Ashley returns to the podcast to share the deeply personal story of how her marriage unraveled—and how she found the strength to walk away.In this raw and emotional conversation, Ashley opens up about being the sole provider in her relationship while supporting her husband through his worsening mental health. As his condition declined and communication broke down, Ashley found herself trapped in a cycle of caretaking, emotional exhaustion, and silence.Eventually, the breaking point came. What followed was a painful divorce and one of the hardest losses of all: the connection with her stepdaughter.Ashley's story is one of resilience, heartbreak, and ultimately, self-rescue. She reminds us that while helping others is important, we can't do it at the expense of ourselves.“You don't have to stay stuck. You're allowed to choose you.”If you've ever loved someone who wouldn't get help, felt invisible in your relationship, or needed a reminder that healing is possible
Matt had everything society told him would make him happy—a great career, success, and status. But inside, he was completely lost. After hitting rock bottom, he felt like he had no way out. He was stuck in a life that looked good on paper but felt completely empty. Then, he took a radical step that changed everything. He walked away from the life he thought he was supposed to live and embarked on a journey of true self-discovery. What he found along the way shocked him… and now, he's sharing it with you. If you've ever felt lost, stuck, or like you're living a life that isn't truly yours—this video is for you. Sometimes, breaking everything down is the only way to rebuild something real.
Some of my clearest thoughts happen when I'm driving—just me, the road, and no distractions. I've had some of my most eye-opening conversations in the car, even personal breakthroughs on things I've been struggling with. So, I've decided to hit record and bring these moments to you. Lately, I've realized that I haven't been giving 100%—not to my business, not to myself. I say I am, but deep down, I know there's more I could be doing to grow and improve.Maybe you feel the same. Maybe there's something in your life that deserves more of your effort. It's time to look inward and push ourselves to be better. Let's talk about it.
In today's episode, I sit down with my longtime friend Ashley, who just hit the 1-year anniversary of her business! We've been creating together for nearly 10 years, but now, we're both on new paths—navigating the challenges of building something from the ground up. Ashley shares: ✅ How she started her business & what inspired her ✅ The struggles & wins from her first year as an entrepreneur ✅ Lessons she's learned that EVERY business owner needs to hear Whether you're thinking about starting your own business, already grinding, or just love hearing real success stories, this episode is for you!
Fear is real. Bills are real. The weight of starting something new is real. But so is resilience. So is pushing forward, even when it's hard. And so is asking for help when you need it. Keep going. Keep fighting. You're not alone.
Merry Chrstmas and Happy Holidays everyone!I recorded this podcast several weeks ago during a particulary emotional moment. I tried a new audio recording method and things got a little...echohy. I debated over the past few weeks about posting it and re-recording it since I want to deliver the highest quality content I can.But this episdde is different. I feel in my heart that I need to put this message out there and that someone may need to hear it. I also know that I won't be able to capture the same emotions and rawness as the first time I did it, so here it is in it's real and authentic form. Let's move in to 2025 strong and refreshed. This next year I am challengning myself to put out a podcast each week even if it's just audio. I have so much on my heart that I want to share and so many others that have stories to tell as well. So let's grow together in 2025. I love you all!Stay connected: Instagram: @insightsintoasoul_official Facebook: Insights Into A SoulContact: insightsintoasoul@gmail.com Music by: Only Ghosts Find them on Spotify! I recorded this episode a few weeks ago and never posted it for some reason. Not that it was a tough episode to record or any negative reasons, I guess the time just didn't feel right. I think it's finally time to post it for whatever reason there may be.In this episode I dive in to divorce, my journey thus far and relationships as a whole. I am very fortunate that I have a good relationship with my ex and that my separation and divorce has gone so well, I know not everyone has had that experience. But sometimes we need to let things go for them to grow and also for ourselves so that we can find our way. Often times I have conversations with myself in the shower or with my cat. I decided to finally start recording those thoughts because maybe someone else out there is going through similar things and maybe it could help them as I talk it out. Lately I have been struggling with my creativity and trying to get push it. But I had to step back and ask myself "why?" why do I feel the need to have a visual brand and push out content? Hello everyone! Back this week with a new episode and it's time to take inventory. We are talking about relationships this week, not necessarily romantic relationships, but friendships and our connection to others. There are times that we need to take inventory and look at those relationships to see if they are draining us or if they are building us up. There will be times that we have to give and not get back, but there is a limit and at some point that can be come toxic to ourselves and do more harm than we realize. So tune in and let's have a conversation to help make ourselves healthier so that we can be the best friends, partners, co-workers that we can be. It may look like I have it all together on the surface, but the truth is, inside there is a storm that is raging. The pain and the hurt of my separation and divorce is hitting me in ways that I didn't expect. For the first time I am feeling the pain of aloneness, I am starting to settle in to my new life and there are so many questions. I am uncertain about my future and it scares me.⠀⠀The reality is that it is okay to not be okay. We need to learn to give ourselves permission to not be okay, to be able to take time to hurt the way we need to hurt. We get so caught up in society with putting on a face or being told to "get over it" but the truth is, every experiences different hurt and pain in different ways. What is small to you may be a mountain to someone else. ⠀⠀We need to learn to surround each other with love and help others through those rough times. It could be as simple as sitting on the couch watching a movie with someone so that they don't feel completely alone or being there on the other end of the phone texting back as they pour their heart out to you. ⠀⠀It's time for us to learn that it is okay to not be okay, but within that we also have to power to say that we are okay. We have the power and ability to shape our futures and grow in ways that we never though possible.⠀⠀It is time to take control of our lives and move forward.⠀--------------------⠀⠀Thank you to everyone to has supported the podcast. It's time to say "goodbye", NO this isn't the end of the podcast, we are just getting started. But it is time for me to say goodbye to certain things and move on in life for healing to really begin.I often get reflective and thoughtful and then forget my thoughts when I go back later to record. Or I lose some of the emotion and rawness of the moment. I want to start recording these thoughts and ramblings as they occur so that I don't lose them and so that I can be more genuine on the podcast. So, let's say "goodbye"Follow me on Instagram: @taurinhFacebook: Insights Into A SoulMusic by: Only GhostsFind them on Spotify! https://tinyurl.com/vapcsy3

Jeff joins us for another episode as we discuss the most notorious F word FAILURE.Have you failed? Of course you have and if you answered "no" then we may have to have a deeper conversation on another podcast. It is guaranteed that you will fail, I didn't really experience true failure for the longest time and when I did, I didn't know how to handle it. In pain and failure, wether it's a relationship ending, losing a job, or not being able to provide for our families, there is one truth, failure DOES NOT define us. How we respond to that failure and how we move on and learn from it (if we do) says a lot about ourselves. This is a personal project that has been put on my heart to create. As some of you know i recently separated from my wife of 13 years. With that comes a lot of emotions and introspection, so I felt that this was a great way to work through those feelings, a kind of personal therapy. BUT, it is also going to be a FUN podcast. I will be sitting down with friends and colleagues and I will be talking through all sorts of topics because everyone has different aspects to their soul. I will be talking to creative souls, entrepreneurial souls, hurting souls and all souls in between. Everyone has a story to tell and I want to tell those stories. So join me on this journey as we gain insights into a soul.
