He is co-author with Jason Jones of “God, Guns, & the Government.”   John Zmirak's latest book: No Second Amendment, No First  by John Zmirak  Available March 19, 2024 Today's Left endlessly preaches the evils of “gun violence." It is a message increasingly echoed from the nation's pulpits, presented as common-sense decency and virtue. Calls for “radical non-violence” are routinely endowed with the imprimatur of religious doctrine.   But what if such teachings were misguided, even damaging? What if the potential of a citizenry to exercise force against violent criminals and tyrannical governments is not just compatible with church teaching, but flows from the very heart of Biblical faith and reason? What if the freedoms we treasure are intimately tied to the power to resist violent coercion?  This is the long-overdue case John Zmirak makes with stunning clarity and conviction in No Second Amendment, No First. A Yale-educated journalist and former college professor, Zmirak shows how the right of self-defense against authoritarian government was affirmed in both the Old and New Testaments, is implied in Natural Law, and has been part of Church tradition over the centuries.   --------------------------------------------------------------------  Check out our ACU Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/ACUPodcast   HELP ACU SPREAD THE WORD!  Please go to Apple Podcasts and give ACU a 5 star rating. These two powerful segments expose the cascading crises fueled by aggressive progressive agendas and institutional dysfunction. First, the host examines how the Netherlands' radical green energy policies have created blackout hours, manufacturing shutdowns, and economic instability—offering a dire warning of what similar plans could bring to the United States. Then, he reveals the escalating violence against ICE agents, including the shocking doxxing of an ICE spokesperson by Congressman Salud Carbajal, which ended in a brutal assault. The narrative intensifies with revelations of Iranian missiles smuggled across America's southern border and chilling intelligence that kill teams were actively targeting Donald Trump during the campaign. In a bombshell twist, the host details how Butler County SWAT officer Aaron Zaliponi—not the Secret Service—fired the shot that stopped the would-be Trump assassin, only for federal agencies to deny his heroism and cremate evidence. Together, these stories illustrate an unsettling convergence of energy failures, political extremism, and security breakdowns threatening the nation's future.

Are Wall Street law firms really the last line of defense for democracy... or just elite power structures protecting their own? This episode of The Brian Nichols Show pulls back the curtain on “lawfare,” elite hypocrisy, and the dangerous double standards that everyday Americans are waking up to. If you've ever wondered why justice feels like it has two rulebooks—one for the powerful and one for the rest of us—this episode is your wake-up call. Studio Sponsor: Cardio Miracle - "Unlock the secret to a healthier heart, increased energy levels, and transform your cardiovascular fitness like never before.": CardioMiracle.com/TBNS In today's conversation, we're joined by attorney and federal law clerk Tom Blakely, who exposes the bizarre argument that defending massive, politically connected law firms is somehow a moral crusade. From revolving doors between big law and the White House to law firms with top-secret clearances representing shady corporate clients, Tom lays out how power isn't just consolidated—it's weaponized. We're not talking abstract legal theory here. This episode dives deep into how average Americans are getting left behind while elite law firms defend corporations poisoning our water, rigging our finances, and escaping accountability. Meanwhile, the political class pretends that they are the victims. Sound backwards? That's because it is. We also tackle the broader culture war erupting under the surface—a class conflict between everyday Americans who are just trying to get by and the insulated elite who jump from private boardrooms to government positions without ever facing consequences. Epstein, Google, the Steele dossier, junk fees—yeah, we go there. By the end of this episode, you'll be asking yourself: Are we watching the fall of the rule of law... or the rise of a new populist reckoning? This isn't about left vs. right. It's about the haves rigging the game against the have-nots. ❤️ Order Cardio Miracle (CardioMiracle.com/TBNS) for 15% off and take a step towards better heart health and overall well-being!

These back-to-back monologues expose a worldview in which China has launched a multifront hidden war against the United States and its allies. The speaker argues that Beijing is circumventing tariffs by routing goods through dozens of countries and working through Iran and the Houthis to attack Western shipping, target U.S. naval forces, and undermine populist movements in Europe. At home, the narrative portrays an escalating “guerrilla civil war,” as left-wing activists allegedly intimidate ICE agents, exploit mass immigration as a political weapon, and attempt to terrorize law enforcement into submission. Blending geopolitical alarm with domestic outrage, the commentary paints a picture of coordinated threats abroad and within—driven by a Chinese quest for global dominance and enabled by U.S. political elites.

In this sweeping analysis, the speaker weaves together a narrative of escalating global conflict and internal division. At the center is China, portrayed as the hidden force behind Iran's nuclear ambitions, the Houthis' Red Sea attacks, and assassination plots against populist European leaders—all designed to expand Beijing's reach and cripple Western resolve. Meanwhile, back home, America faces what the speaker calls a “guerrilla civil war,” as left-wing activists, emboldened by political elites, violently target ICE agents and law enforcement to protect mass illegal immigration—allegedly essential for the Democrats' survival at the ballot box. With warnings of covert operations, compromised institutions, and the erosion of national sovereignty, the commentary frames the moment as an existential struggle on multiple fronts—one that will determine whether the United States can resist foreign influence, restore security, and reclaim democratic accountability.

Solomon explains how the probe, led by FBI Director Kash Patel, stretches from Hillary Clinton's email scandal to the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story, a revealing pattern where Democrats are shielded while Republicans are targeted. Solomon and Head discuss potential civil rights violations, election interference, and the role of declassified documents that could prove political bias at the highest levels of government. Solomon also weighs in on the possibility of a special prosecutor to lead this explosive case.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Trust at scale: Why agentic AI success starts with leadership

    Irish Tech News Audio Articles

Guest post by Cathy Mauzaize, President, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at ServiceNow As businesses shift from AI experimentation to full-scale implementation, bridging the AI trust gap has never been more urgent. While AI-driven innovations drive productivity, they also introduce new uncertainties. Executives across the C-suite must take the lead, embracing change and continuous learning. In EMEA, we are at a pivotal moment. Governments and business leaders alike are looking to ensure the benefits of agentic AI are maximised responsibly. As intelligent agents become embedded across front and back-offices, trust and accountability remain top priorities. Governance isn't just IT's responsibility - it requires active leadership from the entire C-suite. As global AI regulations tighten, clear governance can ensure AI is deployed transparently, ethically, and securely. AI decision-making must be explainable and fair to earn trust from employees, customers, and stakeholders. This trust doesn't just happen - it's built by active commitment, which business leaders must champion from the top down. Attitudes towards AI are shifting The dramatic rise in the use of generative AI and agentic AI has raised valid concerns around security, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and even the risk of employee over-reliance on AI, at the expense of human judgment. The key is balance: pairing the speed of AI with the empathy of human insight. ServiceNow's 2025 Consumer Voice Report shows how attitudes are evolving. Today, only a fraction of consumers in EMEA trust AI to handle a suspicious transaction. Yet, in the next three years, 33% say they would trust AI in the same scenario. Growing confidence signals greater comfort with AI handling critical tasks. Crucially, increased trust doesn't remove the need for human oversight. This isn't a choice of one over the other. AI and humans thrive when working together seamlessly, with leaders setting the direction for integrating AI effectively into workflows. Trust in AI starts with data For AI to be effective and trusted, it must be built on a solid foundation of clean, reliable data. I've seen this happen time and again over the past two years with proof-of-concept projects. Without strong data management that ensures accuracy, fairness, and relevance, AI will deliver weak outcomes - and take longer to deliver value. Meanwhile, users trust AI more when they understand how data is used and how decisions are made. However, biased data can lead to biased results, eroding confidence. By taking the lead in identifying bias and maintaining oversight, leaders ensure AI operates responsibly across both teams and data flows. Transparency shouldn't stop at internal audiences. Communicating clearly with customers about how AI processes data helps foster long-term trust and ensures that business impact is fully understood. Innovative leaders put governance and orchestration at the heart of AI adoption, establishing transparency as a core component of their business transformation. Leadership-led AI AI has the power to transform businesses, offering new ways to solve real-world challenges. This isn't some future promise. AI agents are already delivering tangible results today. One utility provider I recently met in the Middle East is a great example - they're exploring how to leverage AI agents to automate billing dispute resolution by analysing historical consumption data, recommending solutions, and triggering downstream actions. The result: faster resolution times, higher customer satisfaction, and reduced operational costs. Given the tangible value, it's no surprise that IDC projects that, by 2025, 50% of organisations will use enterprise AI agents configured for specific business tasks. Yet, the difference between unlocking AI's full value and falling short comes down to leadership. The path to success starts with leadership buy-in and investment in innovations that enable centralised, transparent, a...

He came to the UK from Prague in 1939 on one of the Kindertransport trains organised by Sir Nicholas Winton which rescued mostly Jewish children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia.Alf was born in Prague in 1932. His father was from a Jewish background and was brought up in what was then Northern Bohemia while his mother came from Austria. His father left Prague for London as soon as the Nazis invaded Czechoslovakia in March 1939. In June, when he was six-years-old, Alf was put on a Kindertransport train, arriving at Liverpool Street station two days later where he was met by his father. His mother eventually joined them in London the day before war broke out. Alf studied Politics and Economics at the London School of Economics and was elected as the Member of Parliament for Battersea South in May 1979. He lost his seat in 1987 and the following year he was appointed director of the Refugee Council, becoming the first refugee to head up the charity. In March 2016 Alf tabled an amendment to the 2016 Immigration Act (known as the Dubs Amendment) which asked the Government to accept 3,000 unaccompanied refugee children into the UK. The amendment passed but the Government closed the scheme the following year after accepting 480 children. In 2016 Alf received the Humanist of the Year award by Humanists UK of which he is also a patron.
