—Come! —Preached by Dr. Robert G. Lee —Revelation 22:17 —Thanks For Listening, I hope you were helped by this! —I know the audio is not great on a lot of these, but it is the best that I can find. Many of these messages were recorded in the early to mid 1900's, and the audio recording equipment was not great then. But! The messages are worth the extra focus that it takes to get it.

This musical drama based on the Robert G. Lee sermon Payday Someday was presented at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee for the evening service on January 19, 1986. In attendance for this special presentation was Evelyn Gibbs, writer and creator, Dr. J. Ralph McIntyre, narrator, and Harry Hampsher, soloist.
Following the congregational hymn singing of "Great is Thy Faithfulness" Dr. Robert G. Lee offered an opening prayer before the message by Dr. J. Ralph McIntyre in this service held at Bellevue Baptist Church in the late 1950's. Speaking on the language of the living Dr. McIntyre asked the congregation that with the best vocabulary could they speak with assurance of God, speak with assurance of peace and forgiveness, speak of heaven as their home, speak words of comfort, speak with the power from God, speak on serving God and speak the words "My Lord and My God."
This weekly 15 minute devotional program aired on KWAM Radio in Memphis, Tennessee was once again hosted by Dr. J. Ralph McIntyre, Assistant Pastor at Bellevue Baptist Church, in the absence of pastor Robert G. Lee. The program began with Ruth Parchman and Janet Ross singing "O Love That Will Not Let Me Go." Brother McIntyre then followed with his devotional on God's good news, the Gospel. This was a Bellevue Radio Production copied from a 33 1/3 RPM record.
This message was broadcasted on KWAM Radio in Memphis, Tennessee on September 22, 1956. It was part of a weekly 15 minute devotional broadcast produced by Bellevue Baptist Church featuring their pastor Dr. Robert G. Lee. Dr. J. Ralph McIntyre, assistant pastor at Bellevue, was the speaker for this broadcast since Dr. Lee was out of the country speaking in the Canal Zone. The broadcast began with the Bellevue Choir singing "Victory Through Grace." Brother McIntyre then spoke on Paul who was called to be an apostle separated unto the gospel of God. This broadcast was a Bellevue Radio Production preserved on a 33 1/3 RPM record.

There's always a story. Stories make things real. They share history and connect us.Robert shares how he and Peter brainstormed their concept of Role Space. Their starting point of "start with the expected" helps us clear the metaphors from our heads that have been used for decades. Dr. McIntyre was introduced for this session with a very humorous, touching and most interesting introduction with stories about Brother McIntyre's children, grandchildren and his late wife Sue. The Scripture passage from the book of Ezekiel is from a book of measurements which can be applied to different facets of one's life. If you are living in a desert situation a river of prayer can be so helpful. Dr. McIntyre told of lady from when he served as the Associate Pastor at Bellevue Baptist Church under Dr. Robert G. Lee. This lady, Jesse Parker, was known as the lady of prayer. She was the one people always went to with prayer needs. In conclusion Dr. McIntyre expressed his desire that each person at this conference would leave swimming in deeper waters than when they came with a deeper experience with God. If they were living in a desert experience in their lives he challenged them to let the water flow. The water God provides.

This very special service marked the 20th anniversary of the Sanctuary of Brainerd Baptist Church (1966-1986) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The special guest speaker for this occasion was Dr. Ralph McIntyre who was pastor at Brainerd from 1959 until 1977. Also in attendance was Harry Hampsher who was the Minister of Music at Brainerd from 1965 until 1977. This recording is of the entire service including a remembrance of the ministry of Ralph McIntyre during his years there and his input of details and ideas for the sanctuary with its crystal chandelier, engraved Scripture passages, the magnificent organ and the warmth this building lent to the spirit of worship over the years. Special welcome was also given to the family of Ralph McIntyre (Pierce and family and Gigi and family) in attendance and also Martha Hampsher wife of Harry Hampsher. Harry and Martha were home on furlough from the mission field as music missionaries in Portugal. The congregation was then blessed by a mini concert of solo selections from Harry Hampsher. It was related to the congregation that the first service in this sanctuary was on January 16, 1966 with the formal dedication taking place on January 23, 1966 with Dr. Robert G. Lee presenting his famous sermon, "Pay Day Someday." The flowers placed in the sanctuary for this special occasion were in memory of Sue McIntyre, wife of Ralph McIntyre, who entered the presence of the Lord in 1975. The flowers were also placed in honor of Dr. Ralph McIntyre. Dr. McIntyre's message was marked with expressions of love and appreciation to the people of Brainerd and to the Lord for His leading and blessing the ministry of this church and this building over the past 20 years. The service concluded with the singing of "Amazing Grace." Photo of Harry Hampsher.
Today's message was preached from Hebrews 2:1-3 at Two Rivers Baptist Church. Dr. McIntyre mentions the death of Dr. Robert G. Lee of Bellevue Baptist Church.

(Strickland Gillilan).

Are you interested in screenwriting? Do you want to learn a few tactics on making crowd work, er, work? Then today you are in great luck! Comedian, screenwriter and former crowd warm-up Robert G. Lee joins us for a deep dive in both topics. Robert G. Lee started dabbling in comedy in college. Afraid to go it alone at that time, he performed with others and in sketches. He had an opportunity to become the crowd warm up act for a sitcom and jumped on it. Over the years, he has performed that demanding (and sometimes fulfilling) task over 1,500 times. So yes, he does have some tips on how to take a roomful of strangers and unite them into one cohesive, audience. From that experience, he began to ask for opportunities to perform small roles on some of the shows. As an extension of that connection with the sitcom folks, he also made his way into the writer's room. It was there he found he had a gift for writing. Although, the gift wasn't always welcomed. That resistance actually became a gift as he took all of his experiences and began to write his first film "Can I Get A Witness Protection". Robert graciously walks us through the process of making that first film. All the way from gathering the funds, location, and actors to the post shoot prices, editing and distribution of the film. We spend a significant amount of time diving into the structure of crafting a successful screenplay. This process, "The Theology of Story" can also be applied to your stand-up, a sitcom, or one man show. The podcast covers a lot of ground on both crowd work and screenwriting. Specifically: How Robert got his "break" as a crowd warm up act before he was a stand-up Crowd work tips learned from first hand experience The different audiences on set of the Golden Girls, Perfect Strangers and Wings Why you make fun of the head of a gang How he took what he learned from warm-up sets and applied them to stand-up shows Why it is important to recognize your strengths and go with them Writing sitcom scripts Screenwriting approaches How he raised $200,000 to fund his film which was shot in 16 days Why the post production can take more than three years to complete Dealing with SAG, WGA and DGA in the film making process The formula of Balance-Unbalance-Quest-Crisis-New Balance in movies and LIFE What is a mid-point pinch and why it is necessary in story and much, much more. Corey Ryan Forrester's love for comedy started when he was a toddler watching Carson (and then Leno) from a blanket on the floor next to his daddy Dale. By 2nd grade, he had already informed his teachers that he was going to be a comedian and didn't ever consider another profession. At age 16, he worked up the nerve to do his first open mic (lying about his age to be admitted into the club).Corey spent the next decade hawking jokes in dingy bars and comedy clubs at night then waking up to do random jobs to supplement his income. A house painter, retail associate, motorcycle salesman, urine sample collector, flower delivery boy, hotel maid, college textbook reseller and hay bailer. At one point in his career, he ran a family bakery with his mother where he was considered the “Head Quiche Chef”.Corey's stand up blends humor and common sense into a high energy act that is as full of as many silly faces and goofy jokes as it is emotionally driven tangents. Under his PBR hat is a giant head, and under that are surprisingly thought-provoking rants on society, culture, and politics.Corey & I talked about stand-up comedy which made him very happy. The journey he started when he was 16 writing bits on MySpace and has taken him to an international audience has been quite a ride. I talked about Live From Detroit The Jeff Dwoskin Show.
