Deep Dives into Good Books - Reading books definitely still matters! For 26 years +, Randy has presented synopses of business books at the First Friday Book Synopsis in Dallas. In addition to his presentations at his public event, he presents extended versions of these synopses to leadership teams and groups within companies and organizations, in multiple arenas, including leadership teams in city governments. And for 20+ years, Randy has presented books on issues of social justice at the Urban Engagement Book Club, based in Dallas. Randy graduated from Abilene Christian University, where he lettered four years in Tennis; and then earned a Masters Degree from Pepperdine University, and completed classwork for a PhD from the University of Southern California, in Rhetoric and Public Address. (Yes, he is in the ranks of the infamous ABDs – all but dissertation). The best way to grasp the complexity of issues is to read the best books by substantive authors on the subject. I have presented synopses son books by Pulitzer Prize-winning authors and renowned journalists, giving me a breadth of understanding regarding the issues of poverty, homelessness, and issues of racial justice. Are you ready to close more and earn more this year? You've probably heard the ABCs of selling or the ALWAYS BE CLOSING mantra that sales gurus teach. Sadly though, this old school sales advice no longer does the trick. Why? Because prospects, nowadays, always have their guards up. They're ready to shut you down during the first ten seconds of your call when they sense that you're there to close them. What salespeople need to master is how to disarm prospects, the ABDs of selling or to ALWAYS BE DISARMING in order to close more and earn more. How? Through skilled questioning. And this is what Chris and I discuss in this episode. Chris shares the questions he uses to disarm prospects that's made a massive difference in his sales conversion rate, and has helped him earn multiple figures in sales commissions without the stress. If you're ready to change how you do sales, click the play button and get ready for a life-changing journey. In this episode, we cover: [0:00] Introduction [3:45] How Chris got into sales [6:04] What sales was like for Chris before NEPQ™ [7:12] Taking off the pressure from sales [9:51] The process of disarming prospects [16:45] Talking in a scripted way closes prospects up [28:43] Chris's words of advice to listeners ✅ If you're looking to take your sales to the 7th level, book a “Clarity Call” below and let's see if you're a good fit for our sales training program!
If entering the 3rd year of the pandemic wasn't bad enough for your sleep, many of you may have been told at some point you have sleep disordered breathing and are unable or unwilling to use a CPAP device - now what? One of the most frequent causes of disrupted sleep and feeling poorly rested upon waking is sleep disordered breathing. Recent changes have made access to the gold-standard treatment for this condition harder than ever. But historical acceptance and adherence to the treatment was already abysmal. In this episode, I take a look at some non-surgical treatment options for the management of sleep disordered breathing if the gold standard positive airway pressure devices are unavailable or declined.Find a sleep medicine provider:https://sleepeducation.org/sleep-center/Find a dental sleep provider:https://www.memberleap.com/members/directory/search_bootstrap.php?org_id=ABDS
