading this, please make a trucking show, preferably a sitcom. Depression in truckers Depression in truckers is a real thing. According to the CDC, 18.5 percent of adults have suffered from some form of depression. There are roughly 3.5 million truckers in the United Staes, and that calculates to roughly 647,000 depressed truckers. Concentra has an article on how to prevent depression in truckers. Klara Joseph was born in the southern town of Szekszard, Hungary, where she lived until she was 9 years old. Klara and her parents were granted immigration privileges to the United Staes in 1975. She grew up in the Los Angeles area and went to a private, Christian School from 7th grade onward. After high school, she attended UCLA and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.Before heading off to the Midwest for graduate school, Klara did a year of research in Ovarian cancer at UCLA. She then researched for a year at Washington University in St Louis on glioblastoma multiform (brain cancer). While in St. Louis, Klara earned a Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant at St Louis Univ. Also, while at St. Louis University, she met her future husband, Allan Joseph, where they were anatomy lab partners in medical school.After Klara’s husband finished his OB-GYN residency, they moved to Augusta in 1999. Interestingly, Dr. Joseph had the privilege of bringing the first baby into the world at each Augusta area hospital in the new millennium. Klara and Allan have now lived in Augusta for 21 years and have one son and one daughter.In her spare time, Klara loves to garden and to help foster kittens for Kitty Konnection, a local organization known for their diligent, hard work to help homeless cats receive medical care and find homes.

Dr Jean Bennett is one of the few people in the United Staes and the few people in the world working tirelessly to try to find a treatment or a cure for CHOROIDEREMIA. Choroideremia is an eye disease that is passed down through genetics and degenerative until total blindness. I have it, my brother has it, my 2 nephews have it. I have been raising awareness and money for the cause for over a decade when I got diagnosed. We talk about potential for treatment, what that would take, time, money, the risks involved, where the hell this came from in the first place, how she got started in medicine at an early age and a lot more.       Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States.  Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. Note that this was two and a half years after President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation - which had become official January 1, 1863. The Emancipation Proclamation had little impact on the Texans due to the minimal number of Union troops to enforce the new Executive Order. However, with the surrender of General Lee in April of 1865, and the arrival of General Granger's regiment, the forces were finally strong enough to influence and overcome the resistance.
