Tyre Nichols screamed for his mother and Memphis police officers struck him multiple times -- including in the face while his hands were restrained -- toward the end of the Black man's deadly encounter with the officers this month, video released by the city shows. And although paramedics arrive minutes after officers disengage, Nichols appears to be left multiple times on the pavement without assistance before an ambulance comes. The city on Friday night released body camera and surveillance video of the January 7 traffic stop and beating that led to the 29-year-old's death in hospital from his injuries three days later. JUST A DISCLAIMER THESE ARE MERELY ONE PERSONS POINT OF VIEW. Over the past few years Fox News and other news outlets have disclosed a series of sketchy business relationships between Joe and his son, Hunter, and the Chinese and the Russians that I believe are obvious cases of the Biden's using Joe's influence, first as vice president and later as president, for their own financial benefit. These have been downplayed or even ignored by much of the media, so many of you may not be cognizant of them, but I believe the issue is serious and pervasive. It sounds incomprehensible, but how else could one explain many of Joe's self-destructive policies or illogically conciliatory attitude toward China and Russia? I cannot think of any other explanation. On the other hand, one can easily conclude that everything Biden has touched has had a negative impact on America. For example, consider his handling of COVID (in particular his failure to ascertain the extent of China's culpability), the southern border (not only permitting but encouraging the massive influx and dissemination of illegal aliens and drugs), canceling the Keystone Pipeline (and then turning around and standing by while Russia builds its own pipeline in Europe), inflation, food shortages, gas prices and his soft, conciliatory attitude towards China, Russia and Iran. Taken as a whole his actions have had an adverse effect on our health, quality of life and safety. I believe that at this time we are closer to nuclear war than at any time since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. CONCUSION Biden campaigned as a moderate Democrat, but he has governed as a radical “leftie.” The voters have been deceived. They have not gotten what they voted for. His policies have not been consistent with what most Americans want. His health is questionable, to say the least. He has been unduly influenced by his inner circle, which is comprised of persons from the far left wing of the party. His weak foreign policies have led us to the brink of war. Russia may invade Ukraine at any time. China is poised to take over Taiwan, which I predict will occur soon after the Olympics. Iran is close to becoming a nuclear power. Everything Biden has done or not done has resulted in a negative outcome for the US. One can only conclude that these persons are either incredibly stupid or they are doing this intentionally to change America radically and irreversibly and not for the better. Last week, President Biden gave his first address to the United Nations General Assembly. He continues to claim that "America is back," and that the United States intends to "lead on all of the greatest challenges of our time." President Biden used to be right. But, sadly, the current reality looks very different. In 1776, our nation's birth was the result of American victory. Since then, from defeating the Axis of Evil to innovating COVID-19 vaccines, America has always led the world through its darkest times. President Biden is not only failing to do that, but also making the world a more dangerous place. The Taliban and ISIS-K are unnecessarily emboldened, enriched and energized. Right now, they are arresting, torturing and killing Afghans who fought alongside American troops for years. The Biden administration has responded by calling these terrorists a "strategic partner." Unfortunately, the consequences of this rolling humiliation do not end at the borders of Afghanistan. The world is watching as we leave Americans behind enemy lines, despite having the greatest military force in the history of the world. And our adversaries will take advantage of President Biden's undeniable weakness. In the immediate wake of the disastrous withdrawal, China began performing assault drills near Taiwan. Every indication is that China will only accelerate its efforts to reclaim the country. Unless President Biden has a fundamental change in his constitution, we can't assume he would do anything to defend them. Russia increased their cyberattacks on America the moment President Biden stepped into office, likely as a test of his resolve. And how did President Biden respond? He cleared the way for a Russian pipeline that will boost our rival's economy and enhance their ability to manipulate our partners in Western Europe. This is the type of decision-making that is hamstringing our own interests, both abroad and here at home. Despite his generosity toward Russia, President Biden began his term by going to war against American energy. When President Biden came into office, for the first time in 35 years, America was energy independent. We didn't import a single barrel of oil from Saudi Arabia in 2020. President Biden is changing that. He sabotaged the Keystone pipeline, canceled domestic oil and gas leases, rolled back restrictions on Iranian oil sales and more. Then, when the price of energy began to rise, as it inevitably would, he even went to our foreign competitors and asked them to increase their production to help cover his mistakes. These decisions destroyed American jobs and empowered our enemies.  Meanwhile, Americans have watched helplessly as our already sky-high spending has grown to even more preposterous levels. Over the past 18 months, Democrats have approved or proposed $16-18 trillion in spending. And what is President Biden funding with your tax dollars? An ever-growing government, subsidies for politically favored industries, programs that incentivize people not to work and entitlement programs.  Essentially, President Biden is committed to ensuring the government is in your life from cradle to grave, no matter how much taxing and spending that requires. Predictably, this has resulted in levels of inflation that we haven't seen in decades. The costs of housing, fuel, food and just about every other necessity in your life are all on the rise. Among America's most competitive rivals, there is no longer any belief that President Biden can protect our interests. #1. Meditate Contrary to what most people think, meditation is not just about relaxation – it is basically mental training to increase awareness. Training is something you need to build up. But be sure to be specific when you do! Remind them about how they always take time to listen to you, even when they are super busy. Or about that time they came to pick you up when your car broke down in the middle of the night and you were stuck on a deserted highway. Chances are, they don't get such compliments very often. Showing how much you genuinely appreciate someone, is one of the best gifts you can give them.  #3. Stop worrying In order to enjoy the present, you have to stop worrying about the future. Worrying about stuff leads to anxiety. The problem for people who are often worried, is that they confuse their thoughts about reality with actual reality. When you focus your attention on your senses instead of the narrative content of your thoughts, it will become easier to distinguish your anxiety-inducing thoughts from the ruth. #4. Observe your environment Instead of constantly looking down at your smartphone when you're waiting for the bus, sitting in the train or taking a ‘break' at work, try to just observe what's going on around you. Focus on the feeling of the sun on your skin, the wind in your hair. Notice the movements around you. The people. What sounds do you hear? What do you smell? When this is hard for you, try to imagine your superpowers are heightened senses. Chances are, you will see, feel, smell and hear a lot more than before. #5. Do less We live in a culture that is all about business and deadlines and achievements, and it has us racing through life at an abnormal pace. We rarely allow ourselves to slow down. But what if we did? By physically slowing down, we can also slow down mentally. True, you might not get as much done as before, but it does help you do be more aware of every moment, to get more pleasure out of the things you do, and to actually connect to others. Try to do less, but be fully present in everything you do. #6. Leave room for free time I have to admit that I was one of those people who would literally forgot how do to nothing. There is always something to be done, usually work related. I had this go, go, go mentality. I was in a constant state of stress; the idea of just doing nothing seemed so foreign to me, it made me incredibly uncomfortable. However, this is not a healthy mindset. We really don't have to ‘do' all the time. Every day, try to leave room for free time. Even if it's just for five minutes. Just sit down, and do absolutely nothing. #7. Forgive past hurts Gandhi said the weak can never forgive. This makes sense when you realize forgiveness can require a lot of strength. Forgiveness starts with acknowledging that you are blaming someone for something. You need to become conscious of any anger, resentment and grudges you're holding, and ask yourself where those feelings are coming from. Once you know, forgiveness becomes a matter of letting go. However, you also need to forgive yourself sometimes, when you have regrets. Define them first, and then let go. #8. Notice sensory details during your everyday life If you take a moment to stop and, well, literally smell those roses, you will develop more appreciation for the beauty in life. Something was looking out for me last night... Model y nailed a horse on a hwy in MS late last night and was very intense and chaotic. NOT only did we almost have our ride explode as soon as we came to a stop after hitting a 18 hand horse going 70 on the interstate a camaro with a single occupant could not miss hitting this thing in the road becuase of it took up both lanes and it was humungous!!! He hit the horse at about 80mph then procedeeded to fly into the air twisting and flipping and ti=umbling he rolled and flipped over 10 times! I watched it all in the rear view and turned blue when I thought I was in some horror movie. The guy jumps out of this upside down camaro in litterally 2 seconds and I told my buddy to get the fuck out! I had been asleep and woke to an explosion of glasse in my face and him saying he hit a horse. He never drives so I thought he hit a large deer or a bigfoot... Importance of Being…Curious The important thing is not to stop questioning… Never lose a holy curiosity. Albert Einstein Intellectual curiosity is so important! We see that most clearly in how it manifests itself in geniuses. Intellectual giant are always curious persons. For example, Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Richard Feynman are all curious characters. Richard Feynman was especially known for his adventures which came from his curiosity. Curiosity is not only important for those with high IQs. Successful students (and people who are successful after college) often display a good measure of intellectual curiosity. But why is curiosity so important? Here are four reasons: 1. It makes your mind active instead of passive Curious people always ask questions and search for answers. Their minds are always active. Since the mind is like a muscle which becomes stronger through continual exercise, the mental exercise caused by curiosity makes your mind stronger and stronger. 2. It makes your mind observant of new ideas When you are curious about something, your mind expects and anticipates new ideas related to the subject. When the ideas come you will recognize them. Without curiosity, the ideas may pass right in front of you and yet you miss them because your mind is not prepared to recognize them. Just think, how many great ideas may have been lost due to lack of curiosity? 3. It opens up new worlds and possibilities By being curious you will be able to see new worlds and possibilities that are normally not visible. They are hidden behind the surface of normal life, and it takes a curious mind to look beneath the surface and discover these new worlds and possibilities. 4. It brings excitement into your life The lives of curious people are far from boring. They are neither dull nor routine. There are always new things that attract the curious person's attention, there are always new ‘toys' to play with. Instead of being bored, curious people lead adventurous lifes. 2. Don't take things at face value. If you just accept the world as it is without trying to dig deeper, you will certainly lose the ‘holy curiosity'. Never take things at face value.
