You've been taught to make money, live with purpose, and make a difference…but it's easier said than done, isn't it? I know how you feel. Been there, done that and have learned so much.Maybe you can relate with looking for your ‘passion', putting it into a box and calling it your purpose, your career, or your way to have an impact in the world–but still struggling and feeling like you couldn't quite measure up.Years ago I was a young wife and mom doing the ‘work from home' thing, striving to find meaning. While I was blessed to stay home with our two children, I felt alone and frustrated as I tried to figure out what I should do with my life. That was me. But not anymore! After years of research, coaching, trials and failures, I finally realized that I was doing it all wrong–I was looking for what I was created to do before knowing who I was created to be.When you learn who you were created to be, you are then empowered to grow into what you are created to do. Life becomes a journey full of adventure and excitement as you discover your way to implement impact, influence, and income.I'm no longer just a wife, mom of two teens and a business owner; I know who I'm created to be–more than just roles–and I'm doing what I'm created to do, like inviting you into this rewarding process so that you, too, can be who you were created to be and do what you're created to do!

I'm a former collegiate gymnast, an Emmy Award-winning sports broadcaster, ESPN sideline reporter, author, and keynote speaker. Whether I'm on sidelines or on stages, my purpose lies in helping people tell (and love) their stories, live more courageous, resilient lives, and find their own sideline shimmies. However, I didn't always know how to own MY story. As an 18-year-old college student, I lost both of my parents to their hidden battle with prescription drug addiction within hours of each other — and I spent years and years living in the throes of grief, shame, and fear. I was devastated, I was angry, and I was confused… and it took a long time to find the courage and strength to stand up again. When I finally learned to fall in love with my own story, I took hold of my shame — a universal feeling we all share — and repurposed it into something meaningful. Most importantly, I learned that I was (and am) shatterproof. And SO ARE YOU. Now, when I'm not reporting live from the sidelines, I'm taking the stage as a keynote speaker who helps others fall in love with their stories, harness their authenticity, and revolutionize their approach to life by leading with purpose.

I have lived through losing two husbands tragically in an instant, one to an aneurysm and one in an Air Force plane crash. I love marriage so much that I took a chance on it again and married the most interesting man in the world who is our rock and our secret weapon on most days. My favorite jobs are being a wife, clearly, I've done it three times, and being a mom to my two love nuggets, Davis and Campbell. My kids are tweens and they are so honest that you want to laugh so hard and in the next moment squeeze their little faces off because you love them so much. What a season of extreme everything we are in but I relish every minute. From recorder torture aka practice to slicked back hair for ballet recitals, it is just pure joy to watch your kids grow in wisdom and stature. My role as a mom is the hardest most rewarding thing I have ever done or will do. I love ministering to women! Whether I'm on the road speaking or through my ministry Be Still, I especially love the women who are the younger version of the girl I once was. You know the ones….bored Christians who know there has got to be something better, emotionally bankrupt, broken, and great at hiding. I love freedom more than anything else on earth and find myself saying at least once a day..it is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free. I really want to be your friend and I would love to take you bargain shopping and walk out of a store in a new outfit that cost us less than a cup of fancy coffee. Jesus, healing, freedom and my family are my jam.

He ran the floor like a gazelle, leaped over would-be defenders like a high jumper, and mastered the chase-down block. But Bobby Jones never really planned to make basketball his calling in life, and in some ways, maybe the game chose him rather than the other way around. He was tall, lanky, and when he jumped, he flew as far as he did high, making adjustments in the air as he risked his body to intercept a pass or send back an open layup. His emphasis on defense made him a valuable commodity, the type of player that turned good teams into great teams. At the University of North Carolina, Jones played three seasons for legendary coach Dean Smith and when he was only a sophomore, he won a silver medal at the 1972 Olympics. The Tar Heels reached the NCAA Final Four the same year. After graduation, Jones landed in Denver with the ABA's Denver Nuggets, where he proved that defense was more than a passing fancy. He earned a spot on the ABA's all-defense each of his two seasons in the renegade league before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. In Philadelphia, Jones solidified his status as the game's best defensive forward locking up eight straight NBA All-Defense First Team honors. Jones helped the Sixers capture the 1983 NBA championship when he was named Sixth Man of the Year.

If you love Jesus, we already have things in common. If neither of those things are true, you are still welcome here. I'm always honored when someone stops by. I've been loving Jesus for a long time, but I haven't always served Him. At 6, I gave Him my heart and at 23, I surrendered my entire life to sharing His good news. For nearly 20 years, I've been honored to write books, speak all over the world, host podcasts, and launch ministries. I will never get over the joy of it all, but mostly just Him. My family is my safe place. I have 5 best friends: my husband of 27 years, my 3 kids, and my daughter-in-law. Good food, good conversation and a good sale are my love languages. My life isn't easy or perfect, but it's beautiful.

What the enemy meant to serve as roadblocks in each of their lives, God has shifted into opportunity — opportunity to serve, to love, to learn, to grow, and to impact others for eternity. Living in the Indianapolis area alongside their three children, Natalia, Weston, and Cohen Davey and Kristi strive to be beacons of God's light and love, and showcase the power of His redemption to both their neighbors in Indianapolis and to individuals around the world. The interwoven story of the current Blackburn family dates back to several years ago… Tragedy struck Davey and Weston in an unimaginable way when Davey lost his pregnant wife of seven years, Amanda, during a home invasion. Amanda was shot three times in their home on November 10th, 2015, passing away in the hospital just 24 hours later. After Amanda's passing, an urgency kindled inside Davey's heart to intercept kids and teenagers in the inner-city Indianapolis area before they might step into a life of crime and drug-related activity. This passion was a springboard for Davey's praying and dreaming big as he processed the pain and hurt that stemmed from Amanda's death.
